George Karl had inner issues that he never solved from his past, having resentment towards his former Team Mates that was great. Ego is a Killer in life and from not self admitting that you have pain, hurt, frustration, that's inbedded within your soul, that you have a problem. And some people carry their long term bitterness throughout their life without getting the help they need ,by seeking a Therapist too help you cope with your challenges, that you ignore and deny, because your blinded by your success and winning vibes in life. And as a Coach of any Sports Team ,you have too be aware of your players feelings, while having a healthy environment.

George Karl was an Adam-Bomb-Garbage-Pail-Kid-looking-Dollar-General-Dean-Smith-Tree version of Larry Brown with his passive-aggressive buck-passing transient nature, media-campaigning, superstar-hater, play-the-game-the-right-way-in-the-Lord-of-the-Four-Corners-name-while-taking-everything-personally-refusing-to-treat-the-young-black-men-who-made-him-rich-like-human-beings, while forcing his non-balling son upon a league he never shoulda been in.
And after everyone got tired of that act…he caked off talking shit about all his old players with his brigade of YT media buddies helping to promote it.
Same thing woulda happened to Feel Jackson if Mike didn’t get sick of Doug Collins or if Apex Shaq hadn’t been ready to win.
You can only get away with being a dickhead who takes digs in the press for so long without winning.
Even Larry Brown knew that, which is why he negotiated to steal Rick Carlisle’s job during the 2003 ECSF while simultaneously being out-coached by him, because he had an chance to get into a better situation (after he decided not to draft Dirk or Pierce plus supermax 55 year old Mutumbo) while blaming Allen Iverson.
      Fuck both of them.
I can’t stand coaches who keep preaching accountability, yet stay telling reporters whose fault it is, then if they ever win take all the credit.

Looked up Karl's stats as a player, and it explains alot to me. He was an avg player. Didn't have great numbers. He made it to the League, so I'm sure he had aspirations of being a star player. But he played in San Antonio, George Gervin was the star and focus of the team. That could explain maybe why he was so hard on the star players. And also I think of the salary factor, the guys he coached made more money then the entire teams he played for. I think Karl was jealous, and envious of the players he was supposed to coach. The star players were living out his dreams, while he got to watch from the sidelines...

IMO Jackson is the reason Melo is not in the league anymore since he was the one who started the ground work of assonating Melo's character, the Owners and GM's took heed to all that SMH

I remember when George Karl was head coach for Milwaukee Bucks. He was gruff, and was probably a diva. But he helped the team elevate after years of losing.

Melo was laughing about that picture but I could tell it hurt him, that a man that didn’t know him hated him that much!!! That’s sad and ridiculous, guys like Melo had to fight and claw to stay in the league while p.o.s like Karl stayed until HE felt like he was done smfh

George Karl is that person that has something negative to say about anything positive even back hand compliments. You can win 100 million in the lottery & while everyone is happy for you he'll talk about "I hope you don't lose it all too soon because statistically you'll probably lose it within a couple of years so just think about what job you'll want to do in a few years but congratulations, I hope they didn't make a mistake and accidentally give you someone else's lottery winning"... straight up grey cloud.
