Pierre, no location is boring if you have a tilt screen to shoot from the waist without people noticing you. ;) Hope you having fun in your american adventures.
Airports are not boring locations at all! They're usually designed by great architects and are excellent photography playgrounds. I always shoot a lot in airports. Cool stuff, as always!
Heya! Thanks for watching!! Ah yeah they can be good - I tend not to shoot as I’m in transit rushing usually! Some have good design like you mention but I don’t see a many of them!
This was a lot of fun Pierre. It’s so refreshing to find a photography channel about taking creative photos rather than gear talk. Keep the challenges coming. Oh, in boring places, I go macro. Things get interesting really close up. Cheers. Travel safe.
I looooove the intro so much, your content, how different your style is compared to other youtubers, your photos, your ig. I am honestly starting to become a fan hahaha :) what I also love about you is how confident you are to take and make vlogs in public. How do you that? haha sorry that is personally my problem. I really want to become a photographer but I struggle with people or taking shots in a public place. PLUS, I really love your photographs but no doubt the quality of your camera is also insanely good! It is sony right? Anyways, more power. Keep up the good work. Love from PH!
Hey L!! Thanks a lot man I really appreciate :-) yeah I became better over time with the camera took a lot of trials and still does haha. Love the PH !! Keep it up :-) see you in the next episode!!!
The one with the planes lined up and the reflection from the neon lights was pretty cool! Great video as always and will definitely challenge myself to take better photos next time I'm in a "boring" location. Bonne journée à toi!
Liked this a lot. Would love to see more boring location videos. Got more details what you are looking for in the world around you to make compelling images.
What a timely post. I actually did this over the weekend. I couldn't get out to the beach (or anywhere interesting) so I walked around my neighborhood and took some shots of the sunset in the suburbs. Only got one picture worth posting but it was a fun exercise to challenge my creativity.
More challenges! Seeing how you think and how you find composition and ideas for photographs is something absolutely fantastic and instructive. Thanks!
Amazing video. You should do challenge video more often. The great thing about this is that you explain your thought process how (and why) you took each photo. For me, the process of creating an image is more fascinating than the final result.
Heya! Thanks a lot man!! New video just released now & one coming up on Monday in the same genre - hope it'll be as good haha 😅 Have a great end of the week!
Go to the airport in Atlanta, Georgia. There is a museum there that you can only see if you have a ticket. Your photos would never be boring from your flight on your way to pick up your luggage.
The last one was my fav 🙏🏻 I‘m all for light flares and light leaks. I‘m planning to create some custom light leaks with different kind of glass to put them over images without light leaks, maybe that‘s an idea for a future video of yours :) Anyway great video as always!
great video! i have been challenging myself to take pictures in airports for the past 3 months because i fly a lot for work. I usually have just one camera and one prime lens to challenge me even more. I appreciate your perspective and will incorporate some of your ideas. i particularly like your suggestion to change angles and get low, i will definitely try to incorporate that into my technique. A Bientot mon ami! -Rob in Western Canada
The Chicago O'Hare Airport is not a boring location haha! I actually took a really cool photo at the same spot you were in this video. Great video by the way!
Some APs restrict photos, as comments mentioned, but the vid theme is spot on. Good pics are to be had everywhere, more so for bad pics. It takes a photographer’s eye to find the gems. Apply principles. Liked the flag, motion blur, and low angle sunburst “footage” - pun intended. Candids of people (e.g., juxtaposed w/odd background props for special effect) are also possible. Post processing offers opportunities to turn blah into wow, but that route takes separate tools and skill set. Try a pétanque tournament for a good theme challenge.
Can't believe you did a quick shoot in the airport before the flight. No security came up to you or nothing? That's crazy. You are too creative for your own good. Keep up the creativity. Always giving me inspiration. Have a safe flight. @terrellshedrickphotography
Pierre awesome shots! The location you are shooting at seems pretty interesting to me, especially with the globe and the american flag. Just wondering for those long exposure shots did you have a ND or filter of any kind? ~ Singapore
Pierre I really do liked this video. I would be happy if you make more videos in which you have kind of a challenge. Therefore the best photographers musr go out of their comfort zone ;)
Pierre T. Lambert even if it's super simple. Maybe a hashtag on Instagram would be an easy way for viewers to share and check out each other's photographs. #PTLcrew maybe?

yea i agree, airports have too many subjects to shoot actually
This was a lot of fun Pierre. It’s so refreshing to find a photography channel about taking creative photos rather than gear talk. Keep the challenges coming. Oh, in boring places, I go macro. Things get interesting really close up. Cheers. Travel safe.

Standing in the crowd and speaking to a camera. That would push me so wide out of my comfort zone.

I don't think you know what "boring" really is. Come to my country, where infrastructures' breaking down really fast, dirt is in ever corner, people dressing poorly, buildings are badly designed, sky is dull... Even the best camera' s photos look bland. Naturally, bokeh is king in our photography.
Anyway, appreciate the tip.
Hey Sean! Thanks man! Oh damn that sounds hard to shoot yeah. I guess like you said the bokeh is king then! Making the rest melt :)
See you in the next episode ;-)
❤❤
Thanks for watching!
