Thank you very much! I was having fun on my practice pad so thought I'd just bring a snare down and go for it. Had to use the brooms though so as not to wake the sleeping greyhound behind me...
Thank you so much for the very kind words bro. The broomsticks are lovely to play with... I checked out your channel by the way, you're doing well. Have you had any lessons at all? It's great watching you document your journey. We're both on the same path...
@@GeorgeHuttonDrumsno sir no lessons .. what happened, is my father in law was a talented drummer played in many many bands. Really talenred. But he struggled with alcohol, he got sober and stayed sober. But never went back to the drums. I never got to see him play he was my best friend. I came into his life basicly not long after he got sober.. fast forward 18 yrs and he got diagnosed with cancer. In his throat and bones. 14 momths after losing mom .. lost mom and past Christmas and looked like we were gonna lose dad this xmas. Anyways my daughter picked drums at school. And wouldnt you know it.. dad agreed to finally get back on the drums and teach her. 🙌 so we bought her a used acustic set. For christmas excited for her and him.. unfortunately.. dad didnt make it to christmas day. So then come christmas . We just had this big kit sitting in the middle of the living rhat me , nor my partner or the kids know how to play.. But i sat down at the kit .. and decided.. screw it.. imma teach myself so i can then help my kid 💯 And off i went.. i know i dont do things correctly.. but thats okay. Hahaha cuz it sure is fun. Im juat doing it because i discovered that I LOVE IT ❤️ i practice every day, from about 5am till about dinner time, with some breaks depends what i got going on. But i just press rhe spotify ai thing.. and whatever song comes on... off we go.. hahaha 😆 😂 😆 im not too picky with how it comes out. So long as i had fun doing it.. 🙃 chrers my friend. Keep banging them drums! 👌
Thank you so much for sharing your story. It sounds like you and your family have been through a lot of pain and struggle - I'm sorry to hear that. How great it is though that you found the drums amidst it all and that you're there, striving forwards each day - you sir, are an inspiration. If you ever need any help, guidance, whatever - you know where to find me. Keep on grinding buddy!
@GeorgeHuttonDrums just gotta #keepgoing #faith I think through the darkness ( I sit for hours with my eyes closed) I found a lof of answers and healing through the drums 🥁 I can't truly express, how nice that offer you just made is. Thank you for that. ❤️ 💯 ✨️

Next up: bass drum with double kick
I would if I had a double kick pedal. I'll have to do it with a single....uh oh
hokusai
Aye, a classic. The other four brilliant paintings are done by @philironside, the guy who inspired me to start doing the daily "thing" :)
