I've got to say, listening to your work in the morning while I'm working on business stuff really gets me in the flow of things. I really like your musical compositions, and I enjoy playing music similar to this myself on piano/guitar. Great use of timing, drone elements, and reverb processing. Kudos!
I was wondering...how do you create these backdrops? I've seen more of them, they're all gorgeous, have this desolate high-tech lonelyness and crisp details.
Thanks! They are generated with Midjourney. Although it's AI and I don't make them from scratch, I come up with the concepts myself and generate to get as close as I can to what's in my head. There are a bunch of ways to add those emotions too. Specifying desolateness, loneliness, melancholy and coming up with an environment that fits those emotions well all result in better and more cohesive outcomes. There is a sort of generic AI look when someone simply puts "cool sci fi art" that doesn't really evoke much emotion and can all look the same. So it's an important step to make sure I'm generating something special that will impact people :)@@renevanderkraats224
Love the description of this. I am a Geology major studying my minerology notes to this. It feels awesome to pretend I'm on a distant, forgotten world in a derelict facility parsing out its geologic secrets. Thank you.
Thank you :) I think connecting and creating an environment of community is important and takes my channel farther than just the content. Glad you’re enjoying the music!
Title: H.O.P.E Sinopsis: In a dystopian 2099 a group of military personnel and research member find a mineral named "HOPE" but when all seems okay the station is cut off from every communication and location system. They start having allucination of beautiful landscape each represented by a childhood memory while in the real plane of existence a creature absorbs their life essence in order to create this mineral and save earth...
Got here by accident and definitely staying. I put this music on headphones and it disconnected me from reality for an hour. It was just ME and the infinity of space. I didn't realize how much I needed such brake from the world. Thank You for that :)
Putting this on for a bit allowed me a much needed, albeit brief, escape from reality. It evokes a sense of being alone, but not necessarily of loneliness; there is an underlying sense of calm, of quiet, beneath it all...
i play space worlds in VRChat and listen to your mixes, this hits me so differently. i passed out while flying my ship in VRChat. I woke up and there i was, alone wandering the stars.
Dude! You consistently bang out highly creative and quality content! It is a lot of work! And not just writing and recording the music but doing the videos too. You keep going machine! :)
Outpost Theta, decays and rusts to an eternal demise, Lost, forlorn, what a crying shame, this did not create emotions of surprise, In its fertile youth it was buzzing and birthing supplies, Dark skies, saddened and engrossed by excruciating pain from the whimpering outpost, Rusted, worthless, unvalued, having served its purpose in the heyday, No allies, the emptiness and silence shriek for companionship, Was this the outpost’s punishment, to be felt abandoned? Everyone walked away, no glances shed a tear, To be tormented by the everlasting darkness, the rust gnawing away towards the heart, time to say goodbye.
I once built an outpost on a dead, rocky planet in a remote blue star system without sentinels in No Man's Sky. I called it Outpost Charon. This thumbnail, reminds me of it. It matches the same feeling of loneliness you could experience by spending time in it, the same dread of being stranded on it without knowing if you are truly alone or not. If something is lurking in the shadows, under the black rocks of that dead and remote planet... Amazing score 🔥
Also your comment reminds me of one of my bases I built on one of those super hostile black and white planets and I built it on the side of a super high cliff with the portal inside so I could teleport there and sit safely inside looking out at the dangerous planet :)
@@Futurescapes-SciFiAmbience thanks dude, I would like too, but sadly my last console, with all my savings, died suddenly two years ago, bringing with it even NMS. I tried a new beginning with my new one, but it doesn't feel the same🥲. Oh well, it has been a long and wonderful run, definitely an experience I'll always remember, especially because I played side by side with my brother
The minimal 'ambience' of this eerie landscape arouses the imagination. The minimalistic effects of the snowflakes (or fallout?), the mists and pulsating red light, makes you not only wonder where this desolate outpost is, was or could be, and what its purpose was and that of those beings who inhabited it, but also of its demise. Intriguing scene and stirring music. Thank you for posting.
This is instant relaxation … the image, music. I effortlessly release tension I had no idea was there. Apparently, I must be visiting here from some dystopian future … Nice, thanks for the SciFi Hit. Best of luck out there & I’ll meet you back @ the base.

Great music and image, the ambience reminds me of the game Cold Fear (2005). I think it's an underrated game, not mentioned a lot. It's older but still good, it's like Resident Evil/Dead Space on a big ship in the middle of the ocean.
To the person reading this, Good Luck! Don't stress, everything will be fine. No matter what difficulty you are facing right now, you can overcome it! You are strong and brave.
One of the biggest least talked about issues that comes with the notion of long term space travel is anxiety stress. Humans are creatures of the earth. And for the greater majority that bare the gifts of sight sound and touch, would likely find space travel to be more than a bit of a challenge. Unlike astronauts that stay in the ISS for periods of time, still in proximity of the earth and its features, traveling to deeper space means entering an environment that lacks the call signs of earth. Space travel even to other worlds means eliminating ones senses. Imagine not having access to the sight of a blue sky. Of breathing natural air, of even hearing normally. Traversing space and venturing to other worlds means stripping ones self to the very things that has attuned our senses by and for that earthly environment which space and other worlds are devoid of. Or put it like this.. imagine being in a smoke filled room with little light, different air pressure all while wearing noise canceling headphones, because you must wear protective space gear on other worlds. Now imagine month after month being in the restrictive environment. will surly play on ones sense nerves and mental stability. Especially when you have to options to return to normality in a timely manner. Immersive simulated experiences will have to be a mainstay, which is why such a thing was implemented on the scifi television series StarTrek. The need for the crew to enter a state of normality when so desired. The holodeck.
Captain's Log, Day 349 The silence is suffocating. It wasn't always like this. There were voices once-laughter, arguments, the hum of life. Now, it’s just the wind sweeping through empty corridors, carrying the faint echo of things I can’t quite remember. We built this outpost as a beacon, a last stand for humanity in the shadow of the Nebula Rift. We thrived here. Or we were supposed to. But they left. All of them. I woke up one morning, and the bunks were empty. No distress signals, no signs of struggle. They just... disappeared. I’ve searched every inch, called out on every frequency. Nothing. The stars look different now. I feel them watching. Whatever happened, I fear I’m next. But I have to know-why am I still here?
Although every single one of your tracks is gonna stick with me for the rest of my life, I thought Whiteout was the peak of sci-fi ambience. And then all of a sudden this ambient gold nugget appeared in my news feed... Is there any chance for us to see a "making of" for any track? Cheers
There's something sad and even haunting about abandoned, derelict buildings. We're faced with something that once had purpose, but no longer does... places once alive with activity, but now dead, quiet, and dark. Perhaps it's a reminder that all things in this universe will ultimately end and all the works of our hands will ultimately disappear. But our hope is beyond this mortal veil in the arms of God; the One who was before the beginning and will be after it ends.
