You helped me fix it! When I removed the ice container, I found the system had frosted over preventing ice cube making. Removed the excess frosted ice, wiped it out, reset the blue button, and it's working like a champ again. Thank you!
Mate ice maker not working im my samsyng srf639gdls, and i noticed the buton on the fridge broken . Do you thia the problem even though the water works fine??
My Samsung Model RF27T5201 / RF27T5241 was not making ice, solution: Set the freezer temperature below, 0 F (-18 C ) or - 4 F (- 20 C ) in warn ambient air
This guy is not a refrigerator repair tech. To get the best advice check with a ref. tech. The switch on the side of the ice maker is a harvest switch, to put the ice maker through a cycle, not a "on-off" switch. the way to shut down your ice maker is through the menu, not the harvest cycle switch. If you pull out your water filter, you will still have water to the ice machine and the water fill valve on the front of your machine. The first thing you should check if your ice machine fails, is the condenser on the back of your refrigerator, and verify it is not dirty with animal hair or dust bunnies.

You can switch if to "Water" and make sure you have the expected stream. That will tell you if the filter us clogged or the line is kinked.
Hi. I have same family fridge. I get always error message my ice storage is full... but really empty! Do you have suggest?

Something you want to check is to call Samsung customer service and see if they will replace it for free. Sometimes they do beciase of warranties.
