Gum Paste or Fondant | Which one should you use?

In this video, I'm going to tell you if you should use gum paste or fondant for different decorating scenarios.
In comparison, fondant is softer, more pliable, and takes longer to set, which is perfect for covering cakes. Gum paste is much harder after it sets. Most people don't end up eating gum paste decorations and it's mostly used to make flowers, figurines, and other decorations. I also demonstrate how I usually work with both materials.
