I find pleural marriage intriguing but I always wondered why not just legally divorce then just marry the next wife. It's not as if there's not of Americans who have had multiple marriages and divorces.
Notthefather Yes you can only have one legal marriage at a time. However you can have multiple ex wives. Many Americans have had multiple marriages with subsequent divorces. Which thus makes them a legal ex wife and entitled to such things has health insurance and alimony.
