Rod, was the 4g15t a straight bolt on on a ck2 stock tranny and engine mount?

@@meowtrox1234 as for the engine side mount it is a mount like the cs mounted u have to swap the bracket for it of the ck 4g 15 so u can use the original ck engine mount an as for the other 3 mount 2 as original on the crossmember and the other on the tyranny
The fans and radiator all fit as originally no cutting and making up or any thing to fit easy swap

Great video! I wanted to ask why does it spool so late? Isn't it suposed to spool fast by like 3-4k rpm to have full boost?
Thanks man. A couple things.
It's a low compression setup. Maybe 8.2 compression or so. That will have an effect on spool.
And we also didn't wannt bring in the boost too hard to make sure parts last lol. Low down tq tends to break parts. We could get it more responsive but it's safer this way

Hey thanks man! I'm using the colt head with a sohc block. This setup has forged rods and semi forged pistons which will be good up to 500whp

Hi Dan, I need your opinion. I am planing to convert swap my ck2 4g15 car into a cz 4g15t? Do you think it will fit straight in the engine mount? And with the stock 4g15 old tranny? Thanks
So the transmission will bolt up. But I'm not sure if it will work. As I don't know if the colt engine has a seperate ecu to control the transmission
Dude I recommend u stroker for you engine.. in Malaysia they build 4g15 like crazy..
I have alot of 4g18 1.6 blocks with cranks at home that I can do this same build with. So that can be a future plan as well

Just need a bit delay mivec activation at 6k rpm & max rex 8k rpm will be a good graph.
This mivec is not like the older ones. Its more like a VVT, variable, not on and off. So its on down low for more flow and tapers off to the top. The car is also not making any more power after 7000rpm, so no need to rev to rev to 8k.

Yea correct. It really helps the mid range. This works out the best for me as I compete at autocross, and most times you're exiting a corner at 3500rpm or so, and it really pulls the car out of the corner. Helps that response.

Yes you can. It can be mated to a 4g15 or 4g93 awd gbox

Really well. No issues. And I competed in at least 12 to 15 events since installed and I daily drive it

I havent seen much recently. I do have a friend with a 4G94 Mivec, 2.0 Mivec, they are currently doing some work on that setup.
What gearbox you used ?
At the time I made this vid, a non lsd mivec gearbox. Currently I'm using a factory lsd mivec gearbox

This is a 1.5 low compression setup with a mivec head.

What diff your using now?
Put back in a stock Mivec diff, no lsd and no phantom grip
how much high boost for inside engine stock ?
Engine is built, forged rods, semi forged pistons. High boost is 29psi.
Stock can probably take around 14 psi

The ones I race on are enkei tarmacs 17x8 +35 offset. The other wheels are evo 6 wheels, 17x7.5 +35 offset

@@mexibrasi07 yes they will, u just need those exact specs. My fender lips are rolled as well, so it gives me the extra clearance. I can run up to 255 40 17 with no rubbing or touching. But 235 40 17 is the safest fitment

Yes, well ajusa headbolts. But its oem/stock size. I did order stock headbolts for the 4g15Mivec turbo, only to realise its the same as the the oem sohc head bolts. So far we have seen 29psi with oem head bolts and no issue. But its not something i recomment anyone to try lol

Bro can help....my car is 4g13 carb 12v.....i just want to change the head....will it fit with the dohc 16v type?
All the 4g1x series line up. So in theory it will work. Are you remaining carb or going fuel injected?

If the intake can bolt up i dont see why not. Also, if you use a 1.3 block with the 1.5 head, the ecu to match will be sending too much fuel as it thinks its a 1.5 engine

This is the Mivec Turbo 4g15 head from the Mitsubishi Colt. direct bolt on to the 4g15 sohc block but you will need the oil pump, water pump, trigger and crank sensor to work it. A standalone ecu will make it even easier.

Ha ha. Comes down to tuner and parts. This setup supposed to take 500hp comfortable. I'm just not willing to push that lol
