Is there any way to just grab the one on the Sky Island? I know it would take time out of the run, but how does that time compare to the time needed to grab any of the other shirts?
@@parchmentengineer8169I think the main idea is that you have to go out of your way to get the Zora Tunic and Flamebreaker chest anyway. It's more efficient to find a way to do those before Gerudo than to go out of your way, get a shirt, do Gerudo, only to go straight to Goron or Zora's just to get another shirt anyway.
I didn’t actually activate the quest to clear the thunderhead before the spirit temple, i just kinda wandered in. Once I was done with the spirit temple, i remembered the ring ruins and was wondering what they were. I go in ans realise i skipped almost all the steps up to the spirit temple.
i done the same lol , theres so much you can accidentally skip and ruin for yourself by just exploring when that seems to be the main part of the game. they really should have locked some of the things off until youve got an item or done a quest etc i wish they didnt let me get the mastersword so easily relatively early on, because i wanted to do the geoglyphs as i explored for it to just ruin the dekutree quest later. the gloom hands were fkin me up to then get rewarded with nothing because i had previously watched some cutscenes :(
@@WhyUHaf2BeMad oh yeah the memories were a giant complaint with me cause in BoTW there was a story but if you skipped around it was no big deal. TotK tho, if you skip some it can ruin the story. I ended up looking up all the locations just so I could experience the entire thing in order.

The people who made this video did an amazing job at explaining this run! The voiceover, editing and thumbnail were all amazing, and it's nice to see a video that takes a look into this really interesting category.
I bet TOTK is going to turn into a very interesting speedrun game, eventually; so many mechanics, so much content, so many glitches with different properties. There's so much you can do in this game!
LOVE the routing and going into all the stuff that wont even result in anything, it shows an amazing part to speedrunning that you will not see in the finished product. pls make more like this
Not gonna lie, when you all originally started this channel it felt like a breath of fresh air for speedrunning content and i was pretty excited for what was to come After a while i was very confused about why i heard so little from this channel and thought, "well the algorithm must have done them dirty" because i only occasionally saw videos even though i was subscribed. But when i checked the channel to see all the videos i assumed somehow got lost in translation, i saw that there were none that i hadn't already seen. You kind of collectively dropped the ball on this one. And i actually think this channel would have performed fantastically for some reason.

Wonder what the hypothetical route for an "all warp points" run would be. Essentially, a speed run where you have to unlock and complete everything that unlocks a potential warp point.
Its probably gonna be the great sky island then the great abandoned central mine then dungeons(and any shrines on the way to the dungeons) then hateno ancient tech lab then all the shrines
@@emidemi7211 be glad I didn't say "all koroks" or "all Addison signs". THOSE would be awful. Besides, FromSoft games have some pretty absurd challenge runs. Whether you talking about "all endings 100% as fast as possible" or "everything you can do on one file as quick as possible", doing a "perfect speed run " in Bloodborne makes "all warp points" feel like a morning jog. Especially since rocket shield cheeses most of the shrines anyway.

As the one above me has stated, GSI routing is wacky, really wacky. We go to Ascend first, and do hard to explain precise tricks with voidout areas, but that’s just the start.
I just found out I skipped more than half of Sidon's quest... after getting the Zora tunic, I just made a very "held together by duct tape and ambitions" balloon to go up to the water temple. I already wondered why Sidon wasn't there after I regularly completed the Fire temple with Yunobo at my side.
In zora's quest, I have tried first meet yoda with ancient arrowana, then to the architech, then to king and then go to the water drop, lastly you can meet sidon
@@Periwinkleaccountpeople will complain when a single player game isn’t working how it should be. Yes glitches are fun for some people, but they can be frustrating for others. You could argue a lot of these glitches won’t be found by the casual gamer or person who doesn’t want to run into them, but there’s no guarantee of that being true.

What about the lynel near tama pond? Its on the way to rito village and its white maned(not sure if its always white maned or if you need the lynel to level up)

Lets give this channel an applause for continuing uploads despite shooting itself in the food by not doing do very much when it launched, this is how you know its a passion project.
I must have gotten pretty lucky, cuz I encountered a falling rock in Faron Woods that took me straight to Dragonhead Island right from the get-go. That, or this is actually pretty common and I just now noticed it lol.
Honestly Smallant probably just got bored of it. He's notoriously unreliable when it comes to making UA-cam content (a bunch of challenges on his channel never got their second half) and given he runs the account it probably killed the channel

Especially since the reason you would want a shirt is not for stat buffs or anything but just to avoid making the Gerudos horny.
I think there was an issue with not wearing a shirt while talking to hestu being a problem in some other speedrun/challenge run iirc
