Can you make a list on what I would need to swap my head on my 4g94 to make Dohc
Based on my knowledge, belt, twin cam pulley and bracket that goes to the engine mount. other than that, everything pretty much bolts up.
I looked at another 4g93mivec(1.8) dyno they were able to get almost the same HP(167) but the Torque is around (125+). I was expecting a little more hp on a 4g94(2.0).
We have some restrictions in the setup. Currently redoing some stuff so we expect more power soon.
This car is running super great!!!!. But i Have my 94Mivec All Motor 209whp & 169wtq in a Lancer 03

Cant remember the exact belt lol. It would be a standard one, but cant remember which one as it will depend on the pulley you make for the setup
Try to look at the malaysian and indonesian scene on the 4g9 series engine. We ran as fast as 11 sec quarter mile all motor here.
What fuel you guys used? we are on pump gas, 93 octane

It's a custom made intake. I believe its b18c pistons as the size was similar to the 4g94 size
hey brother i have a N/A 4g69 and when the Mivec kicking in at 3200 Rpm i feel big different ...hear a big difference ...... you're car it sounds like no mivec activation ....could be huge power increase
Its the way they have the transition setup, its smooth. But where currently doing some work on the setup. Will post a new vid once this is completed
I have a mitsubishi carisma msx which already has a 4g93 1.8 dohc 140hp, it's not mivec, but as it's a model that only came out in europe they did a collab with renault so the gearbox is renault, so I'd like to know which one is the model and in which cars does this gearbox come in, because there are few Mitsubishis that we see with the gearbox facing the right side (if we are looking at the car from the front), I want to swap it for a Japanese gearbox , but I don't know what adaptations I need to make, if anyone knows what gearbox this is and what steps I need to take, please tell me :) it would help a lot
Its supposed to be a direct bolt up. You have to find a ck lancer. Even the cs lancer 4g15'/4g18 gearboxes can bolt up to the 4g93 engine

On the 15s note though, once the overall diameter of the tyre factored, then yeah acceleration would have a benefit if the tyre smaller, especially on a NA setup.

As for the 15s, we got alot of wheelspin, as it's 2.0, it's alot of tq down low.
So thats why we opted for the 17s.
With proper slicks, 15s would work out better yea.

@Daniel Persad Correct. That's why I mention the sticky treadwear for 15s. I Think with the 15s he can launch a slightly lower RPM (4-4.5K) and keep part throttle. Or even as wheelspin starts, short shift 2nd and go.
But for sure a lighter launch will give a nicer move off
@Jayryia yea for sure. U would think he was launching high, that was around 2500rpm max eh lol. 2.0 with alot of low down tq to deal with. Any lower and he basically roll off . But probably feathering the throttle can help. First time out. So next time with more practice, we should see a better time

@Mivec Man Channel in time yea. This was street tyres 180tw. Worked with what we had at the time
Mileage is acceptable but it can do a lot better. You should make a little more power with that setup. More revs maybe. Rods look frail on the G94 but they can take good punishment

That shit slow . Cant beat nothing Remove the honda pistons its running like one .😅😅😅 I've seen 1.8 sohc in Puerto Rico n/a hit 260 to 280 .something ain't right with that combination. Or tuning
What u didn't mention is the type of fuel the guys in Puerto Rico using. This is tuned on pump gas, not any type of race gas.
So do you know how much power a mirage cyborg produces? 175 hp and its a 1.6 liter you got a 2.0 dohc mivec it's supposed to be at least 230 to 250 .do the math .am telling you something ain't right
@generalmanager644 175bhp. You're confusing bhp and whp. Fuel also plays a big part of it. But the car still has some upgrades to do, and more tuning to go. But u don't just easily make power n/a
