These are rich men’s toys plain and simple! Shelby used to mean serious performance upgrades. These seem to be more appearance packages then anything else over a regular Raptor. The expanded metal light covers seems pretty home shop grade in execution. The tacked on trailer electrical connectors on the bottom of the rear bumper look to be a quick trail causality. Just wondering how many Shelby logos are needed to be applied through out the truck to remind the driver they are driving a Shelby?
Unless it's a gt350, gt500 which Shelby basically had nothing to do with all there shit is off the shelf aftermarket from other companies. Has horrible resale.

These trucks look pretty sweet to the untrained eye, but I guess if you're seriously considering a Raptor, I can't see that many advantages to get a Shelby Raptor instead.
I actually daily a 2018 Shelby raptor and honestly I think it’s built much better than this one. The trucks are tuned and make more power that is for sure 525 hp and 610 foot pounds torque is 75 more horses and 100 foot pounds torque more than a factory. The GEN two has better light bars better wheels better interior and in my opinion better suspension. GEN two comes with external reservoir shocks
And just overall looks better. I will agree I think $127,000 for a truck is beyond asinine I bought mine for 72500 with 40k miles And I drive the shit out of it.

If a vehicle supposed to be $100,000 and you can't find one for any less than $140,000 because all the stealerships are marking it up, dont buy it.
If no one will pay the markup, the markup goes away.

I’d prefer a regular Raptor w/ 37” package. Don’t need Shelby markup. Want more power? Get a $600 tune. Done.

Agreed. Also, Shelby fox suspension is a downgrade (35" tire setup) from the 37 performance package. Why do that? Short of the tune, intake, and intercooler, it's high priced eye candy.
Those are fricken sweet!! But I can't afford it.. so I settled for a 93 f250 460 instead..I always get compliments at the gas stations
Used to have a 460 getting 6mpg had to get a 7.3

Shelby also did a super duty Baja raptor using the 6.7 liter power stroke which looks awesome to I would like to see that on TFL

Sweet trucks and great video as usual from TFL Truck. The Raptor looks pretty good on 37's and I love the exhaust note. Personally if i could afford to order a new Shelby Raptor I would get it without the stripes or the dorky roll bar...

Obviously these are totally for those Shelby lovers out there. I think the Ford Raptor 37 sits well as is, needing just a tune and an ADD bed rack with lights. They also have an up/down switch. … Loved the intro! 😎🛻
I really am not sure what this truck is supposed to be. No way in heck I'd buy one. Just seems like a huge waste of money.
I always thought all Shelby trucks come with dual speed adjustable race coilovers and rear shocks. Sucks to see v6, brake covers, and stock suspension for that price. All in all bad ass truck.

Trx is dead .....no more hemi .....now what .....oh yah i forgot a turbo 6 cylinder. Too bad ford came out with that 14 years ago .....i guess if u cant beat them u join em .

I’m glad Dodge held out as long as they could and build some crazy vehicles to send off the v8 with a bang. If you can’t appreciate the trx for what it is you’re a twat. I love both trucks and yes I know the ford is more agile and probably handles desert running better. The Raptor is a great platform with a strong power plant. The Trx is just a supercharged psychopath that can handle a lot in its own right. Look outside your little blue oval and appreciate what the world has to offer.
Edit: don’t act like all the other manufacturers haven’t copied each other one time or another. Just look at design of the super duty and turbo diesels in general for that matter. Jeez. Looks just like a second gen ram 🧐

@@chadstellwagen3460 no fan boy ...i just learnt after owning 27 trucks from all brands who is the best ... sorry , btw i do appreciate what dodge has and is awesome, im just stating that the trx fan boys are unreal saying its the best truck and kills the raptor. I think both trucks are awesome but with my experience of dependability, the ford is better . I currently have 16 cargo vans and 6 trucks on the road and change every 2 years . The gm savana is better than the ford or dodge vans .....does that make me a gm fan boy ..... no its an actual fact i have all the service records to confirm. Thanks

It's one of the best sounding V6 engines, IMO. The VQ engines from Nissan are also great sounding.
I know you guys love the TRX. How did these compare? Good looking truck, for $130,000 would the mammoth 1000 be a better choice?

When I found nothing changes in some people's lives by gas prices, I know their thoughts should have nothing to do with me.
It's impossible to get one, but it would be SICK if someone swapped in a a fully built 4.0Ltr. Barra with Supercharged with a Water to Air intercooler or a twin turbo. Baffled catch can & all. That would be MAD!!!

We should be driving a Silverado ZR2 in a couple of weeks.
Speed bump is not meant for me comment. That is the most ridiculous reference to where the trucks live. In parking lots. But it raised the rant of why so many people in factory vehicles of any make and model will crawl over or try to drive around a speed bump in parking lots. It is absurd! I get it if people are trying to protect that fragile cargo that cannot be jostled because it cannot be strapped down. But it is inconceivable that the standard speed bump turns everyone from 10mph to stop, crawl and then continue. Meanwhile the rest of the parking lot is trying to go 10-20mph over them.(well some of us) IF your vehicle is so fragile it cannot go over a speed bump between 10-20 mph w/out fear of breaking, it is in dire need of replacement.

Can anyone tell me why my 2019 f150 Raptor with torsen front diff with 25 k miles on it , jerks when accelerating on dry pavement when 4W auto is selected ? 🙏
Does it jerk to the right? The transfer case could be engaging. Wouldn’t recommend running 4A on dry pavement.
Next time get the owners to tell us what they do for a living. Whoever can afford one and buy all that gas to go to Baja (thanks Joe) must have awesome paying jobs!

Great looking trucks but man I can’t fathom how people pay these prices, especially when they have a 2018 or 2020 Raptor already. I’m over here looking at a Rebel or Tremor and just can’t bring myself to do it when they end up at $70k w/ options.
It’s 1 of 2 reasons. 1… they make more money than you and it’s not a big deal, or 2…they finance the hell out of it. It’s the American way

If you need 3 spare tires, you're doing it wrong 😆 I suspect that it needs the weight in the back to keep it planted. So glad I got an XLT that I can upgrade a little at a time and save the extra $50k. Just got Borla s-type😃🤟

@@GhostlyGhille I got mine at american trucks for '17 3.5 ecoboost in 3 days. Dual side exit - I wanted dual rear but I have a kick step on the driver side that I use a ton. Installed this morning and I really like it, best v6 sound that is not too obnoxious. Just also put on a Roush cold air and Bilstein 6112 up front and 5100s rear and morimoto hybrid LEDs. It's like a new truck!

Thad be my first and last time seeing one of these trucks.
Things could be better with Ford/Whipple/Fox and issues around the Shelby Raptors. :( Own one with issues and you will find out quickly how you are stuck with a Junker right out the door. Get a non-Shelby and avoid headaches you end up with due to Fox (aka Tuscany).
So, tires , paint, upholstery badges , rims and a tune.... don't see the benefit of 50g more. But I'm sure ethey feel cool..

Love the trucks but having 3 spare tires is ridiculous! I'd definitely drop the OEM spare and one of the two in the bed to shed weight.
With 3 spares and a driver it's probably maxed out on payload. 3 spares is a little over kill.
@@joshgarner805 I get they are going after a true Desert Runner with the double spare tire setup they way they have it but for an on road vehicle that can go off road one would be plenty. If I were an owner of one I would have dropped the OEM spare as its now obsolete and just extra weight. At 45k over the price of a regular 3rd Gen Raptor I guess it softens the "blow" a bit having a 2nd spare. All they got suspension wise was space lifters in the front! They could've modified a 3rd Gen Raptor just like that for 10-12k...that Shelby branding cost a lot!
@@organicmechanic8170 I did drop my spare.. I don’t think Thomas had a chance to before. It could be some sort of regulation in order to sell the vehicle, because the stock 35 spare is pretty useless. Nothing we can do about the shock upgrades until Fox comes out with something better. Collars are as good as it gets right now.
Wish it had the 775 hp engine instead of the v6 eco boost one then it would be a really bad ass Shelby raptor
SHELBY should start with a base gen 4 5.0 model, at least the whipple will take it to 775hp to 800hp...who wants to spend all that and have not so great HP in a pretty expensive truck.
my 47 Willys has a v-8, 40's, and Dana 60 ultimates, it runs all day in the back country and I can afford to fix it if i break it. I had Fords for many years, 82 was the last one, not impressed since

A little dumb to spend 125k on a 70k truck where the only performance upgrade is a $600 tune. For that money buy your own 37 raptor package do a godzilla or Coyote swap. you can buy the best of the best suspension, seats etc and still have money left over.

At 5 bucks a gallon and probably rising when the government begins pushing EV's I'll take the V6 in my truck & the supercharged V8 in a sports car that can get 20 MPG and run 10 seconds in the 1/4. But then again I saw this coming and that's why I bought a Raptor & C7 Z06 Vette. Gotta plan for the future and they don't have the battery technology yet for enough range on a full size offroad truck and I'm not getting forced into one because some fk'n Lib in office says so.

It's not so bad though causebI went with the 2.7 Ecoboost for mileage cause it's my daily driver and need it to pull the boat too but without pulling and driving good it gets 9 to 10L/100km or 1360 -1500 km to a tank st least. Premium is $1.86/L!!! Getting shiity😬
