To be honest, we don't make laws unless something has happened. We are more reactive. When we can link a law to a situation/case, it becomes less apposed, Last longer, and more practical. So if it hasn't happen, we can't just make a law stopping it. (Unless it is for the name of security, of course).

It's only the women's division that needs special protection because the whole reason it exists as a separate division is because we recognize that females have inherent athletic disadvantages compared to males.

The research he points to never asks "why" a child identifies as trans; the reason it stops halfway through the query is that it actually reveals their problems overwhelmingly come prior to the "revelation", and are usually the actual cause of it. TA's cut off the query where it is convenient to their aims, claiming transphobia against anyone who digs deeper. Ask where the trans feeling comes and you will find that those kids who try suicide are running from sexual abuse, bullying or fear of accepting their own homosexuality, and our answer is to help them hide in a play act of the other sex instead of helping them come to grips with who they really are.
We should be able to sue politicians who signed these bills when someone’s kids get hurt.

You can't compare two completely different groups with different rulesets. Women's basketball and Tennis both have different regulations compared to the men's leagues.

Also, there have been many suicides with trans kids who then tried to reverse their irreversible transition, and realized they couldn't.

Women's basketball teams do often practice against guys, but that's not a game, it's controlled. And if you look at the guys selected, they aren't monsters, they're about the same size. A knew a D2 college basketball player, 7 ft tall and built. He was a decent basketball player among men, played a couple seasons with lower level teams in Europe, not making the minimum WNBA salary. Even if you put him on hormone blockers, he's still destroying any woman in the WNBA.
As for his classmate, Evelyn Ashford's record, WR at 10.79, later eclipsed for Flo-Jo at 10.49, doesn't compare to the US high school boys record of 9.89.
As for being considerate of trans people, that's fine, but why does it have to come at the cost of being considerate of females, biological women. Certainly, as many of them are being left out, put at risk and made to feel unsafe as the trans kids. As for suicide, I doubt that not playing on the girls team will cause it, the causes are much deeper than that.
How are the female athletes being left out. They're allowed to participate.put at risk? You do realize the risk of injuries in sports is present with or without trans people playing. If you feel unsafe around a trans person you are transphobic. that's like saying I feel unsafe around blk people.

I'm just flabbergasted that this is actually being debated in Congress. Here's what the best women tennis player said about playing against one of the best men tennis players: “If I were to play Andy Murray, I would lose 6-0, 6-0 in five to six minutes, maybe 10 minutes. No, it’s true. It’s a completely different sport. The men are a lot faster and they serve harder, they hit harder, it’s just a different game.”
