Finger picking a Les Paul, Lindsey B. has a really unique playing style. Vastly underrated.
That's not an easy job 😮😮
Yeah don't forget ab Knopfler
Lindsey Buckingham doesn't get the respect that he truly deserves. He's a phenomenal musician & vocalist
Guitar players know he is insanely talented
@@jm12green31 Knopfler is a Jazz Rock guitarist, and probably the best fingerpicking stylist in the genre. But Buckingham is a Pop-Rock finger picker which virtually no other rock guitarist does, so I give him the edge over Mark.
The most underrated bass player ever😅
Love Christine.. her passion shines, bless her Soul
OMFG how good is this? Turn it up people, this recording and video is of the highest quality. It captures the band with the world at it's feet. Lindsey just incredible.
Lindsey is such an awesome guitarist.
So underrated. This is my favorite pairing in the band. Lindsey and Christine harmonized beautifully. I wish the two had recorded an album together before she died.
They did and it's amazing
It's called Lindsey Buckingham Christine McVie came out in 2017 I think.
Love this version so much. RIP Christine ❤️
Kudos, to the Midnight Special for putting on amazing talent and showcasing their music 🎶 🎵. I used to watch this every Saturday night 🎉🎉. Fleetwood Mac is an amazing group with unique style and classic rock and roll music 🥁 🎶 🎵
I’m a huge Peter Green fan and of the original Fleetwood Mac lineup. This song is the one that got me hooked on Lindsey Buckingham with his playing, vocals, and a really great (almost unrecognizable) arrangement of The Green God’s original.
I love both versions of Fleetwood Mac, even though they are completely different from each other. Lindsey and Peter are both giants.
This is not a Peter Green original. Lindsey and Christine wrote this.
@@utbabeeYes, Lindsey & Christine wrote this. But they’ve acknowledged it was inspired by Peter Green’s “World Keep On Turning” from the first Fleetwood Mac album. I mean, c’mon….”world keep on turning…gotta keep my feet on the ground” and “world turning….I gotta get my feet back on the ground.”

Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie have this song 🎵 perfectly 🥰 💞
RIP Christine Perfect...
The studio version of this song on an OG vinyl album is a spiritual experience
This group is similar to the Beatles, wherein the best of the best (drums, bass, guitar, vocalists and songwriters) all came together by chance to create timeless music.
Thank you, Burt! These videos are a gift to music lovers like me! Love live Midnight Special!
You're very welcome!
Christine ❤
That's great editing by the show. Imagine while live. Amazingly Brilliant
Qué banda hermosa
Over My Head, Rhiannon, Why & World Turning were filmed in Burbank on 1/26/76 for later broadcast.
sweet dam !!! listen to that GD rhythm section !!!!!!
Thanks so much Midnight. Love this.
So glad!
No auto tune just raw talent. I feel so lucky I grew up with this great music. 💖
Buckingham can't be replaced period
Many Thanks!
R.I.P. Christine McVie
Chills!
Dude, that guitar playin'....cool....Christine sounds killer too.
So great to see these rare Midnight Special performances. I looked through your videos uploaded and was hoping to see the Foghat 1974 performances. I believe they played 3 songs . Do you have any info if the videos still exist. Would LOVE to see them.
Ahhhh the 70's... when everyone wore kimonos!
Big hair , great clothes 🎉. They had it all. Better than Woodstock.
Pseudo silk kimonos 👘 😂
He is really rocking that kimono and the hair. I love him ❤
I've been to several Fleetwood Mac concerts, and never once have they disappointed me. I'm a huge Fleetwood Mac fan, and this song is one of the many reasons why. All the way from Peter Green to Lindsey Buckingham.
Great👍
Peace Love and Understanding☮❤🫂
This is Chris's reworking of Peter Green's song. The lady was musically a genius.
no backing tracks there
Okay all you "Swifties" this is how you really put on a song and show. No fancy choreography and lights, just balls to the wall playing and singing. So glad I grew up during this era of music. Not much of a Fleetwood Mac fan, but this song is really damn good.
I'm a huge Fleetwood Mac fan, and this song is one of the many reasons why. All the way from Peter Green to Lindsay Buckingham.
Fleetwood Mac Forever! F### swifties.
i don't see the point in bringing taylor swift up here both artists are in completely different lanes
you mentioned her in another comment completely unprompted i think something's wrong with you
@@berk..,
Nothing wrong. I just have good taste in music.
It's not a competition.
💙Mick
Watching Lindsey Buckingham's playing on this song should explain why (until the recent joining of Mike Campbell) they needed 2 guitarists to replace him.
Even Mike Campbell can't play Lindsay's parts by himself . . . . However, FM usually had other guitarists on stage even when Lindsay was in the band.
Lindsey IS the man!
Stevie looks high as fuck!
@4:28 i guess these were the days before drum techs?
Christ' hidden manna will set all of us right, Christine, now in preparation.
Weirdo
Mick's balls 😂
Fleetwood mac ,no era la banda de peter green ? O acaso hay dos bandas con el mismo nombre, alguien que me ayude con esta duda
Is this a serious question?
@victorveras8118 Si al empezar con Fleetwood y Macvie. Peter Green se fue y cambiaron musicos. Es la misma banda.
can't hear nick's tambourine. even in mic. guess it's a taped up "dummy" again...
