    That was truly impressive. I will be sure to watch it several times as I'm sure I missed many of the details. These are the projects that separate the men from the boys.

    Magnifique travail de reconstruction ! Et superbe vidéo !
    Dommage qu'une fois terminé.... et le soubassement refermé
    toutes les étapes de fabrication s'oublieront.... Il ne restera que la vidéo et
    le plaisir du travail trop bien fait !!!!

    Ouah. Mais en ce qui me concerne : ce que vous faites n'est plus vraiment de la restauration. C'est la reconstruction totale d'une voiture. Respect. J'ai rarement vu un tel savoir-faire et un tel dévouement.

    They are brave men taking on Lancias, the Delta and Beta were built from dodgy Soviet steel and rust was THE reason Lancia pulled out of the UK in the 80s never to return.

    Absolutely amazing work. Is this the steel one with aluminum doors, hood and rear lid? The first ones were all aluminum which of course would not have rusted. Will you spray something inside the sill to protect the bare steel from rusting?

    • @slgclassiccars4098
      @slgclassiccars4098  5 місяців тому

      this is the aluminium version. aluminium body on steel structure. Of course everything will be protected against corrosion, including cavity wax after the car is painted

    ОМГ - 33,43 - свято якесь)
    0:39 - нормальний такий бутерброд) Гадаю далі буде зовсім смачно)
    2:44 - і завжди всі починають шукаюти у порозі пакетик з білим порошком)
    Добре що старі авто всередині, переважно, складаються з простих форм, чого не скажеш про зовнішні частини)
    13:00 Хтось бачить тут безнадійність і депресію, а я - лише прямі лінії )
    15:50 А хіба цей верстат одночасно не розтягуе металл коли штампує форму? Він все одно потребує попереднього розтягу металу на англійському колесі?
    Який проміжок часу, приблизно, зайняла вся робота що в цьому відео?
    32:07 - саме те, за ради чого потрібно ходити на геометрию і креслення))
    Чиста робота, дякую. Безцінні навички - безкоштовно. Дякую.
    Хороша перша серія гарного серіалу) маю сподівання...
    OMG - 33.43 - some kind of holiday)
    0:39 - such a sandwich is normal) I think it will be very tasty from now on)
    2:44 - and always everyone starts looking for a bag with white powder in the sill)
    It's good that the inside of old cars mostly consists of simple shapes, which cannot be said about the external parts)
    13:00 Someone sees hopelessness and depression here, and I see only straight lines)
    15:50 And doesn't this machine stretch the metal at the same time when stamping the form? Does it still need to pre-stretch the metal on the english wheel?
    Approximately how long did it take to complete the work in this video?
    32:07 - exactly what you need to go to geometry and drawing for))
    Clean work, thank you. Invaluable skills - for free. Thanks.
    A good first episode of a good series) I hope...

    But really, can't you buy a ten bucks brand new pair of gloves ?
    The hobo' style that these crappy ones gives you doesn't match with the quality of your work.

    • @slgclassiccars4098
      @slgclassiccars4098  Рік тому +2

      Yes I can, but these are still good, they still protect the inner side of the hand, and that's what i'm looking for

    • @daos3300
      @daos3300 9 місяців тому +1

      the gloves are fine where it counts. if you do metal work you'll understand that they have quite a long life. welding & grinding makes the top into swiss cheese. the inside is good until the ends of the fingers get holes in them, then they are finished.
