Guitar playin sun of a gun 😎
Great footage! Thank you so much for posting! I love this version! Hopefully, they will perform this on their new tour...However, I kindly doubt it...Take care and keep posting the great footage!
love this song 'one of my favorite mac songs
Blimey, I never realised they performed this after Peter Green quit the band... Buckingham's take is really very good!
Thanks so much for your very kind words and for watching my video(s)!! I GREATLY appreciate it!! (:

always preferred lindseys live version. thanks for the awesome video.
Thanks for your comment!! I agree, Lindsey's version is great!! In fact, I like his better than the original one, but that's just my opinion. (:
You're welcome. Thanks for commenting and for taking the time to watch my video!! (:
Glad that you enjoyed it!! (:
Fleetwood Mac @ its roots !!!
great vid..thanks
Awesome. I must confess, I just heard the original Fleetwood Mac version with Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer etc. version tonight on another video. Yes, the Rumours era band was more of a pop band than the original blues band, but they still rocked out due in no small part to Mr. Buckingham, who is also a master of production. Hail all versions of the Mac. Okay, maybe not so much after Buckingham left and before he rejoined.
@ElectricLabel Yes! There are very few who could pull off a version as smoking as Peter Green's, and Buckingham is one of them. And with no rhythm guitarist to fill the space either.
in their prime!
@ElectricLabel The only tours they DIDN'T play it was 1997 & 2003. They did it the whole time Bob Welch was in the band all the way through the Billy Burnette/Rick Vito years (1987-90)...and even with Dave Mason & Bekka Bramlett in '94/95.. Never really cared for Buckingham's take on the song compared to the other eras, but this performance was one of his better ones.
Lindsey is awesome. Such a ridiculous talent.
Credit to Peter Green due. But Lindsay Buckingham owns this song. Lots of live performances to prove it.
The peter green ORIGINAL kicks this ass . But i do like the footage from 77
Lindsey zseniális.
This is the hottest video ever
No offense, (notice the correct spelling of offense), but "Oh Well" is highly underrated. If you don't think so, you have never heard the full album version.
Zseniális
lindsey sounds much better playing this song on a les paul then on his rick turner
Sorry, 3 piece band! John, Lindsey and Mick! Rock on!!!!!!
Not officially. (:
not a patch on pete green and for those of you that are to young the 70's lineup of the mac was second string lineup of the band originally the mac had no chicks and had the best guitar player in the world and lindsay as good as he is just doesnt hold a candle to green
No offence, but I think this song is highly over-rated. Give me other FM songs any day.
I have heard the full album version and it is still overrated and I dislike it even more.
It must of taken some ball's for Lindsey to have a go at this so hats of him but his weaknesses are all out on display, thin tone, poor groove, lack of feel/depth, generic by the book playing. I guess it was hard for him always living in the shadow of Pete Green and the rest, but allways knowing other great guitarist's will see through it, He's great at his own stuff and i thank him for that but this show's his short coming's.
Jason Field You're so d@mned prejudiced! Lindsay Buckingham is a great guitarist. Let's examine the logic of your prejudice for a minute: Fleetwood Mac, always a band renowned for attracting only the very best talent, puts up for years, in fact, the best (best selling, largest crowds) years of their career, with a mediocre lead guitar player, LB, because they can't find anybody else. Do you really think that logic has two legs to stand on? Get real!
Mate with respect, this is not about logic or prejudice, just use your ear's and listen! but if you are on the subject "best selling, largest crowds" are no proof of talent, SRV played to smaller crowds than Bros for example but i am sure who had the most talent and that is perfect logic! Train your ears and listen for it for yourself then at last you can Get Real!
Three great guitarists. Gorgeous sounds knock me down.
