Hi , I was passing through the comments the other day, and came across yer name...., and thought it was peculiar, and didn't think much of it, ... well sometime after COVID I started noticing some weird behaviors ' and thought loops were one of them haha, so I've been in a thought loop thinking of yer name and, probably cuz it's relevant to me in some way, in regards to the other symptoms I'm having, albeit (absurd thoughts haha), well anyways....so I was brought here yesterday or the day before or whatever , by the person in charge of my entire adult life, basically my captor or captors' (it's acceptable here cuz I get lots and lots of extra attention in a small pond in comparison to the others btw haha) well this actually isn't a negative comment although it sounds like it was headed that way haha , but it needs to all be said before making most points these days haha, atleast for me , well this this has been going on for a decade living as a pow or hostage smack dab in the middle of the greatest country in the world where everyone else is happy happy happy lol! which definitely makes the situation worse... well after a decade of living life in a way a normal person wouldn't ever! ....(live in my opinion due to aformentioned I then yes started noticing things but it took a decade of ILLEGAL captivity in a made up reality for it to start haha ) well with that all said , we me and my captors'apparently both like this stuff, which is cool....., but anyways so I came here last night, on my own this time, and my yt page got stuck on yer name! haha who would have thought, haha.....weird I thought haha, .....; Basically I sometimes read yt names and comments and they swirl around inside my head for days! haha and sometimes idk? why ? haha....., Well anyways I just thought it was odd , that I was forced to come here , 2 days ago against my will basically but wasn't complaining about it lol! ....., then read that name, and then got stuck in another thought loop because of it lol! (this ! name 😆) and then the next night came here on my own, cuz like I said we apparently both like this ......., well then like I said got stuck on yer name haha, now I'm smart enough to know that it could have been the people illegally in charge of my entire life like a captor would a hostage, or slave, and yes I am that fr no lie (no exaggerating)hince the recent symptoms haha, well anyways I know it could been them yes, freezing my phone up , (it still happens every day) but regardless of chance ? or a narc wanting to be in control of there ring lol! regardless....it's still interesting to me haha. This is the next day 3 days ago now, so I'm just commenting on yer name. I sometimes do say my thought loops outloud sometimes which might be relevant here too.
I love yer comment btw , this is the next day like I said..... technically 3 days from now haha,....... but yes I do, like yer comment, and I agree .....wish I could say I got out of that period lol! I'm OBVIOUSLY still living in a horrible situation, where I'm missing basically all 1st world country privileges' (plural) no I didn't sign up for this , and I wouldn't have lol! I totally agree with what yer saying, good stuff! also I was fine when this is all started yrs and yrs and yrs ago haha. Idk ? how much it helps me? but I do enjoy this .
You'd think that this would solve everyone's existential crisis.. An existential crisis exists outside of one's "self", it's a "purpose" or place inside orthodox man-made constructs that simply don't exist- Yep, I'm a blast at parties..
The cover fits the music entirely. This combination makes humble and overcomes any seperation of body and mind, which are the usual consequences of our overly protected, complicated and shrill civilization. To be near death means to be more conscious of life. But be aware of the dark abyss into which we look then.
i started listening to this and haven't stopped in 6 years. Even though its some ice artic expedition it reminds me of Dante's 9th circle. So sorrowful, so beautiful.
I'm a student of philosophy, I hear this particularly when studying social critics, politics and such themes. The music seems to give the texts a deeper and darker visage, as if sifting through them means you're unveiling dark truths.
I was in Siberia mountains recently. I'm severely depressed and have lot of heaviness in my soul... After climbing on high mountains with my father I felt... Like wind there and other beauties of Siberia clear my soul... It's literally impossible to describe... View from above into other cold and high mountain and cliffs, this icy breeze (there was around -30 or -35 degrees Celsius)... And I suddenly cried right there. I won't forget this moment never. How I felt alive... Again...
Want some plans for the evening? "Mountains of Madness" by Lovecraft or the graphic novel by Gou Tanabe based on it/ "The Terror" by Dan Simmons/ Dyatlov Incident (yesterday (02/02/2019) was 60th anniversary, what a coincidence) and THIS music!
Those are all arctic \ desolate freezing locations where something ancient once called home that kills any human trespassers like those fellas in the picture there about to discover something truly fantastic and terrifying!
Arthur Schopenhauer is often criticized for his bleak outlook on the human condition. However critical you may be of him, I would find it difficult to refute his claim that art is a powerful tool to mitigate suffering, this video being a prime example of that. This and G A S are some of the few things that can calm the storm for me as of late. To quote a comment on another video I saw somewhere "The rest is just noise at the moment." Thanks for this video.
"Do you know why I love you, Sazed?" she asked quietly. "I cannot fathom," he answered honestly. "Because you never give in," she said. "Other men are strong like bricks-firm, unyielding, but if you pound on them long enough, they crack. You. . .you're strong like the wind. Always there, so willing to bend, but never apologetic for the times when you must be firm. I don't think any of your friends understand what a power they had in you."
One of the BEST binaural music the mystery the wind also soothing but...in a way sad thinking about existence and how cruel life can be yet at the same time this music is calming love it!
This has always been one of my favorites..captures the essence of the cold..the explorers surrendering their bodies to the unknown..The icy wind blowing over us tiny beings of water..all is quiet and purified and must surrender to the futility of biology here. Our cells clinging to the last beat of warmth in a desperate attempt to remain alive.
I like it cuz the whole entire vibe explains how I currently feel about my life, the best word to describe this music would mysterious which is obviously fitting, ... I have many unanswered questions ' about the tests and experiments being run here ....., and everyone else and covid 19 for that matter as well haha, as far it's relevancy to others , as well as me .
I've heard and admired a plethora of Iron Cthulhu Apocalypse works for a long time, but there is really something this one. It has "it". Nothing comes close to this partucular piece. This remains my ICA favorite over all ICA favorites. THE milestone! ❤
makes me feel like i'm the last survivor of an expedition gone wrong in Antarctica, aimlessly walking through the snow while shadow people stand still in a far distance near the mountains observing my movement.
I think this might actually be affecting me subconciously. As soon as I turn it off, I start feeling worse again. It's not like listening to regular music. When I do that, my mind is still racing through thoughts and I don't actually feel better, I'm just trying to get my brain to release those sweet chemicals as a reward for hearing a good melody to distract myself. This is very different, it actually powers the mind instead of cluttering it. I'm not kidding, I can actually feel this inner bliss in my body.
You may want to try Meditation. It is not that your brain is releasing good chemicals as much as it is your brain is focused not allowing negative thoughts to enter your consciousness. Give meditation a try. And if you are willing to smoke a bit of herb, it will boost it drastically.
Out of every piece of media i've ever consumed this is the only one thats gotten me to comprehend what true cosmic horror is like. Less so horror, more sheer mystery. Humanity's the only one cognizant of this mystery and we try to solve it. But like babies without parents we just got plopped into this world and are endlessly lost trying to figure it out. Gain knowledge or attach meaning. But the cliffs and the stars and such don't change. They always remain arcane and mysterious, bigger and beyond us. This photo is just an example of that - these capable men traveling to God knows where and seeing god knows what. Makes me think lovecraft's Old Gods arent monsters, but simply stars and black holes. No wonder we came up with angels and demons. Nice song.
I've been feeling very depressed and lonely, especially the past few months. This kind of sounds how it feels most of the time for me, if that makes any sense. Really nice ambient mate
You all need to cheer up.its easy to say i know but in these dark times upon this earth we should all be a little bit more thank full that were alive.because its super fucking short.get yours and be happy.do what ever it takes to reach your true happy place.that sounds kinda lame but there is no life beyond this.that in its self is depressing enough....so fuck everybody but yourself and focus on your happiness....get yours while you can.
Listen to this while reading Thin Air or Dark Matter by Michelle Paver. Modern ghost stories written in an older style, set in the Himalayas / North Pole. It works so well.
My brain can't decide if it wants to decend into a paranoid spiral about what lies in nothingness, or to calm down and ease my worries. Very well put together, and describes my relationship with isolation very well. Thank you.

Am I the only one who associates something positive with this song instead of loneliness? It relaxes me, invites me to dream, and forces me to confront myself. I find myself standing in an endless void where no one can disturb me-no distractions, no people, no tasks-just me in my purest form. It’s a very beautiful feeling. ✨
This is one of the best. It accompanies me for the last four years in my studies. I have got two postgraduate degrees with this music in my headphones. I feel the cold
dude literally the same Ive been listening to this for nearly 4 years and I'll test my last two tests in the next 3 weeks and finally graduate with this music!
Upon hearing this for the first time, i was drawn into it instantly. I can't stop listening to it. It gives me an apocalyptic type of feeling. Like when all hell is breaking loose and you've done something you've never done before, to defend yourself or something like that, but after doing said activity, you're lost in your own thoughts and the world around you goes quiet and this plays in your head. This has honestly pushed me into wanting to work on a novel I've had in mind for a while now. Thank you my good sir, for this beautiful creation ❤️
Typically, when a song gets stuck in my head i always feel like it ruins my brain. But when I remembered this music i felt kind of relaxation in my mind. Thank you for sharing this beautiful music.❤
For years, this has been my go to track for concentrating on tasks at work and helping keep a relaxed mind when dealing with difficult customers and clients. Thank you for the ambience and helping a stressful mind stay calm.
I discovered this video last year, thought it was cool. I've been listening to this almost every night for months. It's flawless. I discovered a great book because of it, one of my favorite podcasts, and I'm still not tired of it.
This type of music isn't for just anyone. I love almost all Dark, deep heavy ambient to set the mood for writing my book about a Serial Killer in what has turned out to be a Supernatural Horror story with different parts going on.
it's like standing in a place watching the transcendental sky...warm wind softly touches your skin...the song of the grass....solitude....and there, watching the sky, you are there with the universe. This is the supreme feeling.
Yes, I have experienced what exactly what you just described, in the mountains in sardinia, and I was drunk, and it was night, sky was full of stars, felt like the gods were watching me or something, very euphoric.
This one really stirs emotions up in me; I find myself intermittently tearing up for what seems to be no reason at all. I like it when certain pieces do that. The 4hz Theta binaural position is a special one to me. It assists in activating and influencing a lot of things, notably "vision", be it physical sight or fantasies of the dreaming mind. It is the storehouse for creative inspiration, as well as the repository for memories, emotions, and sensations. Wild stuff, indeed. The accompanying progressions within the misty musical composition is what I would personally attribute to the cause of my leaping overboard, into the obscure pools of subconscious emotional recollection. Sometimes, the initial vessel of transportation is not enough [4hz binaural frequency] . Everything requires something that provides some form of energy in order for things to properly operate. In this case, it would be ICA's simple, yet very effective artistic touch of what I would consider musical genius, and I believe it deserves more recognition and praise. Thanks for the worthy track, ICA; to your past, present, and future selves: may free will be with you and guide you to tranquility.
I always thought Thomas Köner (and his peers) should have put binaural beats under his atmospheres and here today I find what I wanted 20 years ago. Thanks!
After reading comments I really want to recommend the above artist THOMAS KÖNER. Tomas did these ambients first and way colder/bleaker -just without the binaurals...
Honestly, this is my favorite track of all ambient tracks on youtube. There is just something about it. I feel likes it the anthem for isolation and desolation. Well done.
I have listened to this piece of music four or five times in the past two days. Out of all of your videos on this channel, this is my favorite. The image that accompanies this track is excellent as well. It brings to mind the book ‘The Terror’ by Dan Simmons or even the “Dyatlov Pass Incident “. ✌🏻✊🏻🙏🏻
This is one of the best dark ambient tracks ever made, coupled with the image and the theme its just perfect. Seriously there should be a 10hr version.
I've listened to so many kinds of different sounds to relax. Wind, rain, blizzards (arctic, one of my favorite) spacecraft cabins, binaural sounds.... But that one, with that amazing picture of the old expedition to Elephant Island, that one... OMG, my #1 choice so far. Thank you
The story associated with the picture is a mind bender. Pics and music always become a film in my mind. This story filmed correctly and this music as sound for a scene without dialog, showing the stunning yet bleak beauty of their journey might be pretty cool. One can find nature's beauty in the harshest situations. We had an avalanche coming at us once on an ice climb, very high in the Rockies. Oddly. I was scared at all, I just noticed how beautiful the area was and how powerful the avalanche was. This music would fit that moment in slow motion. I was scared after we didn't die. It took most of our gear away.
the photo reminds me of the 09 (nine) russian hijackers missing in the mysterious 1959 *diatlov* incident. There are documentary videos about it. It's little creepy and desolated.
i am happy i found this. lately, quarantine and university have been killing my head from the aches. and now i can listen to this really soft, non-invasive piece of music that helps me think clearly. infinite thanks, ICA
Far out man ....or bunny 🐰 haha, the people here write some neat stuff here too haha, everyone seems to say it boosts creativity as well, and luv the sounds.
Please, keep this on yt. I keep returning to this piece. There is something here. I can't exactly see what it is but it's like something is missing. I come back every time a memory plays this trick on me or I feel "a missing piece". It allows so much space to think, yet the fog it brings is so thick the mind stops silent, don't know if it makes any sense

I put your stuff on a bluetooth speaker under my pillow, control my breathing, and I go to places... The dreams I have when sleep finally comes...colors, shapes, words which cannot be recalled, only experienced. This is my personal favorite, as I have always felt a spiritual kinship with Antarctica...the duality that the whitest continent is also the darkest...the moon never thaws o'er the austral sea...

Great, here is some background music for my existential crisis.
Pixel Face Same.
You'd think that this would solve everyone's existential crisis.. An existential crisis exists outside of one's "self", it's a "purpose" or place inside orthodox man-made constructs that simply don't exist- Yep, I'm a blast at parties..
The crisis is the solution, when your life becomes the problem. But It matters how you will perceive and act upon it.

There's a lot of us.
The cover fits the music entirely. This combination makes humble and overcomes any seperation of body and mind, which are the usual consequences of our overly protected, complicated and shrill civilization. To be near death means to be more conscious of life. But be aware of the dark abyss into which we look then.
Oh youtube algorithm, you're starting to know me so well..
lol
It used to be really great, then it went to utter crap for years and now it's back to good again.
What I like about this is that it's not monotone ambient, it changes it's tone/pitch. Love it, thanks.

i started listening to this and haven't stopped in 6 years.

Now this right here, is a truly brilliant idea!

What’s that from?

Listening with noise canceling earphones and it feels like my brain is getting massaged 👀
makes me feel like i'm the last survivor of an expedition gone wrong in Antarctica, aimlessly walking through the snow while shadow people stand still in a far distance near the mountains observing my movement.
LMAO !!!!!!! i found that funny on so many different levels.
I love this one. It provides an esoteric pathway for the mind to wander into the mysterious depths of the imagination.

Or you are just fucking nuts
I'm trying to understand it 🤪
@@Fenrir-np9js Its not impossible to the brains psychologically, why would it make them fucking nuts, you sound fucking ignorant
Yeah , It has something powerfull
Nice song.

Only in darkness does light shine the brightest.
Be careful that the darkness does not become your light though brother. No one is immune to evil.

It's the best thing ever when the you have one idea, but the art decides to go in its own direction. Best of luck on the story.

Yes, I have experienced what exactly what you just described, in the mountains in sardinia, and I was drunk, and it was night, sky was full of stars, felt like the gods were watching me or something, very euphoric.
This one really stirs emotions up in me;
I find myself intermittently tearing up for what seems to be no reason at all.
Well put.
I always come back to this one. So peaceful and calm

I listen to this almost daily. Great for concentrating while writing/editing. Love the pic, too.
Dude what the fuck what a find. Your entire bandcamp is something I've been craving for a long while. Thanks for doing what you've done.
