Only Neil would say "if you were a breakfast cereal, you'd be 'reason-to-wake-up-o's'" and then follow it with "sure there are probably infinite dimensions, but I'm with you in this one, so why would I try to find them?"

God if I could just meet a guy that loved me as much as Neil loves this girl... can you imagine being loved by a poet? That would be fantastic. I just want to hear him read quotes, sonnets, soliloquies, books, series', anything with words.
My husband and I both struggle with mental illness and the desire to unalive ourselves, and my husband suffers severe anxiety and low self-worth. This channel has been an absolute lifesaver for him since he found it, since the connection he feels with these incredible poets allows him to overcome his inner emotional barriers and break down when he needs to, for which I am incredibly grateful because this channel has helped him make a LOT of progress with his mental health. He showed me this video/poem the other night and said it was the most perfect way to express how he feels about me (and Neil is his favorite poet).

Niel Hilborn reminds me alot of Michael Strunge, not in style or cadence, but in being so true and bare in their poetry and I think that is why I love both of them so much
