This is the only review of these PASAK wheels I saw here in YT. Here in Asia they sell these online and advertise this as an 11 speed hub, what I received was a 12 speed hub with 6-pawls, it also included a spacer to accommodate 11 speed cassette. The rear wheel only costs 33USD (shipping already included).
Thanks buddy! Already looking real customer info about these wheels on aliexpress and you're the nb 1 source of info I could find on the internet. Very nice and well explained all features, I'll definitely go for them.
Love the channel. I weigh 215 lbs and ride in Austin which is pretty rocky in spots. What is you confidence in this product for my situation in 29er configuration. Thank you and keep up the good work
@@gravitycheckmtb That makes sense. I have always ridden Mavic CrossMax or something of similar quality but also full suspension since 1995. I may try a pair of these Pasak wheel for a build though.
hey i love the video i have been pricing tons of wheels on aliexpress and its been pretty hard to find what i am looking for. I want those exact wheels only 29"? do you know if they sell it?
It should be arriving soon and it’s getting a custom powder coating color. This Ebike is the new 2021 version and features a powerful motor and is 1000W. I’ve been in talks with he mfg for months and it’s the 4th bike off the line. Should be an epic build.
@Johannes Nilsen The freehub is probably their own manufactured product. It is a 3 paw design. Not sure on the engagement. If watch my other videos I have an update on these because the internals got destroyed on the ebike. However I have another video where I buy wheels from amazon and those are much better wheels for a cheaper prices. ua-cam.com/video/T1ExdLeKAZw/v-deo.html
They are single wall but are pretty robust. The wheels on my GT dirt jumper are single wall as well and I havent had an issue with those. I think they will hold up fine to be honest.
Hey I have some forks I would love for you to try but I'm afraid they may not be the specs you are looking for in your e bike. They are 160 mm by 36 mm aluminum boost forks. Tapered neck shoulder lock out and dampener. Let me know if that interests you. I can send pics if you are interested?
At the moment I’m running WTB 2.25 trail boss tires because that’s what I have laying around. I’m probably going to bump up to a 2.4 or a 2.5 midseason

Thanks, a lot of Ebike stuff coming very soon.

I think suspension has more to do with it than wheels strength. With proper suspension and tubeless tires you should be fine.

What about engagement? How many degrees of engagement? Which freehub does it use?

@@gravitycheckmtb I've not had any cheap wheels in years. Currently use Hope Tech Pro 4 hubs. but want to upgrade to something with better engagement.
Great info. Mic check!
Hey mate, great review! Are these rims double wall or single wall? And how do you think they would hold up on a dirt jump build?

@@gravitycheckmtb awesome, thanks for that info man :)
