Blowing it up was out of the question since it was too close to Orion44. Lights and engines are still on after all this time but other than that there has been no sign of activity from the derilict. Some scavengers let their curiosity get the best of them but they were gone before they could reach it. Just straight up and disappeared. Then a felon tried his luck at hiding. He reached the derilict. His shuttle can still be seen just outside the derelict but it's been a long time since he entered that thing now. If he wanted to leave again he could have done so long ago since pursuers wouldn't risk having the case being classified as a vendetta. Besides, a ship that old and he would have been better off staying in his shuttle. Maybe he likes huge living spaces. We call these derilicts celests. Some turn of events like the crew going missing leaves them stranded at whatever destination it was set to navigate. No telling how long it took for the Orion44 celest to reach that destination but considering the age of the ship it must have been on a long trip. Hard to tell what they valued at Orion44 way back when.
woah... really trippy. gives me major dead space vibes. feels like you’re in the zero g sections or outside the ship staring into the endless black abyss of stars and seeing the massive ship stretch on for miles... such a great game.

Rutger Hauer ad libbed that entire thing after reading the script and not caring for what the script writer had written for him to say. I have to agree that what Rutger ad libbed was much better than what was written for him. I've read a copy of the script and the original epilogue for Roy is corny and Awful. This masterpiece that Rutger came up with on the fly is just incredible, especially when added in with how he delivered it verbally. I can imagine that the director and the cinematographer were blown out of their socks after Rutger delivered this all while having rain machines pouring down on him. This proved just why Rutger Hauer was such a hot commodity back in the late 70's and through the 80's. He always gave an incredible performance.

Absolutely love this. Not sure why it's taken me so long to comment or 'like'. You have no idea how hard it has been for me to find this kind of ambient music. Most people only do the two ends of the scale: dark & light. There's a whole range of moods in-between that so often get glossed over. Who composed this and is there more like this? I would describe this music as focused, serious, plotting. It's great for me to write to.
