This is really funny because this is very similar to the prep in course fishing over in the UK minus the eggs and insert carp pellets. 😂

Why are you using golf balls?

You are funny - these are pretty small. You should see the gag bags we use with Capt Joe!

What about storage? Freeze in quart jars?

We always recommend tying spawn sacs the night before. Fresh is always best.

How many drifts are these spawn sacs good for? Or how long submerged do they remain potent? I wanna set some on a bottom rig for coho.

Good question. That all depends on current/water conditions/clarity/etc. There's so many factors. When you see the eggs start to wash out or get white it's time to make a change.

whats the difference between the fire cure and the bor'x o fire cure?

BorX O Fire is a borax based cure and Fire Cure is a sulfite based cure. On the surface borax gives you a drier egg. Sulfite a wetter egg.

Fire cure is better for skein for salmon bc it is really juice and borax fire is better for spawn sacs for trout bc the eggs are stiff and arnt sludgy inside the sac.
