Did you find any trouble with small end width in this pistons
4g63 conrod width is 26.40 mm
K24 conrod width is 19.80 mm

I have a lancer 2.4l 4g69 i wonder if i install my power pully will lose power starring , A/C and cooling .... is this mod worthy for everyday driver ..... does it require a different belt from stock ?
I wont recommend no ac for a daily driver lol. And the power gains will be very minimal

1.5mm - 2mm gasket would be good .

K 24 pistons did you use the pistons rods from the k24 as well? Or you use the 4g69 rods?
We used eagle rods for the 4g63. Just the pistons were k24

F5m42-2 gearbox?........ 480cc injectors and getting 400hp? .. duty cycle was what percentage? .. what was the 400hp psi@
Yeah I started lifting an eyebrow when I saw the injector size too

@@willis23jm1 yea I think its decanted. Injectors definitely needs an upgrade. This was a mixture of pump 95 an some c16. So that helped alot. I think 16psi gave him 400whp
The injectors are decapped but are currently maxxed at 18psi and need upgrading to bigger injectors I am also running water methanol injection which is helping

Avg compression we think is around 10:1. we used a 4g63 thicker head gasket.

@@NSPlayer the owner said he will stay fwd. Most ppl we know goes awd but he likes the fwd setup
Awd advantage is quicker off the line.. fwd is way faster once going as less weight n drag.

to swap using 4g69 on a lancer, is the lancer's default gearbox plug and play? What gearbox does the Lancer above use? please answer thank you
Hey man. So when going to 4g69. You have to use a 4g69 gearbox or a 4g63 fwd gearbox. The 4g9x or 4g1x boxes won't bolt up.

What year and model ? Whats this car called in canada?
This is a 1998 ck2 lancer. Comes with a 1.5L 4g15 engine but we swapped it out for a 2.4L 4g69 engine and turbocharged it.
did you do any modifications to make the 63 headgasket fit?
Yea we did. Had to weld off a oil port on the block as the head gasket didnt have a spot for it. Block was carried to the machine shop after to deck the block.
The 4g63 head has a oil drain port where the 4g69 head doesn't so that part of the 63 gasket it slightly out of the 69 head so I welded that port on the block closed then decked the block.

It's just off the shelf nippon k24 pistons rated for over 500 hp. Bought on ebay

It's a 4g69 gbox. Only that or a 4g63 gearbox can work. The 4g9x series gbox has a different bolt up

Fwd Eclipse and galant gearbox can wrk also..2005 and above gearbox has better gear ratio than ralliart version.

Could be anywhere between 10 to 15k . Depends on if you use new or used parts.

boost by gear
Where working on that as well. Going to test boost by speed an boost by gear. Because the spring is an 8psi spring. And it makes 300whp at 8psi, we may look at going with a smaller spring to help with the traction
