Out in socal you end up in a cactus down a ravine if that happens lol. Better than it happening in moab or something though lol.

That was so much fun, we had a blast riding with you! We've got tons more fun stuff to show you next time you're in Utah, and hopefully we make it out to the NorthEast to ride soon!

You are such relatable dude. The way you can just hang with anyone and make them feel so welcome. Watching your riding is amazing, but watching how you treat people like the young man at the end is what it’s all about. Oh yeah, and glad you didn’t get hurt.

Dead Reckoning is the best flow trail in the area but definitely stay right at the bottom of it instead of blasting horizontally across the rock garden! That's definitely a first! Glad you're ok Phil.

@@SkillsWithPhil - Pre-ride for the win (grin). But you're the best on-the-fly pick-the-right-line DH rider I've seen so it's trippy to see you pick the wrong line. It almost never happens.

Awesome riding man! Those jumps on the expert section are much different now. I had the worst crash of my life on that line a few years back. The first 2 were the same, but the long straight table after the roller was much more built up with a bigger landing. I got a big gust of wind and just got taken out. Have a permanent scar from a deep hole in my arm from that jump. Anyway it’s cool to see that they changed it!

Hey Phil! IDK if you're still in the area, but western Colorado has some pretty unique rides! I live near Grand Junction.. I think you'd really enjoy some of the riding out here. There are some well-known rides and it's such a different landscape than what you all have out east! I think you'd enjoy it.. Let me know if you decide to come out!

    • @SkillsWithPhil

The trail has been fairly predictable until that point. When i got to the split, which was a bit blind, i couldn’t tell what the main line was. I made a split second decision thinking the trail diverged into two completely separate trails, not realizing that in actuality that i chose the quick b line that cuts out the rock garden. Obviously the rest is history. Bad judgment call. It happens.

Nah, I sampled ambient noise without talking from parts of the video to drown out the music. If you overlay two tracks, it adds enough noise to obfuscate the content ID. This feels more natural and less out of place than if i had used a random music track, but Since i only had so much to work with i had to use the same few samples over and over.
