I still have a leftover jug of Mobil one zero16 from the Corolla and an oil filter from it as well since they are the same I’m gonna use them up and then I’ll probably go with the Pennzoil going forward.Again congrats hope your new car gets here soon. From my experience whatever the EPA says the car will get you can easily do much better. I did 9 to 10 miles per gallon better than the EPA without even trying with the Corolla hybrid .

I should post the oil analysis results . Black stone said the oil was still good and usable , contamination was all within acceptable ranges and Toyotas bulk oil is very good 👍. I tend to agree with you. That’s the only 2 times I ever went that far on oil but that oil was cleaner at 10k than my f150 ecoboost was at 3000 miles.
Could you show how you prime the oil filter for the hybrid? On my regular gas car I'd just let the car run until it warms up but the hybrid doesn't turn on the engine.
Do your oil change at every 6200 miles if you want to run engine for long term otherwise if you change oil at 10000 miles after 118000 miles you need to replace and buy another engine.
Exactly! If you buy Toyotas maintenance package it only provides for an oil change every 10,000 miles and your engine will be ruined. It must be changed at least every 5,000 miles.
@@markkent4295 One can also install a bypass oil filter that would be able to filter the synthetic 0w-16w oil down to the three micron oil contamination filtration levels for the full 10,000 miles and one can also install a oil cooler to keep the filtered oil cooler even during hot summer driving.
I like these corolla hybrid videos! Do more of them! And 10k oil changes?! No thanks
I sold the car a few months ago. The market was hot , KBB gave me more for it 3 yrs old than I paid for it brand new . I. Bought rav4 prime .It’s quite a step up but the Corolla was a great car w amazing mpg .
@@JohnDiMartino The Master Tech from Toyota Amid in his channel, advise with all he can, against the 10,000 oil changes, it simply ruins the engine: ua-cam.com/video/TJhFAwFv-O0/v-deo.html
Łapka w górę 👍
Did you get the oil test results? What did they recommend?
I did get the analysis results. I’ll be posting a video soon. The 10k interval and Toyota bulk oil from the dealer were all absolutely fine, the oil could have run longer .
Thanks
I still can't comprehend why toyota couldn't make a proper coolingsystem.... that stupid thing on the back seat will be blocked by anyone sitting in the back (clothes or even bigger shoppingbags). Not to mention what would happen if any kind of fluid, vapor ect would get in the battery pack through the fan filter... toyota engineres need to redo this cooling and put the intake outside somewhere and make a channel that leads direct to the batteries.
👍
“She’s tight”
I just 1000 subs!
Congratulations man!
@@JohnDiMartino thanks
Would recommend changing transmission fluid ?
Not until 60k/6 years, at the earliest.
