In this VladTV clip, Iman Shumpert spoke about his relationship with Carmelo Anthony, and noted that Carmelo doesn’t get enough credit for what he does on and off the court. Shumpert noted that Carmelo took the blame for their coach, knowing they wouldn’t fire him. Along with that, he spoke about how Anthony helped him moved from religion to spirituality. - Розваги

Off the court never had a problem with Melo. & couldn't call him a bad teammate. Melo did Melo on average teams & similar to Westbrook on OKC, he just didn't make teammates better

The media was selling the narrative that he lacked leadership/was a locker room cancer simply bc he was a ball dominant player.

Melo didn’t get the luxury of having 2-3 all stars beside him and never deflected the blame. He did his best with what he had and always made his teammates better. Just like Barkley or Malone, he was a legendary player that never had the right situation. I don’t know why they make him out to be a bad guy when anyone with personal interactions with him would take a bullet for that man.
Yet Lebron who's always been surrounded by stars consistently has deflected the blame and thrown coaches, teammates under the bus publicly with no hesitation. But he's the leagues and the media's baby.

Please check how many time in the west he lost to the eventual champion look it up. He couldnt get to the finals not because of him but because of his timing for everything. Chanpionship is a team sports and should only be used to compare players to others but it when all the dust settles he is a top 50 player of all time no matter what number you put him.
