the red cord around your arm. need to be connected whit the boat if you are with 2 peoples on board. so when you fell in the water the other can go to you with the boat. now you fall off board and he cant do something. Think about it

Exactly what happened to me. Got a slight crack on the transom of my dinghy after pushing 2 people 16 mph with a 8hp 2 stroke.

Not makes, they buy fromTohatsu and put own decals . Tohatsu are made in Japan and super reliable.

These engines are very light on fuel. The tank lasts all day for me.
I had a 6hp Evinrude and used it for 6 trips to the lake before I got even close to running out of fuel.

Id put either a 9.9 or an 8 hp on that boat its pretty big for that little motor. Thats something you would put on a boat like a bass raider 10 e.
