Thankyou very much. I wish I would have kept my old bass drum to my drum set just for this reason. Thinking about posting an updated version here soon.
@@zarekmichalski4995 Thanks Zarek, I looked for used 14" kicks recently. Have you seen "Roll the Bones" vid ? Shakey Graves used the bass drum and a tambourine. Cheers from Tucson, Arizona
ThePiperofSimms no I have not seen it. I’ll have to look it up. Colter I believe has a tambourine in his base drum in the brewery sessions videos. Makes for a great sound.
It is the hardest song I’ve ever learned. Definitely a tough one to sing and pick to at the same time but with the right amount of practice it definitely is doable. Gonna be posting an updated version as this version was a bit rough to what I’ve got now.
Thankyou, try playin it in a different octave. Do you have a capo? A lot of songs that I can’t sing like Tyler Childers songs I have to play in a lower octave because I can’t get as high as him.
Thankyou. And you as well! Sorry it’s taken me so long to respond. Have taken a break from the channel. Have had a lot go down in the last half year or so.
Should really do a video on how you play this song. Because your the only video I've seen without a kaybo it's be nice to be able to play this song without one.
When colter plays it he’s just tuned down a whole step anc capos the second which brings it back to standard e. I just play it in standard without tuning down. I wouldn’t be able to do banthem legends lesson any justice tho. He tunes it down and plays it like colter. Just remember every chord is the same it’s just higher or lower in octave.
@@zarekmichalski4995 ok thank you but I'm still kinda newer to guitar and I really want to learn this song but I need a step by step video to watch to play it
Ryan Drake right. I’m not good at teaching when I try to break it down and play it slow I always mess up. Bantham legend does a really good lesson. It’s broke down note for note and he displays tab on the screen. Best thing I can say about learning this song is just get the main picking pattern down. Once you get that the song is gravy. I don’t mean to disappoint you but I can’t do the lesson any where close to he does it I’d prob confuse you more. He’s got the best lessons on UA-cam. Literally note for note chord for chord with tab displayed if you can read tab. That’s who I learned the song from was his page. I think he capos the third like colter does in brewery sessions but it’s still all the same chords picking pattern and everything just higher in octave.
@@zarekmichalski4995 no problem thank you man. And don't think your disappointing me at least your responding unlike most people 😂. Have a great night and maybe you'll see my version of it soon 😂 not really maybe in like 100 years 😂😂😂
Ryan Drake lol Thankyou man. I hope his lesson helps. I searched and searched till I finally found his and it was the only one I could learn from. But just keep at it. It took me a couple weeks of playing it every day to get decent with it. But if you post it I’ll see it. I follow all my non private subscribers back(the ones I can see who subscribed to me) and I turn their notifications on so if hey post videos playing i can watch them. That’s the best part about this channel and others like it is sharing our music and covers with each other.
That was amazing my guy👌
Nice Zarek ! I'm still working on this tune. Will add kick drum after that. You played it so well. Thank you. Tucson, Arizona

@@zarekmichalski4995 Hi Zarek, You must watch that Audio Tree performance. You will probably like it. "Roll the Bones" Shakey Graves. Thx Z.
Great cover! 🙌 I did a cover of this but I found it hard to remember the picking while singing it 😂

Great cover dude! Working on this song myself at the moment!!! You have a way better voice for it than I do!
