I would charge an arm and a leg for a cake with flowers like this after this much work.
Each one would take about 15 minutes i would say but yes many details 😅

I done seen a lot of Rose tutorials (even the awesome Kara KAkE Couture) but this is by far THE best one I have seen. The Best.
I’ve practiced and made 4 in the last 2 weeks. While they weren’t bad at all for my first time-your video reiterated what I was telling myself...”don’t over think this”. It’s a flower and in nature all flowers are beautifully with different ‘characteristics’.
And this is true even...in their own family groups.
That rose is just beautiful and with nothing but simplistic procedural application.
So often we watch others and try and recreate THEIR creativity not trusting our own. I had my idea to make it pretty as I envision my rose to look. But I was determined to go by the ‘book’.
I am doing this again tonight and I am SO excited about it.
Watching you I did realize one of my errors which created a ‘slight bulk’ at the base and that’s-not turning my petals slightly as I inserted them in the ‘inside’ of the last’.
Hope that made sense.

It’s not about the money, it’s about how passionate you are about creating such beautiful artwork. Money is just a plus. Cake decorating is an art form, and it’s all about the happiness honestly. Showing others your work and seeing smiles is worth more than any money in the world 😊 when I see smiles, that’s all that matters to me

I totally agree! I'm only now discovering I seem to have this passion and internal desire to create beauty, whether it's through cakes or nail art. The satisfaction I get from it cannot be described. I've truly never experienced that before in my life. I can understand how many people feel lost in life because they do miss that feeling of fulfilment without understanding that they miss it. I know I was like that!
