- This is another AWESOME live Fleetwood Mac/Lindsey performance from their 1982 Los Angeles (Mirage tour) concert!! This time around it's the classic ~ Not That Funny (one of my faves) .
Sorry about the glitch that appears on the right side of this particular video from time to time. I'm not sure why this is happening. I still think it's enjoyable to watch, though.
No claim or copyright infringement intended.
Enjoy!! ~Jackie (:
Say what you want about it being "screeching" but to me, it's golden simply because it's meant to be an emotional and angry song, and it's certainly that.
Quentin Lamb agree with you. it is so good, so live, so real! always loved fmac, Lyndsey such a talented guy too! ☺
I listen to lots of metal music so it sounds like art to me.
Whoever mentioned screeching something is wrong because he doesn't sound like that his voice is so unique and the music 🎶 😍
He wanted to rub it in on Stevie.
Everybody gangsta till Lindsey Buckingham just starts going buckwild and starts howling into the mic.
Perhaps the best comment ever. Anywhere
My all-time favorite FM performance. Can't tell you how many times I've watched this video. But it's A LOT.
Lindsey’s Song to Stevie & Mick and the entire band ! Also favorite video ALL time what RAW Gutteral Emotion. Watch zounds of times
Buckingham is by far the best member of Fleetwood Mac, Christine McVee being #2... they both are incredible producers & songwriters. Not to mention Buckingham’s guitar... one of the best to ever touch one!
Yes I agree n he was the cutest ever
Best at what though.. they all play different instruments
@@jaredc422 The difference between Fleetwood Mac being good & a great band is Lindsay Buckingham. The catalyst/pain in the arse that spurred on the rest of the band.
I agree ☝️ the best members the band ever had.
Finger picking. Emotional singing. artistry.
But c’mon Mcvee on the bass is as bad as entwistle et al.
Christine is so underrated as a keyboard player. This performance shows exactly how her playing fits in so well with Lindsey’s. They were truly the nerve center of Fleetwood Mac.
BTW, does anyone besides me notice that John switches from the red to the blue Hamer bass about halfway through the song?
This is like if Robin Williams played the guitar. The frenetic energy is palpable.
Love all of them! I could stare at Lindsay for hours. He could have been on Broadway, with the theatrics and pitch range.
True, there could've been a musical with a song that required all that screaming at 2:54
Mick
Fleetwood has got to one of the best drummers of all time!
he is great in this video---- but
Ridiculous comment. Peart, Bonham, Collins, Bruford and so many others are certainly much better. A totally different league. But I suppose Fleetwood is pretty sufficient for the kind of music FM produced.
I lost it when Lindsey started screaming!
Mick Fleetwood is utterly amazing in this video. Play on dude.
To those of you who have shared your likes for this video, I thank you.
Hell yeah they're fucking awesome
Tusk is a funny album. I hated it when I first heard it, but then it haunted me and I just had to go back to it. Now I love it!
Absolute musical genius, its clear that these people are joined at the hip. Brilliant
Lindsey Buckingham is the man he's crazy class song
I love this. The coke and drinking didn’t hinder it at all lmao
It’s just pure music with musicians feeling what they feel at the moment🤘
The coke made this better in my opinion 😊
The coke definitely made. It better
This is an incredible performance by Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. Overlooked! Love Lindsey w the cig, lol, and playing close off McVie. Also, I truly despise drum solos (ducks, covers head) but this one actually does it for me. I’m usually laser focused on how great Lindsey is, but John and Mick really make this performance amazing, too. Rock!

I prefer Tusk to Rumours. Lindsey Buckingham is the man!
I agree and while the next album certainly wasn't as good as Rumours, FM fans got the Rumours sequel in the Mirage album.
🙌
What does Tusk mean ...lol
@@berthamanley1854 It's the name of the album that this song was on.
I saw this show when I was 13 years old! And I never forgot this song, done exactly like this, ever! I'd love to see a video of the whole show...
What an absolutely amazing performance.
WHOA WHOA YEAH ,,, YEAH YEAH DON'T MAKE ME WAIT ... AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWGGGGHHH - HAW-HAW-HAW ,,,, A-WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ha haw ... do-do-dawhhhhhhhhhhhhhnt ... Ohhhh, oh ... OOOOOoOOOOOOooOOOOOoOOOoOOOOoOoooOOOoOoooOOOooOOoooOOoOooOoO...
Bucky's shere musical conception is amazing!! Punk / bluegrass a new genre!!!
I remember watching this in the early 80's as part of their HBO special. I loved it back then , and was not disappointed seeing it again 35 years later. Lindsay , Mick, John , Christine and Stevie were and are awesome!
Glad that you love this one as much as I do. Thanks for your comment and for viewing my video!! (:
Love it , you are a very talented & handsome to this day , bless you Lindsay..
This version is such an eye opener. Initially when I listened to Tusk in 1990 for the first time, I though great this is nice n fast, energetic. After learning the history of what each member's of Fleetwood Mac endured, it all fits perfectly. I should've stole that cassette tape from my dad, he never listens to music.
Its a master peice and ITS NOT THAT FUNNY IS IT
this amazing live track shows in full what an amazing group of musicians they are individually great but together like this track WOW!!!!
Lindsey is sooo good in this concert. A lot of raw energy & emotion. Had to track this down! And don't forget about Mick's drum solo! They were obviously flying high but making some amazing music in the process! 🎶
5:15...Lindsey finds one of them funny little cigarettes, and John McVie comes by for a sniff of it. Hilarious!
That's practically a British kiss.
John like um does Lindsey has a cigarette in his mouth okay I going to smell you cigarette Lindsey
What a musical gasm... literally.
I know my fella and I always say this.
Great performance, and you can say what you want, Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey is like a mac and cheese without the mac...... HE is Fleetwood Mac! And not the bands name givers.... Does someone ever wonder why they needed TWO guitar players to replace Lindsey????
Early FM before LB and SN was great. Not masterful like after, but great nevertheless.
@@serrielu8025 I agree, the early Fleetwood Mac was also great with Peter Green, just "a tad" different than with LB and Nicks. I was just stating how much influence and great guitar player Buckingham is.
Dang Linsey! I crack up every time I see this! I'm surprised and not so surprised when I see him do this version but I wouldn't change a thing.
Ive watched this video on laser disc, VHS, DVD, digitally & U-tube im gonna say over 2,000 times.
It f****** rocks!!
Love this song! Rock on, Lindsey!
Can't stop watching this every night 🤣 Gosh I love it
What a masterpiece!
This song took me a while to warm up to, now I like it, such a crazy song. Lindsey is just nuts in this, I love it. Thanks Jackie, you always spoil us with great stuff.
Lindsey carried this group for decades.
Richard Bull - Really sad this band touring without Lindsey..
As well as Chris. The majority of the best songs Fleewood Mac ever recorded were hers.
Mac were idiots to get rid of him. My fav tracks are Bucks and Christine.
@@MrTimetravellers Lindsey could be a PITA at times. He left for good over a scheduling conflict and he was unwilling to ti amend his schedule.
These guys know how to jam. Take 3 brits and 2 Americans and what have you got, Fleetwood Mac !
justmadeit2 : Have to say , it was so much better before the Americans , damn rhythm section can’t be beat.
@@roseblake5803 musically yes but the songwriting of Buckingham and Nicks really made the music come alive.
These Fleetwood Mac guys are just the best. Love them!! Decade’s liking
Love the song love The band love Lindsey
mick is crazy on the drums
Thanks for posting this one of my favorite love you Lindsey 💖
I love this song and him......this song always puts me in a good mood. ...thanks Lindsey n I'm so afraid is another fav..your Solo's were the shit
The madman of the drums!!!!!!!
8:42 holy moly 😅🔥🔥🔥
I've always loved Tusk myself...it was so passionate. And by the way, this drum break...while not overly flashy, is perfectly in time all of the way through....Mick is a MONSTER!
Fuck USA and Israel
Lindsey's $5,000 guitar. I want one!!!
Glad to hear that. I love that album too!! (:
Lindsey Buckingham Gems ... Still returning in 2020 to watch. Staying at home during this virus 🦠 and catching up on some great videos. Thank you. I could watch Lindsey 24/7. Love him in this outfit. So damn cute. But love more than anything watching him play the guitar. Enjoy the finger picking style. Amazes me. And Mick! Love watching him too. Great drummer. Great performer. Thank you for sharing. 🌺💚✌🏻
re-listening in 2019 . Get the kids outta the room! lol
L.B. is adorable in his outfit! 1st time ever heard this, ty for posting. 🕴👀👅
It's so different from the studio version. It's like they're taking their time playing with this song.
@@shumeister1059 It's called 'jamming'.
What a brilliant performance! I was fortunate to see them play live before Lindsey Buckingham and Fleetwood Mac parted company. Such amazing talents!
NOT THAT FUNNY, IS IT?! Great vid to respond to friends' comments. Just like Neal Schon is Journey, Lindsey is Fleetwood Mac.
You're VERY welcome (txpants). Thank you for your great comment!! I agree with everything you said about Lindsey (well said). (:
僕はリンジーの絶叫に、心底ロックを感じるのです。
一人一人演奏も去ることながら、動きそのものに魅了されます。

My favourite performance of anything ever:
I want to ask, is this song punk rock?
@@zahira_rania Not really. But it's as cool as any punk rock you'll ever find.
Saw this on HBO A Fleetwood Mac fan since 10 and am now 60
I need a version of this where it's just a closeup on Lindsey's fingers so I can learn to properly finger strum
Really amazing jam
Lindsey's guitar is amazing
I've been looking for this performance for forever!!! Thank you so much for sharing this. You have a phenomenal collection of Lindsey-related videos posted! I can't wait to spend a day just watching them all. I had the privilege of seeing Fleetwood Mac play this past weekend - and it just proved what I knew to be true: that there is no one on earth like Lindsey. In addition to being an AMAZING guitarist, he's still as sexy as he was in this video!
Thank you for this 1982 10minutes of my favorite concert! Mick's drum solo is as good as it gets!
Al Simon - The entire concert here on UA-cam..
I LOVE all of their albums with Lindsey, but Rumours is my fave too. (:
Athena and I adored this song Damn the memories I know she is watching with me. I so want to go!
Mick Fleetwood reminds me of Animal the drummer from The Muppets
Love this song!
Genial.......... de lo mejor de Fleetwood Mac con Lindsey Buckingham... Mr. Fleetwood de lujo en la batería...
Possessed drummer 😳😝👍
God I love air drumming to this.
Huge thanks for this! Gotta be my favourite song of Fleetwood Mac, alongside the Chain :)
JUST AMAZING..Went to see them live too :)

This is so much more fun than the usual boring drum solos bands were doing back then.
best version ; love it ♥
7:43, the beast arrives..Animal from the Muppets.
Jesus they were doing lots of coke.
This performance was included on "The Chain" boxed set. So, I put it in my "Chain" playlist. Thanks for the upload!
Heres the real life animal muppet on drums lol great band
I love this song!!!! amazing!!!!
Fleetwood Mac .........just the best !!!
Writing my thesis with this banger on... NOT THAT FUNNY!
They need to put this on tidal !!!!! So I can have it on repeat
I love this video!
Do is that and not breaking his voice. Amazing.
You're VERY welcome. Thanks a bunch for your comment and for watching my video!! (:
Fueled by the finest marching powder in L.A. at the time.
My boy amen Lindsey
Yeah I thought the cigarette would have calmed Lindsey down some but no. Oh and Mick, I've had some nightmares cuz' of you!
hey! watched videos loads and brill! ☺
Hahahaha
Are you sure it was just a cigarette? 🤣
It’s too short in length and burns too quickly to be a joint. That’s gotta be an ordinary cigarette. What makes it even funnier, pardon my choice of words, was that the jam drags on long enough that he actually has enough time to smoke in the middle of the song.
Just like yesterday I was in my early 20s damn We loved these guys!
It's not that funny is it
When you don't know what it is
But you can't get enough of it
If's not that funny is it?
Don't blame me!
Please, please, please!
I didn't wanna bleed so
I didn't wanna be this late
So don't make me wait!
It's not that funny is it
No one to turn you on
All your hope is gone
It's not that funny is it?
Don't blame me!
Please, please, please!
You're here cause I say so
Didn't wanna be this late
So don't make me
Don't make me wait!
Here comes the nightime looking for a little more
Waiting on the right time somebody outside the door.
This is a GREAT song to sing to!! I can totally relate. (:
@breetin actually this past weekend i went 2 a used record store & actually was lucky enough to find this--but its on a CASSETTE!--glad i still have a tape player! it ll do 4 now but im still going 2 b searching. thank u very much!
At 3:26 did Lindsey just had the microphone in his mouth haha
My favorite!!!!!!!!!
Genre punk rock

"That blow was REAL strong, man!"
Never ceases to make me laugh
Bassist whispers into Buckingham's ear, "Beer after show" and Buckingham nods as he plays the solo.
OMG... This song...
THANKS SO MUCH!! You're VERY kind. (:
2:56 to maybe 3:20 sound rather like Lindsey is crying or drunk
OMG!! I cant believe just 4 peeps made all that f****** noise!!
Amazing!!!
Thanks, Carol!! (:
Well that was fukin brilliant
