There have been a lot of comments asking me to mention the Mars Automatic. It's damage at range is decent but it also has the slowest time to kills in the game. So it can be a decent gun for followup kills at range but if you're looking for a sidearm to do some real damage real fast, the Mars is literally the worst choice in the game. It has a unique play style but I doubt the average player is going to get much use out of it compared to the guns I have recommended in this video. But please I encourage you to do your own testing and see if it fits your play style.
This is actually me, not trolling, I've got 129 Kolibri kills, and the Legendary Hummingbird skin for it. Great way to have fun dicking around, and humiliate your opponents. The Kolibri kills are my back dog tag.

Sometimes he just lists guns that have the fastest fire rate. There's plenty of guns that have a medium fire rate that make up for it because of damage

I don't know how they haven't figured out how to balance LMGs properly yet, they literally did it with the Snipers, why not set it so they do lower damage up close giving the edge too the SMGs and do more damage at distances say 30 to 80 or something, giving them a sweet spot just like the snipers, now they aren't SMGs with more bullets and a set up LMG is actually a high priority target.
No mention of the c96? Both you and Matimio I see just spamming your Selbstadlers up close when playing Medic, but whenever I play medic, I always swap to the broomhandle when inside a building. It has a long reload, but with all 10 rounds, i find it to be a great sidearm up close, saving my Mondragon for long-mid range.

The P08 outclasses the 1911. It is only 4 damages points less per shot with higher rate of fire and more rounds in the mag. Just sayin', you didn't mention it once.
Wouldn't it basicly be a matter of ammount of shots to kill in that regard if its 4 dmg points less per shot? Simply less shots to kill is better in that regard for overall effectiveness.

Brad S Those numbers are not accurate. The actual stats are: 1911: 42 damage P08: 38 Damage I don't know why these stats are out like this, they are literally all wrong. The game itself gives accurate stats. 42x2= 84 38x2= 76. Till takes 3 shots for both.
The mars is great for use when you hit someone with a bolt action to the torso and can finish with 1 accurate hipfire shot with the mars killing them instantly
I love the slow-reload weapons just for the immersion of having to count my shots. Doesn't make me better at the game, I suck in most games, but it makes the experience more enjoyable for me.
Support really needs a buff that is what I am trying to say. I played support since I got the game and struggled to get any kills. I use the MG-15 and it is inaccurate, weak, and has a slow fire rate. I recently switched to scout and literally destroy everyone with that class. With Support my KD was generally around 1.5 per round or less, and with scout I easily score 4.0 per round.
I enjoy using the bodeo revolver for the scout class. Something about the aesthetics just clicks with me, and I like the ability to two shot an enemy in close ranges. The reload is manageable once you get used to it.

Didn't a lot of nations during the war share a lot of weaponry anywase? The allies all share tactics, equipment and especially weaponry. And it's not surprise if the enemy won a battle and got their hands on them too.

Boe Smith I honestly take med crate or rifle smoke grenades ~90% of the time, because when most people skip, they are more useful for PTFOing. I only take the syringe when I'm playing TDM or attacking on Operations. If they removed the skip mechanic, I would run syringe all the time. It's honestly more useful for killing Elite classes and campers than reviving rn.

problem is, noone will try and get to the enemy trench, cause anyone who does will just get killed over and over again, making the games go on for ages

I don't understand how you don't like the MARS Automatic... I know that its rate of fire is a bit slow, but it has that huge mag, a good reload, good hipfire, good damage, and it feels like it's by far the best sidearm to use at range (which can be awesome when you're at that range that's just short of where you want to use your bolt-action). Honestly, I find myself running around with the MARS and beating pretty much everything at close to medium range that isn't an Automatico or Model 10-A. I see so much praise for the M1911, but I honestly just don't feel it. I often burn through the mag without doing much, and I'm not sure what the problem is. I do agree that the auto revolver is a beast, though.
The trouble with the 449 RPM guns is that you likely won't always hit your max ttk. While trying to track a moving enemy you likely won't manage to spam click quite that fast.
I love my revolvers, in BF3 my highest kills gun was the Magnum. The revolvers in this game are cool and fun to use but I think the No.3 Revolver could use a little tweaking. It was a let down when I first used it.
I remember in bf3 before they nerfed the M93R, it could go toe to toe with any primary (except maybe a shotgun) at close range and win, I've always loved using my side arms in the battlefield games
Bobbie that's why there should be so many more than what's in the game, the whole world didn't use just the mp18. Ww1 was the dawn of all modern weaponry. Every country had their own weapons and that's not to mention all the prototype weaponry that was in development towards the end and during the war.
Gasser is my favorite sidearm. It's shoots slow and reloads slow but makes up for it with high damage. Killed 3 people in one room in 30 seconds with it

BF3 .44 was the most satisfying gun ever. I was so excited when I saw the revolvers in this game and then I kept thinking I wasn't getting headshots until I realized that they don't oneshot anymore :( whyy :(

Yea I actually use the Mars with my Martini Henry. If they are super close more then the 35m I blast them with the martini due about 80 damage or more. Then fast switch to the Mars. One bullet and bam there dead. And if they get in range and I miss, I can still count on the Mars to switch two it. Two shots to the head dead, Three shots to the body dead and it has a big mag and fast rate of fire.
Well I already have 133 Kills with the P08 (Red Baron) and it's pretty good. Of course it's not as strong as OP M1911 but it's still good. But for me it took awhile to get kills with it.

I'm always using Repetierpistole M.12 as a support even though the reloading is so incredibly slow, but that design of it just looks so fabulous, especially with the legendary skin I've got for it

The trouble with the 449 RPM guns is that you likely won't always hit your max ttk. While trying to track a moving enemy you likely won't manage to spam click quite that fast.

I love my revolvers, in BF3 my highest kills gun was the Magnum. The revolvers in this game are cool and fun to use but I think the No.3 Revolver could use a little tweaking. It was a let down when I first used it.
I remember in bf3 before they nerfed the M93R, it could go toe to toe with any primary (except maybe a shotgun) at close range and win, I've always loved using my side arms in the battlefield games

Bobbie that's why there should be so many more than what's in the game, the whole world didn't use just the mp18. Ww1 was the dawn of all modern weaponry. Every country had their own weapons and that's not to mention all the prototype weaponry that was in development towards the end and during the war.

Gasser is my favorite sidearm. It's shoots slow and reloads slow but makes up for it with high damage. Killed 3 people in one room in 30 seconds with it

Bruno Naletto little bit late but i finnaly got a service star with it. And i'm not talking shooting on some dynamite so you get a kill. Just no scope/quickscope and you're good

BF3 .44 was the most satisfying gun ever. I was so excited when I saw the revolvers in this game and then I kept thinking I wasn't getting headshots until I realized that they don't oneshot anymore :( whyy :(
for me the mars just feels like a beast in my opinion u can just feel its power its so cool to use it feels like the martiny henry of the pistols and i do well with it :D

Yea I actually use the Mars with my Martini Henry. If they are super close more then the 35m I blast them with the martini due about 80 damage or more. Then fast switch to the Mars. One bullet and bam there dead. And if they get in range and I miss, I can still count on the Mars to switch two it. Two shots to the head dead, Three shots to the body dead and it has a big mag and fast rate of fire.

Well I already have 133 Kills with the P08 (Red Baron) and it's pretty good.
Of course it's not as strong as OP M1911 but it's still good.
But for me it took awhile to get kills with it.
it's pretty decent, the 1911 might be better, but the p08 got more swag factor.

The mars auto is super good it's a solid weapon I have 2 service stars on it also it is very good at range no long but medium range it's stands out the most

The m1911 is truly a Legendary Pistol. over 100 years old and still one of the most durable, most reliable pistol ever, and its still kicking Terrorist ass today.
