Hi Mordjana, sorry for the late reply. There are two broad types of motivations: intrinsic and extrinsic. Start slow and give them interesting questions to answer. Also, try to make the content interesting to them by focusing on topics that they might enjoy. In class you want your students to do most of the talking so use many pair and group activities.
