Recently made a career change and started working at a pastry shop after 10 years working in front of a computer, and by far the biggest challenge has been the amount of hours standing on my poor feet and legs. The first 2 weeks were so intense, like daily cramps, sore everything and wondering if I made the right choice but it's been two months now and my body has gotten more used to it, but yeah, working in kitchens? Way harder than I ever imagined.
Super amazed that you decided to take the chance and study again, I even got curious enough that I'm on Ferrandi's website right now checking their courses lol good luck, hope you learn everything you wanted and more!
been in the restaurant industry all my life.. it's definitely tiring and very hard on your body. i love it, but i know i can't be doing this my entire life.
This is so wonderful. I wish everyone had an education experience like this. Going not because you were told to, or expected to, but for the love of knowledge and experience of it. ❤❤❤
As you said, the fact that the student present at the course WANT to be there, it makes a huge difference in everything. The feeling, the camaraderie and the will of everyone to learn is truly motivating and gives you strenght for the day. I really like to see you enjoying your trip here in France. Inga I love your content so much! After I saw your first video in the Paris apartment I went back and rewatched all your old videos and realised that you've really manifested being in baking school! Most of your videos have at least a 2 minute segment of you fan-girling over bread and I find that so heartwarming. Also, you've really inspired me because there's still so much I want to do in my personal life and you've really made me believe that it's never too late; at the cost of sounding corny. Thank you ❤

omg I miss french baugettes so much!!! That's like all I ate when I was there. That looks like a long day, but you learn so much from it. The lunch looks exactly like the ones I had in university there. And dinner there doesn't start until 7:30pm which makes so much sense so you can relax a bit after you get done with school or work
