- This is a tutorial with the 10 best power twister exercises for chest muscles, biceps, triceps, deltoids, latissimus and abdominal muscles. The power twister is a fitness gadget from the 1970s. The power twister, also known as a king spring, is a steel spring with a resistance of 20 - 60 kg. There are also Chinese versions of it with strength of up to 120 kg (Tyrannosaurus), which is the world record. I have tested this steel spring and found it to be safe, provided that impander's safety loops are used and the movement is done slowly. The advantage of the power twister is that circular movements can be carried out with a constant load. This video is not a power twister challenge to set a record, but a training tutorial with such useful pressure exercises as: the butterfly, biceps curl, triceps presses, tight rows, flies, crunches and lateral raises.

I regularly go to gym and got this as a gift. And these were insanely hard for me! My favorite is exercise 4 easily. Easiest and hits the pecs the most!

Absolutely incredible and to think the name of the channel is so simple, for beginners really recommend a couple of months with the 20kg first especially if you never used elastic bands/grippers/weights or did any calisthenics, 20kg or even 10kg if you find for the first month, I recommend. Your muscles need to get stronger and used to the tension so for the first couple of weeks start the routine and after every exercise end the last repetition by holding the form for as long as possible and SLOWLY releasing to the initial position (isometrics) it will help beginners get used to tension and grow more strength allowing them to do more repetition to gain more mass, most people actually don't know this! also it is a fun routine!

Would u say this is a calisthenic workout? And also isometrics? I was looking for a good replacement for pushups cus i have shoulder issues. It seems to me like this works the muscles in the exact way as a pushup when u hold it in front of u and bend it.
Exercise # 3 in the video is similar to push ups.

If you have trained your muscles to exhaustion, they need 48 - 72 hours to regenerate. So train 2 - 3 times a week. 🤛

How do you know if you need to step up on the resistance? I just got mine today and its 20kg too.
If I can do more than 12 slow repetitions, I'll use a stronger power twister.
Alls Jugendlicher habe ich auch damit Trainiert bis heute diese Biegehandel habe ich heute noch mit 55j u benutze es als Abwärmen

Toll erklärt. Eine Frage hätte ich noch. Wie lange sollte man die Hantel im gebogenen Zustand halten und wie oft sollte man die Übung wiederholen ?
Ich würde 2 Sätze mit jeweils 8-12 Wiederholungen ausführen. Im gebogenen Zustand würde ich die Biegehantel 2 Sekunden halten.

You have to train your glutes, legs and lower back with barbells. I don't have any power twister exercises right now.
If you can only do 8-12 slow repetitions with the Power Twister, you can build muscle with every exercise. See my Power Twister Playlist. As you can do more reps, you'll need to tighten the grips or use a stronger Power Twister.

One exercise consists of 2-3 sets of 8-12 repetitions until muscle exhaustion. If you can do more than 12 reps then you need a stronger Power Twister.

Super Video, aber werden nicht bei den ersten beiden Übungen auch andere Teile des Arms trainiert, da ich diese Übungen schon ein paar Monate mache und auch Erfolge am biceps, triceps und am gesamten Unterarm feststellen konnte und auch sehe und spüre das diese ebenfalls angespannt werden außerdem sehe ich es am Rücken (ich glaube Rauten und großer Rücken muskel) wie dieser sich mit anspannt.
Ich habe mich bei den Übungen auf die dynamisch trainierten Muskeln konzentriert. Aber es werden auch andere Muskeln durch das Festhalten der Biegehantel isometrisch trainiert.
