Kapi44 trust me, he's only showing us footage that he did get alot of kills because there are times when youre running to objectives or you just dont find anyone.
Yep. I'm playing PC lately and it's a sweatfest - everyone is super good and if you make a mistake in positioning or you're not moving into tight cover often, you're gonna get picked off super fast. In a lot of youtube videos I see, it seems like people are stupid NPCs just standing around like ducks to get shot in the head. I know it's cherry-picked footage but jeez.. makes everything look so easy.
Welcome to the Battlefield. That's a feature back from the first BF with the Frostbyte engine and will continue like that till they develop a new engine.
maybe you are moving around or getting supressed it happens maybe you werent on target at all ..try to record your gameplay so you can see where you messed up
Chicken Nugger dude I was playing today and came behind a guy and somehow the game swung me around and the guy was like WTF and blew me away and before he did I said my Hail Marys
Chicken Nugger for some reason getting a shot and using melee gets me a takedown and probing before hitting the knife nets me a takedown and of course from behind or the side
Thanks for posting these videos. I was having such a hard time getting used to the game because i have never played batllefield. now that i watched this, it has been a huge help! thank you!
This is probably the best tutorial video for sniping in BF and BF1 I've ever seen. I myself am not a novice, but there's a lot of great points made here, and some routine ones that are very helpful to be reminded of.
krash2002 I know right? I just could never get the feel for sniping in other battlefields but in 1 it's just so satisfying to pop a guy in the head. He dies and has no idea where you were.
I really like your commentary man, it's very casual but manages to stay informative. You sound like kind of a goof, lol. Keep it up man i'm subbing for sure
Hey man, I just wanted to take the time to tell you how well put together your video is. I really enjoyed the video and actually watched the full thing. Just wanted to tell you to keep it up because people out here are enjoying your content. You got a New subscriber.
this helped me sooo much. I switched over from cod to battlefield 1, and in bf1 I tried to quick scope but I was always going negative. but ever since this video I go to higher ground, prone, then snipe. nobody usually kills me. one match I went 14-1
Dat Boi welcome man I get wanting a good k/d but since your playing scout cover the objective for the team and shoot your spotting flairs so points can be capped that is if you arent already doing that stuff
Looks like you respond to everyone's questions so here goes. A. What is your favorite fast food? B. Best show on television? Talent you have other than video games?
Another tip: for those who want to look cool , use the Carbine Snipers, you can literally go into the front lines and wreck everything . When I first unlocked my first scout carbine , I got a 14 killstreak without dying in the front lines( I recommend Sinai Desert for this tactic) it really helps your team and it's a little different from other sniper rifles .
so I just redownloaded Battlefield one because I had the urge to play it. The first game I joined into, i ran 10 ft forward got sniped I then proceeded to equip smoke grenades and spawn on an objective. immediately i was suppressed by a sniper, I threw my smoke grenades towards the sniper then got shot by another sniper to the other side of me. I respawned yet again on the far side of the map trying to flank towards an uncontested objective halfway there I was sniped by someone all the way at the end of the map by the enemy Spawn sitting on a hill behind a bush. I respawned on one of my squad mates that was about to enter a fight, the gunfight was pretty crazy it was probably three of us and three of them and then more of our teammates ran to help and the same with their side and once there was only about 4 of us left and 1 of them, two snipers on the other side of the map killed all of my teammates that were there including me. I then proceeded to exit the game and delete Battlefield 1 for the same reason I deleted it in the first place
For some reason I find it really hard to upgrade the weapon classes. Has this been patched to make it harder now, I usually get at least 25+ kills with the scout class and I'm still only at level 2
Great work, I'm transitioning from Call of Duty and the bullet drop, playing obj, strategic positioning is totally new to me LOL. Thanks for the help. I've been here since 12K
ProbablyWorse- welcome! ive been apart of bf for over 4 yrs. im happy to have new players here. on the condition that new players understand its about team work, and its not as simple as running and gunning. spotting is also really helpful! again welcome!
afatcow123 is right. Teamwork and playing the objective are the two most important things you can do in Battlefield. Thanks for watching and I'm glad this video helped :)
The increased bullet drop must be MORE than cancelled out by the increased bullet velocity. There's seems to be effectively no bullet drop at all in BF1 compared to BF4, even at long ranges.
It's not quite as sever, but it IS there. Out at 125+/-, you will need to adjust your rifles zero to compensate for bullet drop, anything within that range you'll likely not have to lead quite as much. It has taken me quite some time to get used to the mechanics in BF1, but once you got it, you'll be picking players off left and right. My favorite thing to do right now though, is to run with an infantry variant of one of the rifles. The SMLE is my most favorite so far, but I dearly hope they bring an infantry version of the Springfield into the game eventually (no, that abomination of a gun, the "Experimental" does not count.)
As someone who can't change their distance on their rifle because the button is broken, it's still there but it happens more at a distance then it did before because of the bullet drag.
Thanks mate. Actually helped me a lot I play a lot of call of duty and jumped over to b1 and I always panicked when there was a group but now I'm more calm and getting a bunch of kills! Thank you :)
Let's clear out a thing: if you are a sniper or a gunner who is defending a position and is shooting at enemy as they charge as you - while being exposed to retaliation by other snipers/gunners, mortars, fixed positions, tanks, Assaults with their rocket gun, etc - you are not a camper. And if you are doing your job right, you may even be able to hold objectives single-handedly and significantly help your team win the game. A camper is a player who sits in a location where he can avoid detection and only fires when he can avoid retaliation. In this game, he's the guy sitting in that corner with the 12ga or the MP18 kneecapping people while making a SPM which is laughable. Of course he's not much of a problem in Battlefield because you can always BLOW UP HIS GODDAMN CORNER from the outside, but stil...
Would have liked to have seen you sniping on fao fortress or Sinai desert to show how much to aim up over someone from a distance to hit them. But solid video. :)
Already know this stuff, but f it it's Average!!! Great commentary btw I have noticed your commentary getting better and clearer over the past year!!!😸😸😸😸
Dude this video is really good, it's really nice to listen to someone who sounds like a human being Instead of youtube or twitch try hard. Subscribed. Superb advice
I really, really, REALLY want to get into Battlefield 1 in general, but I just get demolished by toxic people camping in corners, (I play on PC) and it's absolutely no fun where you take 2 steps to try and kill someone and you're dead. Instantly. I decided that maybe if I get out of the way as a sniper, I might have a bit more fun, I see all these videos on UA-cam about people hitting even just regular shots, when I can't hit shit. Literally, as I'm quite new to battlefield 1, I have the SMLE Mark III, and I bought the Gewerh or whatever it's called, and I juts get focused down so hard, when I play a sniper, I still just die instantly from other snipers who are much better than me. I also find that my mouse is much too shaky and I miss easy shots. Please, do you have any tips? I'm so bad at the game...
Also in all these clips, I see people standing still, pretty easy kills and whatever game I'm in EVERYONE is ALWAYS moving. I can't lead my shots for shit either. I see you sitting out in the open, picking off people when if I were to do that, I would get shot, instantly.
Hmmmm I play on both PC and Console and there is a small difference in how people play but not by much. I pretty much have the same experience across both platforms. I wish I had some tips for you on this one but all I can think of is maybe you need to find some squadmates to work with who are more supportive. I always do MUCH better when I have a good squad of friends protecting, healing, and working together.
What game modes do you usually play? Because I tend to have similar experiences when playing regular conquest with spawns and enemy positions being so chaotic at times, but operations I find is a lot more enjoyable. You don't have to worry about watching your back too much and enemy snipers are way more predictable when they're all on one side. Especially on defense. But I play on console so I guess my experiences are tad different. My buddy plays on PC and he's told me that there's a lot more toxicity during games. All I can say weapon wise is maybe experiment a little as you progress through. Find a variant you like and unlock different rifles in that class to see which one performs best to your liking. And if you find yourself in a sniping dual or you feel that your positioned is compromised, simply find a new one. Keep moving and keep your enemies guessing. Hope this helps!
I usually play Team Deathmatch or Conquest rarely. And when it comes to unlocking new guns it's hard, because to unlock guns, you need to level up so you get Warbonds, to level up you need to be terrible, like me.
It helps your team if you spot the enemies that youre not shooting.. Remember, it's Battlefield everyone; The Q key is your team's friend (if youre on PC. i dont know what it is on consoles, but USE IT!)
Agreed although spotting seems very finicky in this game. sometimes I will have to hit spot 3-4 times before it finally registers and it is hard to tell which distances will not allow me to spot. It is frustrating!
xMxH i noticed they have to be in clear view not in fog or moving past a lot of objects for it to work which is cool its easier for you to get past people without everyone knowing where you are like past battlefields
Good video. I've been a fairly successful run and gun type player for years and only recently decided to try out sniping. I'm hooked. I'm not getting the kinds of kills I used to with my old playing style, but I'm improving. As far as Battlefield 1 goes, I'm loving the Martini-Martin.
ua-cam.com/video/586hEUov-zI/v-deo.html Apparently you got X on xbox also. But isn't people moving a lot more on PC than console? Like from that part, everyones just laying on the bridge.
Funny story. I played PC the other day and got a 7 man kill feed by guys laying on and around the bridge on Argonne Forest. Don't kid yourself. There are noobs on PC and Console alike. I have an excellent gaming PC and can run 120 FPS on Ultra so I enjoy PC gaming, but my friends play on XB1 so I prefer to play with them. I don't notice much of a difference between Console and PC in regards to how players play. There are noobs on Console and there are noobs on PC and it blows my mind when people that only play PC look down on Console players based on some UA-cam video. Not trying to offend you or anything just saying. I play them all and it's all pretty much the same except for better graphics on PC obviously.
Cool. My prejudice is only based on the controller. Like it feels like it should be harder to aim and move at the same time with a controller, but I'm pretty much biased since I've got almost no experience with fps on consoles. But then again, it should be harder to shoot the guy laying on the ground... I don't know. Cool video anyways, gon try these things when I get home! :)
Thanks man. It was the opposite for me. I grew up Console gaming but when I got myself a nice gaming rig and learned to use the keyboard and mouse it was hard for me to believe how people are better with them than a controller. I now prefer the keyboard and mouse but when I was learning I was still MUCH better with the controller. Believe me, those guys that ONLY use controllers are complete beasts with them. In fact there are still some movements and actions that only seem possible while using a controller... but the same goes for keyboard and mouse. They can both be deadly tools if placed in the right hands.
Im a veteran of BF4, Hardline, and now 1... sniping is what i do best at, im already lvl 30 scout and havent used the other classes, i recommend finding a good spot where you can comfortably snipe, use your Flare gun as it highlights enemies on your minimap for you and your team in spots where they are likely alot of people, and spot everything that moves, like planes, horses, etc. Also practice with each rifle, get used to the bullet velocity, leading targets, and you'll see yourself getting on top of the leaderboard... usually
Don't panic doesn't mean play slow, it means don't miss your shot because you're freaking out. It could mean different things for different people. Also these clips are from PC and XB1. I play both.
False, keeping your cold blood help alot when sniping. Doenst mean to play slow but just to calm down and wait for the good moment. The window may be smaller on PC but you still have to wait for them.
Great video and tips! I think knowing your gun is the most important tip you gave. I can't hit anything with a scoped rifle in this game to save my life. I got the Martini just using the Gewehr 95 with radium sights as my primary weapon. Took me awhile, but I gave up on any scoped rifle because it's so frustrating in this game.
Try lowering your zoom sensitivity and I bet the scoped rifles will be better. (I'm the opposite, I suck with iron sights but I can do work with a scope.)
great video! I've been sniping for years and been playing red Orchestra over the last 10 years and sniping in bf1 is very similar. expect bf1 is alot more fast pasted. one thing I wood add is alway relocate after a few kills or after being killed. so many snipers get slaughtered constantly camping the same spot.
ShallowDepression well it would be good for them but it changes for me when it feels like im watching pitchmen like shamwow guy selling towels. plus the heavyweight youtubers are getting stale.
Them getting access early would be good if it didnt come with an implied, but often not spoken "you better not talk shit about our game or all these goodies you are getting like free trips, early access and such go away"
The bullet drop per second may have increased, but because the muzzle velocity has also been increased the bullet will travel further in a second, so it will feel pretty similar to sniping in previous battlefield games.
Uwot Matte trench war lol. go play verdun. then you get trench war. no one even touches trenches in this game. this has the least trench war in any world war game ever. especially for world war one. it is soo innacurate.
Frontline Fern6 yeah it's a fun game no doubt about that. But it feels just like battlefront and it got boring after a couple of matches. I would choose MWR over this any day tbh
You are the kind of scout I wish I had on my squad. Biggest difference I notice is that you are mobile. Capturing objectives is the name of the game. So many times I have seen snipers sit 100m before the initial spawn point and go 2/9 with 1500 points in a round of Conquest. I will be following your channel for scout tips, you got a sub!
Another tip, lower/raise your sensitivity for your scopes, your sniping, not assaulting, you have some time to line the shot up precisely . Battlefield has a neat feature in it wear you can change how sensitive your aim is for each zoom level a long with a BUNCH of different settings. Go to settings > controls > advanced then change the zoom for the scope your using to fine tune it to your liking. I was having issues with my scope "skipping" over someone, changed the sensitivity and now its much easier to line up shots and track targets.
Oh yeah, then change the hit colors so you know if you had a headshot, hit, or kill easily. Gotta love how dice does their shit even if their games have issues the first month
You're literally the best sniper ever! You've used to dominated in Battlefield Hardline and now you're here in Battlefield 1! I've been a fan since you made BFH sniping videos, sniping in BF1 is relatively tougher than in Battlefield Hardline. Also, you're channel had grown since then...
What kind of magnification do you use with iron sights? Also, what's your preferred magnification for the Russian 1895 sniper? Would you say that using any kind of infantry variant is worthwhile, or just stick with Marksman/Sniper? Great work by the way, you're a good shot:)
your right about the getting the feel of your sniper I use the russian 1895 infantry, sniper and trench depends on the map and its a really awesome lever gun and fun to use.
is the martini Henry the best rifle? Any opinions, I am new to battlefield, currently level 9 scout/ level 3 medic. Which rifles are best for medics/scouts. Thanks, I appreciate it.
Excellent video.. Many times I find myself playing the objective alone, hate that.. Difficult to find a good squad where all members play their roles and follow the objective and that is a lot of fun!
I don't quite understand the theory behind the sweet spot. Shouldn't the sweet spot be from 0 up to the end of the sweet spot range? I mean when you shoot someone at point blank range, shouldn't the bullet kill with a single shot?
jaideep chahal . The only point where the bullet accelerates is inside the barrel. Once it's out of the barrel it has to fight against air resistance and slows down. All bullets have the highest velocity right after it exists the barrel. Unless if you're taking about self propelled ones like missiles which obviously build up speed later
Someone said that this is realistic because when a bullet is going very fast it will pass through the enemy, whereas if it starts to slow down and it hits its target and STAYS in the enemy it can do more damage. This is only way it seems realistic to me, assuming that is correct.
The Average Sniper The Average Sniper even I've thought about it. But then now you're taking about stopping power (i miss modern warfare 1's perk) and it depend on either hitting the vital organs instead of the flesh, how the bullet enters, the grain size etc. I'm guessing it has more to do with just balancing out this amazing game since if you check previous Battlefields charts on snipers you'll see that the damage graph just keeps reducing from 100 over a distance. And btw, great content. Keep it coming!
am absolute rubbish at battlefield what is the best sniper gun to get also are you aiming above there heads when firing.....also how do you quick scope ?
I play on PC. I get swamped as soon as I spawn in and in a 15 minute or so game of conquest on any map, I always get like 5-8 kills tops and around 20-30 deaths. I can never position my mouse smoothly either. I can't follow a players movement while aiming unless they are a foot away and even then I've missed enemy players standing still right infront of me and often someone poppes up behind me as I'm about to get a kill and slaughteres me so quick. I end up in games with many lvl 80+ while I'm below lvl 10.
start lowering ur sensetivity a lot it makes it feel terrible but ur actually gonna be able to follow them and even get ec headshots. also what helps me is to go to the edges of the area so u wont get killed from behind and can focus on 1 side and stop rushing and camp a little more and use ur team to know where ur team is not to know where the enemy is
Didn't see this question in the comments. Can you talk a little about the "V" button while sniping. It allows you in some cases to change the meters from 75,150,300. What do you keep yours at, and under what situations? Thanks.
This video was very helpful. I like sniping but the leading usually messes me up. Thank you for informing me of the new system in play. Also I would like to thank you for keeping the idea of being strategic and strategic placement separate as some people think they are one and the same.
Holy freak dude, you're a great sniper! I just barely started playing scout and I freaking love it! I suck.... but I love it. I feel like I am in Enemy at the Gate.
WHO DO YOU PLAY WITH? That is something I ask in basically every one of these tips or guides videos online. There were multiple parts there when the enemy player, sometimes a sniper even, was staring at you for like 5 seconds, and didnt shoot once. In the games I play, snipers take about 1 second or less to aim, and hit pretty much every shot, so these stand offs where you stare at each other never happen. What to do?
I had battle field 1 for 3 months when my friend gave it to me for my birthday, but just 3 days ago I got online and fell in love with the gameplay, thing is that I suck at the game, scour and medic are my 2 favorite classes tho
Thanks for the help. Im great at assault, so support and medic shouldnt be too bad to level up. Im not the best sniper though so I'm gonna try and level that up now!
The Russian 1895 Sniper is my favourite. I've gotten over a hundred kills with it and a service star. But I still like to freshen my memory on the tips.
Idk if I'm a fan of sniping in this game. I get bored staying in one spot for more than 15 sec, I love aggressive sniping it's my playstyle. Do you have any recommendations for the 'best' loadout for aggressive sniping?
you get more kills in 1 minute than what i get in a 30 minute round. that just proves how shit i am lol
Kapi44 use the martini Henry it'll make u get crazy amount of kills
Kapi44 The Gewher 98 infantry and Gewher M95 infantry are also pretty good iron sight sniper rifles.
Kapi44 lol :)
Kapi44 trust me, he's only showing us footage that he did get alot of kills because there are times when youre running to objectives or you just dont find anyone.
Kapi44 lol he cuts the video and put all his best shots in one
wth all his targets are just standing still, but when I try to snipe everyone is moving like crazy.
I have the same problem
He plays on Xbox
It's not camping its sniping
Peace Sniper but that's what snipers are supposed to do
Peace Sniper but that's what snipers are supposed to do
A camper is the one hiding behind the door to shotgun tons of players in a row. A sniper is a patient hunter.
snipers: from a place you will never see comes a sound you will never hear (i hate the kill cam that gives away my position).
Then play hardcore in custom games.
you should call yourself expert sniper instead
LOL thanks man
np
and i like the russian 1895 best
I've only watched part of the video but have you turned the kill log on?
Nah, I don't like the kill feed. I'm glad to not be distracted by it.
true
Thx man! This really helped me out since I'm new to this franchise. You earned a new subscriber.
Btw your really good in sniping
Thanks man I'm glad this video helped!
Your comment is average. Actually, much less so.
Hmm... perhaps I should change my name to ImCasualSniper then? Is Average not cutting it anymore? Damn!
lmao!
I feel like the shots don't hit sometimes
Welcome to the Battlefield. That's a feature back from the first BF with the Frostbyte engine and will continue like that till they develop a new engine.
*Frostbite :)
Morris Lam Yeah that one. Pretty to look at but problematic when it comes to fps games.
I feel like that too sometimes
maybe you are moving around or getting supressed it happens maybe you werent on target at all ..try to record your gameplay so you can see where you messed up
Do one on melee combat, I swear there is a secret, every melee fight I get in ends with me dead unless I came from behind
Chicken Nugger dude I was playing today and came behind a guy and somehow the game swung me around and the guy was like WTF and blew me away and before he did I said my Hail Marys
Chicken Nugger for some reason getting a shot and using melee gets me a takedown and probing before hitting the knife nets me a takedown and of course from behind or the side
get a better melee weapon mabey?the 1st knife you start with is not great.
get a better melee weapon mabey?the 1st knife you start with is not great..
My advice is to use a heavy blade weapon like the shovel, pickaxe, kukri, meat cleaver because these do a lot of damage
Thanks for posting these videos. I was having such a hard time getting used to the game because i have never played batllefield. now that i watched this, it has been a huge help! thank you!
Great videos these actually help me become a better sniper and I enjoy now more than ever
Awesome man! I'm glad to hear that
This is probably the best tutorial video for sniping in BF and BF1 I've ever seen. I myself am not a novice, but there's a lot of great points made here, and some routine ones that are very helpful to be reminded of.
Thanks man I appreciate that! Especially coming from someone who already snipes in Battlefield.
I must say. Out of all the other BF's, and other shooters out there. Sniping in BF1 feels so gosh darn sexy when killing your mark.
krash2002 I know right? I just could never get the feel for sniping in other battlefields but in 1 it's just so satisfying to pop a guy in the head. He dies and has no idea where you were.
Whenever i find a nice strategic spot to snipe, i always instantly get counter-sniped
Sounds like it's not the most strategic spot then ;)
I like that your personality is very mild and straight to the point, unlike a lot of big UA-camrs. Subscribed
Thanks man! I appreciate that alot
You are one of the best snipers i have ever seen in bf1 👌🏻
Well thank you!
I really like your commentary man, it's very casual but manages to stay informative. You sound like kind of a goof, lol. Keep it up man i'm subbing for sure
Thanks man I'm a total goof. lol ;)
man you are actually REALLY good!
Thanks man!
dont say that, his beard will start rippling lol, see that guy run over you when you were shooting the zepplin??? wtf
Hey man, I just wanted to take the time to tell you how well put together your video is. I really enjoyed the video and actually watched the full thing. Just wanted to tell you to keep it up because people out here are enjoying your content. You got a New subscriber.
Wow thanks man! I appreciate that and I'm glad you found my channel

levitate x go back to cod, we don't want you sniping on bf
No need for negativity. We should welcome new players, and show them the correct way.
Welcome man
Dat Boi welcome man I get wanting a good k/d but since your playing scout cover the objective for the team and shoot your spotting flairs so points can be capped that is if you arent already doing that stuff
THANK YOU FINALLY SOMEONE SMART WHO KNOWS THAT CAMPING WITH A SNIPER IS SNIPING
Looks like you respond to everyone's questions so here goes. A. What is your favorite fast food? B. Best show on television? Talent you have other than video games?
I just came across this video, listed to all you said, and just put them into play in a game and OMG my game play improved. Thanks for the video
Another tip: for those who want to look cool , use the Carbine Snipers, you can literally go into the front lines and wreck everything . When I first unlocked my first scout carbine , I got a

Transitioning from CS:GO to BF was a pretty steep learning curve, so thanks for this video! Was a huge help.
Glad to hear that :)
#1 rule of battlefield be you a noob or pro. PTFO PLAY THE FUCKING OBJECTIVE.
Yes.
Rule #2 should be communicate with your team. Every game I've played is dead silent. Kinda takes the camaraderie out of it.
very helpful, i have sniped through all the battlefields, other classes as well of course, but i still found this helped me just getting in to BF1
how can I get chicks in bf1
Play war pigeons.
Aaxonz lol
iducatifan1 step one. Stop plaing
You don't. We stay quiet, off mic. lol
in world war chicks???r u crazy bro 😂😂are they weapons or wa?
so I just redownloaded Battlefield one because I had the urge to play it.
The first game I joined into, i ran 10 ft forward got sniped I then proceeded to equip smoke grenades and spawn on an objective. immediately i was suppressed by a sniper, I threw my smoke grenades towards the sniper then got shot by another sniper to the other side of me.

I then proceeded to exit the game and delete Battlefield 1 for the same reason I deleted it in the first place
How do you know how many meters there away to kill them
XxBattlefiledxX 1 you can use flags as a reference. They’ll have the distance listed when you look at them
Educated guess is the key my friend.
U use the trench scope, its also good for lookin around without scope glint
I am fairly new to bf1 I watched a few of your vids and improved dramatically you give really good tips!
For some reason I find it really hard to upgrade the weapon classes. Has this been patched to make it harder now, I usually get at least 25+ kills with the scout class and I'm still only at level 2
Ryan McGrory it's not kills its points itself with the class pto and you'll be there I went from 0-10 in a day
It took me about a day of playing with the Scout class to get it to level 10, so I don't think it's any harder.
Great work, I'm transitioning from Call of Duty and the bullet drop, playing obj, strategic positioning is totally new to me LOL. Thanks for the help. I've been here since 12K

it depends on what you're using, bullet drop is extremely noticeable on LMG's especially the Lewis gun
As someone who can't change their distance on their rifle because the button is broken, it's still there but it happens more at a distance then it did before because of the bullet drag.
alexolife yeah I actually noticed that
Thanks mate.
Agree
lol wont stop ppl from calling u campers in game
Nice video. I am absolutely hopeless at sniping in this game (any game for that matter) but it's very satisfying to pull off a kill.
Would have liked to have seen you sniping on fao fortress or Sinai desert to show how much to aim up over someone from a distance to hit them. But solid video. :)
Well I have an entire video dedicated to that here: ua-cam.com/video/5-VlyxcngLE/v-deo.html
Great information layout, real time time comments to footage, and good relative informative with decent pacing. Subscribed, good video!
Thanks man glad you enjoyed :)
Already know this stuff, but f it it's Average!!! Great commentary btw I have noticed your commentary getting better and clearer over the past year!!!😸😸😸😸
Thanks man! I think I am just finding my commentary style. Glad you noticed :)
The Average Sniper no probs
Thanks for the reply, but no one I know has Battlefield 1, I know one guy and he can't play for a while, and he's a bit of a prick.
That was very insightful. I tend to play Medic most the time but sniping is a guilty pleasure. Going to try these things next time!
Medic has some good guns with some sniper scopes
It helps your team if you spot the enemies that youre not shooting..
Remember, it's Battlefield everyone; The Q key is your team's friend
(if youre on PC. i dont know what it is on consoles, but USE IT!)
It's RB on consoles. Wear that button out until you need a new controller
Christopher Gongora I just think that might be why people don't use it as often because it seems like it wont work half the time.
Brazil here! This video os great! I'm new in bf1, and your tips are really useful! Thx
im such a mediocre sniper ... good sniping is like black magic to me - i dont get it. i prefer the dmr of the medic ..
I snipe better with the sweeper than an actual sniper, you're not alone
@@zaphy7210 lol, well 4 years later - i dont want to brag, but im kinda nailing it now xD
That clip were you defend bravo by yourself and take out about eight guys with the martini-henry infantry with ironsights- beautiful.
Rank 10 in one day? WTF?!
Yeah I love this game. Took a vacation from work on release day for a week just to play it non-stop
ive already seen a level 66 like how??
I think I'm level 67 actually
The ranking was bugged for a few weeks. after lvl 5, you needed 1/10 the needed xp to level up.
Seeker I thought he was Rank 10 on the sniper class in 1 day. I got to rank 12 in one day.
Good video. I've been a fairly successful run and gun type player for years and only recently decided to try out sniping. I'm hooked. I'm not getting the kinds of kills I used to with my old playing style, but I'm improving. As far as Battlefield 1 goes, I'm loving the Martini-Martin.
Glad to hear that man and yes the Martini Henry is a beast
First I thought "Why is everyone just standing still, this is easy sniping" then I saw it was on ps.
These clips are from PC and XB1. Awkward...
ua-cam.com/video/586hEUov-zI/v-deo.html Apparently you got X on xbox also.
Also practice with each rifle, get used to the bullet velocity, leading targets, and you'll see yourself getting on top of the leaderboard... usually
btw spot enemies, if you wanna help your team
Going from 1000m kills in BF4 to 300m kills in BF1 took a lot of getting used to. Great video man.
Dude you make it look to damn easy I'll give it a try again lol!
Go for it!
i was thinking the exact same thing..lol
Good video mate, great skill. People aren't safe even on the Zepplin when you are in the server.
LOL thanks man
+ The Average sniper. Do you play on Xbox 1?
You cant play that slow on pc... The dont panic tip wont help here cuz you die in like a sixth of a second
Definetly true.
I was awesome at bf4 sniping but I suck in this one :(
Dan Garwood Lol I was shit at BF4 sniping but I'm good at BF1 sniping.
Same
great video!
I've been sniping for years and been playing red Orchestra over the last 10 years and sniping in bf1 is very similar. expect bf1 is alot more fast pasted. one thing I wood add is alway relocate after a few kills or after being killed. so many snipers get slaughtered constantly camping the same spot.
im so sick of levelcap and matimio and jackfrags. swear they are on dice payroll
So what's wrong with that?
ShallowDepression well it would be good for them but it changes for me when it feels like im watching pitchmen like shamwow guy selling towels. plus the heavyweight youtubers are getting stale.
Gooba Jungle Boy True, but they get access to stuff before anyone else, so I like that part of it.
Them getting access early would be good if it didnt come with an implied, but often not spoken "you better not talk shit about our game or all these goodies you are getting like free trips, early access and such go away"
quit hating bruhh
Thanks man! love your commentary
this game needs hardcore. tired of seeing 89 or 90 and the fuck just keeps running, but until then, im Billy Bishop
I saw a teaser for Hardcore mode on the Battlefield Facebook page.
they have hardcore adjust settings bro.
Pharoah Yeah and no servers could be found
Smh.
Mr MoJo Risin will they add hardcore?
The bullet drop per second may have increased, but because the muzzle velocity has also been increased the bullet will travel further in a second, so it will feel pretty similar to sniping in previous battlefield games.
in a nutshell the bullet drop will feel similar to previous games.
Lemon Flavoured Bleach the bullet slows down over time. its not a constant velocity anymore.
+andus garza yes you are right but still the drop will still feel the same at shorter ranges.
i'm so glad the internet has people like you to tell us exactly what was already told in the video. Good job! :)))
Battlefield 4 is better. Although this one is pretty fun, it gets boring after a couple of matches.
Anthony Martinez maybe its not your style. i love trench war... on gaming of course. the game is so good at transmitting the horrors of war
Uwot Matte trench war lol. go play verdun. then you get trench war. no one even touches trenches in this game. this has the least trench war in any world war game ever. especially for world war one. it is soo innacurate.
Anthony Martinez really? I can play this all day and never get bored
Frontline Fern6 yeah it's a fun game no doubt about that. But it feels just like battlefront and it got boring after a couple of matches. I would choose MWR over this any day tbh
Anthony Martinez sadly for me cod just died right now im just playing battlefield and overwatch
I love that you play Approaching Nirvana as background music. ^.^ Reminds me of Ectosage.
1:20 nice snipe I've hit them a few times in the pods , tried for the guys on top of the zepplin
It also really helps, seen in this video, when the people who are engaging are completely oblivious.
I noticed that. The sensitivity settings are sick.
Thanks man and thanks for sticking around for so long. I'm glad you are enjoying the videos :)
+The Average Sniper No problem, amigo.
I don't play sniper much but I do enjoy it when I do. There is something very satisfying about sniper kills in this game.
Nice vid man! Some sweet shots you got there.
What kind of magnification do you use with iron sights? Also, what's your preferred magnification for the Russian 1895 sniper?
Would you say that using any kind of infantry variant is worthwhile, or just stick with Marksman/Sniper?
Great work by the way, you're a good shot:)
I use 2x on iron sights, 6x for Russian, and I rarely use the infantry variants unless it's the Martini Henry. And thanks man!
This was the best sniping video it really helped! Good job
Your accuracy is god like!! I wish i could get there! Love the videos keep it up!! Hope I get to see you on the battlefield
Thanks man! Keep practicing and keep sniping. You will see your accuracy improve greatly if that's all you do.
your right about the getting the feel of your sniper I use the russian 1895 infantry, sniper and trench depends on the map and its a really awesome lever gun and fun to use.
is the martini Henry the best rifle? Any opinions, I am new to battlefield, currently level 9 scout/ level 3 medic. Which rifles are best for medics/scouts. Thanks, I appreciate it.
Just started bf1 today I’ve played bf4 quite a bit, thanks for the guide hope to see you before you see me in game 😀
I already new all of these things, but I still found it helpful. u just earned a sub
Well thank you!
Excellent video.. Many times I find myself playing the objective alone, hate that.. Difficult to find a good squad where all members play their roles and follow the objective and that is a lot of fun!
If my team is not playing the objective... it's not a good game lol
I'm new to Battlefield and this video was great! Thanks man
I'm glad it helped and thanks for watching!
Hey thanks for the tips and web site to compare weapons. It really helped out. Lol. Look forward to new videos. 75 kill streak was insane.
I don't quite understand the theory behind the sweet spot. Shouldn't the sweet spot be from 0 up to the end of the sweet spot range? I mean when you shoot someone at point blank range, shouldn't the bullet kill with a single shot?
Initial velocity isn't the same as max, the bullet accelerates from initial to max instead of starting out as max hence a minimum range greater than 0
jaideep chahal .
Im a halo player transitioning to battlefield, and i have done quite well at first, but now i do even better with these tips thx!
Glad to hear that man!
I bet this will help a lot, I panic a lot and thanks for menchning all the things to do to be a sniper in battlefield
Amazing tips for sniping. I'll remember these. thank you alot keep it up.
I end up in games with many lvl 80+ while I'm below lvl 10.
start lowering ur sensetivity a lot it makes it feel terrible but ur actually gonna be able to follow them and even get ec headshots. also what helps me is to go to the edges of the area so u wont get killed from behind and can focus on 1 side and stop rushing and camp a little more and use ur team to know where ur team is not to know where the enemy is
that was some perfect grammar XD
Didn't see this question in the comments. Can you talk a little about the "V" button while sniping. It allows you in some cases to change the meters from 75,150,300. What do you keep yours at, and under what situations? Thanks.
I just found your video that explains this all!!! Great channel!!!
Glad you found the vid, I was just about to give you the link. And thanks!
Coming back to bf1. And this vid helps. I dont panic and most of the time im just cruising through enemies.
After all that work you put in, you got my sub
Thanks man!
Thanks a LOT. I was literally dying all the time. This video really learned me some new tricks and things to do. :D Liked and subbed ^^
Glad it helped man!
what would you say is a good sniping sensitivity? (Nvm, found your video)
Quick question. Do you steady your scope? Wondering if I should be using stead scope or just hit those shots. Thanks!
What to do?
Damn that's awesome sniping right there! What kind of gaming chair do you have?
I had battle field 1 for 3 months when my friend gave it to me for my birthday, but just 3 days ago I got online and fell in love with the gameplay, thing is that I suck at the game, scour and medic are my 2 favorite classes tho
I personally have improved so much by not panicking that is one of the key thing to do as any player sniper run and gun or any others
