- This is an AWESOME live (Rumours tour) performance of the classic ~ World Turning!! This is from Fleetwood Mac's AWESOME December 1977 ~ Japan concert. I think that this is one of the best live versions ever done of this song!! Lindsey sounds and looks AWESOME!!
I'd like to know what Chris is telling Lindsey at the very beginning of the song. (lol)
Enjoy!! ~Jackie (:
Love Lindsay and Christine together!!! Love the Mac!
I love Christine McVie's voice. She sounds so beautiful.
Oh and Lindsay is an under rated guitar and singer. He is just plane flat out so under rated.
@claptongroupie i totally agree. kind of pissed me off when rolling stone didnt honor him in their greatest guitarists issue, yet they honered kurt cobain and even john jett. and since were on the subject, christine was very under appreciated as a keyboard player.
Buckingham is so under appreciated as a guitar player..I think he's in the top 10...
claptongroupie John mcvee is wayyy better in my opinion. His bass riff for the chain is genius!
@@brandonh5201 That makes absolutely no sense. John McVie plays bass not lead guitar.
@@brandonh5201 thre both good on there own guitars ,this band is made up of the bestof everything!!and they had a bonus a guy lindsey who could produce the music too ,talent ans genious ,all of them ,they brinf ther especial bit to there band as one fleetwoodmac !!!rock on baby!!!

Glad to hear that!! Thanks for commenting!! I love this one too!! (:
One of the most tasteful drum tracks on record
Glad that you enjoyed this!! (:
kickass!!!!
Thanks a bunch!! I LOVE this version too!! It's one of my faves!! (:
My fave from Fleetwood Mac (Buckingham/Nicks era). W/that said, only "Hypnotized" (the L8, GR8 Bob Welch) & "Bare Trees" r better songs from Fleetwood Mac overall.
great tune
Qué maravilla!!
Lindsey zseniális
What the hell? Mick Looked like CHarles Manson here
Stevie looked pretty high.
Dude they were so fucked up in this.
Whatever Mick Fleetwood was on I want some...
From what mick said in his book, they were all pissed off during the japan tour. He said cocaine was hard to come by, j.c. ended up scoring some, but it was very little...so im sure it was probably a huge hit of what ever they could get lol! (At this time also, Lindsey had dry sockets from wisdom teeth removal, im sure he had a share too)
FMcfanAM Who is the 'j.c. you refer to? I would imagine Japan wouldn't exactly have been the ideal place where high quality coke could be procured. Having just said that Deep Purple and Cheap Trick both toured there and both those groups had their recreational dietary substance requirements. I would also like to add that I have read a few comments on UA-cam about how the addition of Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie ruined Fleetwood Mac. Well to those comments/commentators I would say 'on the contrary'. Sure the original Fleetwood Mac had primarily blues roots as its main influence and essentially Peter Green was the driving force behind that. And I so loved the sound of the original Peter Green/Fleetwood Mac as it was so raw. However a band/group is constantly evolving. If it is to survive in the commercial music industry it has to keep rolling forward. Ask any band/rock group. That's the 'nature of the business'. The music industry. And while it could be described as a 'dog-eat-dog' business, in that money is often at the centre of the core, thus competition can sometimes be unfair and unreasonable, that is unfortunately also, the nature of the beast. I write 'unfortunately' because commercialisation = corruption, power, and greed. And that can lead to all sorts of tactics and strategies both morally and ethically 'challenging' shall I say by chief protagonists i.e. record companies/labels etc all competing for the mighty share of the consumer dollar...need I say more? Anyway back to Fleetwood Mac. So I believe the addition of Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie, merely added to the band's development for the BETTER! Sure their sound changed. And sure it wasn't the same as the Peter Green/Fleetwood Mac sound, though it was never going to be! Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie are world class song writers, musicians, and artists in their own right...just look what they produced externally from Fleetwood Mac, it was superb. Just as the same as what happened the The Eagles. However when all these individual rock stars come together in their own bands to become ONE, well then, the rest is history surely?! So I say ROCK ON Fleetwood Mac, the WHOLE is always greater than the sum of the parts!
Blackscorpion1963 john courage aka jc, was their road manger up until he was fired after the tusk tour, i believe. He was the go to guy for anything that they wanted while touring. He would fill up bottle caps of coke for them during shows. According to storms (book by carol harris, lindsey buckingham's ex- girlfriend) Paul McCartney was busted for trying to smuggle in marijuana into japan before they toured over there. "It was too great of a risk for fleetwood mac to make." Hot saki and vodka tonics were their poison during their time in japan. I dont doubt there were any drugs, but very little, and definitley NOT the huge amounts that they were used to!
And...im a fan of ALL FLEETWOOD MAC,(peter green, bob welch, pre lindsey/stevie included)! I take that back, i dont care for the dave mason, bekka bramlett period...
Blackscorpion1963 was this before or after we did the version with the vest and hopped around like a frog wth balls? Lol
can’t play like this while on dope
