I think her answers about polygamy are spot on. She knows her character well. She is an amazing actress. I think the reporter who asked that question was the one in the wrong. Nikki Grant is a damaged complex person, no easy task. I have never seen one mistake by her or misread line. She is a genius.
Chloe was right in saying that adultery is not the same as polygamy, which not everyone may agree morally with it, but the way it is portrayed in this show is fantastic, because it shows the reality of it and makes the people real. And all of them are consenting adults, aware of the other wives..
That was an art movie, the guy in the scene is Vincent Gallo, a respected artist and director, they have known and trusted each other for many years prior to making that movie. What I thought watching her perform oral was how generous and beautiful she was in that scene. I think she was really brave and really represented positively for women and non-hetero men in that scene in a big way. She is an artist in her own right.
Big Love is such a fascinating television series.. It really dives deep into the underworld of polygamy, both the good (yes their are some good things about it) and of course the evil side (which we mostly hear about in the news). Chloe is so awesome in her role and she clearly deserved this award. Did someone really ask her about Tiger Woods? LOLz

This award is to honor her "work"...maybe a concept they don't understand. She is the reason Big Love was such a big success. This is a sorry commentary on the state of the entertainment press.

They asked her what she liked about this type of program awards show and she mentioned the fashion. The guy stepped on her dress and tore it, she did not condemn him, she just said explaining that it was better put together before that and the rain. She's big on wardrobe. She's a genius.
