I think I've watched 6 sniping videos and this one finally had what I was looking for. Didn't know about the pressing down on the D-Pad until now. New to battlefield.
Sometimes i change guns depending on the maps though. In Sinai I sometimes use sniper or marksman for example, and in Argonne or Suez i use carabin or infantry. That's just me though. Just wanted to mention that
@@xilencered7788 yep. unless you're some experienced alpha male chad who can use any gun to shred enemies in any video game, you'll want to stick to a few weapons and master them. You can get away with using more weapons but personally this is what I would do: - Play only 2 classes, I prefer the less common (Medic & Support), they help the team a lot more & u can farm points with them, easy top10 if u keep healing/reviving/resupplying - Play only 2 guns per class, that being 4 in total. For each class, you want a gun that you can use at close to mid ranges (75m). For Medic, I like to use the Federov Avtomat (Alternatively use the Auto .25 or the Sweeper), and for longer ranges Selblaster Optical/Marksman (Or Mondragon Sniper). For Support, there are a LOT of good guns. Parabellum/M1917 MG are my top picks, alternatively the BAR, lMG, Benet, Lewis Gun Suppressive, all are REALLY good guns, and they all can snipe enemies & destroy close-range enemies.
Another great video, I think it's worth mentioning that snipers should also attempt to spot for their team mates. This will enable them to be more of a team player rather than just solo shooters especially those that sit back.
Hey TBM, you have helped me out in Battlfield 1 so much. About a month or two ago I was the biggest noob, always trying to get a ton of kills but never getting any. But now after watching all of your helpful videos I usually finish a round with 35 kills and 15 deaths. Hopefully this video will help,me with sniping. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!
I was already doing all the stuff you suggested, but just switching from an 8x sight Russian 1895 sniper to the gewehr 98 with a 4x sight has made me actually be able to snipe properly, thanks!
I know this is an old video, but i just got playing and i discovered that if u put a tripwire bomb facing a door, when the door is open the bomb will immediately explode and kill the enemy

Although I have BF1 on PC, your tutorials and tips are worth watching and learning. You're a crack up in some videos at times,in my opinion one of the few things which stands out in your videos which i love the most, is that you are calm, you keep me entertained throughout the video and especially, especially you watch your language. Sniper shields are incredibly useful if you're a team player. Deploy one of those in bunker maps and have a machine gunner lie down a few paces away from the connecting doorway, near unkillable.
Great video ! Just to say, that those tips are targeted at newer players. In a more competitive match, you'll find subclasses of snipers and medics specialised into murdering anything that may look like a sniper. In that meta, do. Not. Stand. Still. Take all your shots on the move, aim also with your left joystick/wasd keys. Moving is a good way to make small changes between two shots while making sure no sniper can hit your head. It is harder to play that way, of course. Also, I highly recommend the russian 1895 trench (don't remember the number right might be mistaking) for cqb and deathmatch. At close range you'd have the upper hand in gunfights against medics if you land your shots right.
This video definitely explains a lot. I didn't know the names of the snipers indicated what they're best for. Made a loadout for medium range maps, large maps, and urban maps.

I know this is late asf but on the off chance anyone reads this... I don’t understand this sweet spot and zeroing in shit. Like if a snipers sweet spot is from say 75m-125m, does that mean you can’t get a one shot kill from closer than 75m?? This doesn’t make sense to me. Why would it be a one shot at 75m and farther but not closer? Also, how come zeroing your sniper in at the longest range, 300, does not yield maximum damage at all ranges? None of this makes sense to me at all whatsoever and I’d love a quick explanation.
