    I usually start with giving the student's strengths , then weaknesses which need to be improved. Usually, I also translate it into Arabic language since they are not native speakers.Kudos to you!

    sorry, but...NO. The parents are not native speakers.
    These comments :-
    (1) contain too many IDIOMs
    (2) are tooooooo LONG.
    instead, shorter sentences without any idioms.

    • @etacude
      @etacude  2 роки тому

      Right - Actually, I cut out the first part of the video where I actually warn against using idioms and difficult language for the parents' sake. 😅

      @@etacude btw, eric, on ur livestream you mentioned 100 grammar videos. DON“T DO IT.
      (1) you are not good at SIMPLE explanations
      (2) there already hundreds of youtubers who do it
      instead, teach ONE SIMPLE SYSTEM for any grammar,
      better than 100s of INDIVIDUAL & confusing rules

      @@kevtherev8194 I'll think a bout it Kev. It's still some way away. My idea is to share the basic, common pitfalls, examples and then as always, activities to do.

      @@etacude (1) hundreds of youtubers already done it
      (2) long LISTS of rules only confuses students
      (3) instead, teach (a sysrem) HOW to analyze ANY sentence
      e.g. STEP 1: where do we begin with ANY sentence?
      e.g. STEP 2: what is next?
