Thank you for sharing your photography with us, Adrian! I will miss seeing Tahoe this winter and your video helps me to live vicariously through your experiences ✨
Merry Christmas, Adrian. I've saved this absolute delight until today, Christmas day morning - watching whilst it's still dark here, waiting for enough light to walk Wylfen my Champagne German Shepherd. Thank you so much for this beautiful festive treat. Definitely one to watch again. Thank you.
I notice you have invested in the Heipi travel tripod. I bought one last year and I love it. I'm no spring chicken and it's super light yet sturdy for my trips to the English Lake district. Great for low camera angles. You continue to greatly influence me. I don't consciously imitate you (though it's the greatest form of flattery) but some of my black and white images and edits have a distinct 'Vila-esque' look about them. Thank you. I very much enjoyed many of the images you captured. You looked like you were enjoying yourself even when the weather was severe. I hope you're managing to make a living out of what you obviously love doing. I guess you see it as a rare privilege to have such a rewarding lifestyle. BTW, I find your book 'Creative B&W Editing in Lightroom' very useful even though I don't use LR. (Berny)
New follower on instagram and really enjoyed your video. Wonderful photos and love the bnw. Nevada state park is really one of my favorite spots during bad weather. I go time and again; the North side of the lake is one of my favorite photo haunts too. Cheers from the Reno,Nevada.
I love the minimalist style of many of your photos Adrian - simple compositions are so much more powerful than busy ones. Finding suitable scenes isn't easy but you clearly know it when you see it. The second day's images were more striking than those shot on the first day; I guess it takes a while to get tuned in to a new location. You might find the winter conditions more bearable if you invest in some better cold-weather clothing - treat yourself this Christmas! Thanks for another year of terrific, inspiring videos. Feliz Navidad!
Why you don't have 500K subscribers is a mystery to me. I wish you would include the recipes for your lunch and dinners. That food looks delicious! Happy Holidays!
Great video I am a big fan of yours very nice to see snow I am originally from Austria but been living in Australia for a long time I am also a Pellegrino have done about 10 Caminos I know Spain quite well wish you lots of success in the new year and thanks again Anton
Hello Adrian. That trip was quite an ordeal, I felt sorry for you walking solo in this bad weather. But the good thing is you came home with a lot of good pictures. I must say, I did not followed you a while but it seems that digital took over from your Bronica... That I think is a pity, I rather saw your work made with classic analog materials but then again...I understand the cumbersom part of it. Cheers mate, I keep following you on your channel.
This is a nice Christmas present!!, thanks Adrian another great video.....Merry christmas to you, and your family and everyone who follows you on YuoTube!!
This is exactly like at the Kroktjønna Lakes by Folldal in Oppland, the same pain trees, the same nature, everything! You must go there next time in Norway. And here you're allowed to walk anywhere in nature, even if it's private. You can camp on private property as long as you don't stay longer than two nights, then you've to ask the owner of the land. And you have to camp minimum 150 meters away from the nearest house. In winter you can walk anywhere on the fields and pastures too. And along water you're allowed to walk anywhere, and if somebody put up a fence down to the lake, you're allowed to pass their fence and walk across their private garden, as nobody are allowed to hinderance access by water. This is ancient Norwegian law, a heritage going back to the age of the Vikings, called "allemannsretten".
I'm jealous! I normally live in Montana but I'm currently in Southern California and there isn't a speck of snow besides one run at the local ski resort 😂 I've been so tempted to drive up North but the holidays have made prices unrealistic for me. Very glad you got to enjoy some winter photography! Happy to see at least someone's enjoying themselves! Loved the video. It made me feel like I wasn't missing out, but instead like I was there shooting along with you 😍 Loved it so much you have a new subscriber 🤙

Hi Adrian, it's really nice to see Snow in photos, and with the Trees it looks like a Post Card. Nice adventure, thanks 😊

Great video (as usual) and fabulous photos.
Loved the trees framed by the railings at the golf course.
8:42 love this image of the two stumps
P.s. you need to get some actual decent winter gear, not the lightweight stuff you’re wearing!
Tremendous effort and great images as always Adrian. Happy holidays to you and your family!

Thank you. Great video. I wonder if I can shoot square format photos in my clunky Nikon.
Another good one! You go out there (bears are active), so we don't have to.
Like your video's and photos, thanks.
