Your street was great. I really liked the Koudelka shadow dog, and the get well soon racoon was a great find. The cars between the snow covered bridge hand rails was really nice too. Many very good ones and I'd like to see more street from you once in awhile ! Thanks, LarryMac
Another wonderful video and a great batch of images. Your compositions are strong enough to hold the photo together with out the street photography element. As someone who shoots mostly street I have gone out and tried making photos in a style inspired by your photos . By trying to making strong photos without the human element has helped me when going back to street photography.
My fav captures in that video: 1. the dead raccoon. I would‘ve made that as well. 2. the upside-down shadow of that dog. (I love the work of Daido Moriyama, Japan, who photographed a stray dog, too). And final thought: being on the streets with all that chaos and noise and traffic and smell and finding a scene that tells you a story is the challenge and the fascination. Being able to create a composition within seconds ... But to know your weak points is key in the creative process ...
That dog is actually my dog Luna, we were on a walk. I saw the shadow looking a bit crazy and took a photo :) I know, I understand why some people enjoy it. I don't dislike chaos necessarily, but I don't like noise. I still remember the first time I heard "silence" for the first time, up in the mountains of Oregon. My ears were ringing, they didn't know what to do with that lack of sound. It was awesome and something I'm always looking for - hard to achieve nowadays, though.
I sometimes shoot streets also, and I get that a lot! A lot of people are very cautious with people carrying a camera, so I always try to keep my camera low until I find the right composition and get it super quick...
You may not feel comfortable doing street photography but you're very good at it! This was a good change of pace, and it's great to see your many talents, thanks for sharing!
"My ears hurt really bad" - I always carry a selection of cheap foam ear plugs with me - you never know when shutting out all the noise will be a blessing..:)
Hello Adrian. I'm a bit confused about the right film back for shooting 6×6. Does it require a 120 or 220 film back? I'm not sure. I'm keen as to get a similar setup to you but I have no idea what exactly to get and what is a good deal as I'm just a digital nerd and have no experience when it comes to shopping for these items. Thanks dude.
I love how the extreme contrast in your images further abstracts your images.

Really like your street shots as well, street doesn’t all ways have to be “in your face”, look at some work by Fan Ho, extremely inspiring!
Fan Ho is one of my inspirations : )

Hope you had the opportunity to photo the Portland skyline from the esplanade. My favorite location is from the OMSI area.
I like to go down to that launch where you're right on the water. (not good for long exposure though.)
Very Nice! Made me miss portland!
Another great video, Adrian. The raccoon shot will be "Marmite" - some will love it and others hate it. Personally, I love it.
Coo image andl print ...
interesting thoughts man

120 is a standard size, easier to find and process.
Congratulations my friend for the video.
Para mí la del puente me sigue pareciendo la mejor...Al ver tu copia me entran ganas de salir disparado a hacer una de las mías,j,j,lj,j,j
Que marabillosas lembranzas!! Keep Portland weird!
Oh my
So the image of the dead Raccoon at 17:33 is pretty tasteless.
Good luck to you , I can’t support crap like that .
Portland has hands down the shittiest down town ever . Nothing interesting
