The fundamental truth that people ignore is that the only reason women's sports exist is to give women a place to compete where they don't have to compete with men. In reality "men's sports" aren't actually "men's sports". Most of them have no rule excluding women. If a woman was good enough to play in the NBA then she could. It's just that no women is good enough to compete in the NBA.

And in case of same weight... womens has different body, so she will need to be much heavier than him to be equaly strong and looses because of it. If a team boycotts the league will probably just kick the school's team out of the league or suspend it to send a message. if a player boycotts theyll just get kicked off the team to send a message - it's nearly impossible to get everyone to correlate together at the same time because of how much college tuition money is on the line.. its not reasonable to expect players to risk their entire future for this cause. Communities need to start voting for the right people.
Just kind of happened in my country (Netherlands). Two female darts players withdrew from their national darts team because a transwoman joined their team. Hope this is a start and others will follow.

Most of these girls have been training at their sport for a long time, they may have aspirations of going pro, or at least getting a good university scholarship. They don't want to make waves and throw it all away. Same reason most people in corporations know this is bullshit but go along with the woke campaigns because they don't want to get fired.

I’m sorry but this is not the way to handle things. You can’t go in front of a congress with a video a white policeman abusing a black man and ask the commission to support a bill against racism because of a recording of one case. That’s not how this process works. By doing this she made a fool of herself and a step back from women justice in sport.
The video they showed them is pointless. Women also get injured by other women who are stronger. These examples could just as easily been woman on woman and caused the same injuries. Don't get me wrong, I fully support the cause of trans men being banned from womens sport, but this video really didn't further the cause. The problem is not injuries but the inequality in competitive ability due to men being biologically stronger and faster.
Why don't they create their own league? It's quite simple to organize without drama and wasting time on such news.

I do believe that is the solution, but why hasn't been proposed or done by the right institution, us beyond me.

Too expensive (upfront and ongoing)
No audience
Not enough players to make the competition.
The irony would be that if such a league were ever to get off the ground it would eventually move to two classifications Trans Women and Trans Men.

I think the limited clips in the film made a poor argument. Much more persuasive is that not a single woman has transitioned to male and then made a success of competing against biological males. Not one. Whereas there are now multiple examples of males who have transitioned to female not only competing but dominating their chosen sport. There is clearly a biological advantage.
actually the problem was the bad quality film with no context at all for people unfamiliar with it and a bad presentation. this stuff needs more exposure and more people fighting against it but this was not a well done statement on her part.

Honestly video 1 and 3 could happen in any girls game, nothing relevant. Video 2 is the only one proving a point. They should have prepared better examples, and send a less screechy woman-speaker.
I don't understand how the hockey incident fits into this. If you get hit in the face by the ball you're done for, it doesn't matter who swings the stick.
I don't know. The first dirty play indoor was clear because I've seen it before. The 2nd outdoor not so much as the camera failed to zoom in to the incident so those presenting as evidence really messed up by not zooming in on the incident or showing the incident slow-mo, back and forth a few times for clarity

@@BryanTorokvolleyball is the only sport I am familiar with but for basketball, I think the guy was doing a steal which typically would just rip the ball out of the player's hand instead of leaving her on the ground, especially not on the ground INJURED, and the last game (idek what it's called), the guy hit the girl in the face which I think was an honest mistake, but perhaps the strength difference is what led to her howling out in pain like that (if it was even her)
I agree this was something that I asked myself up on watching 3-5 minutes of this...
The topic is trans students wanting to play sports... it was a self-explanatory video...
And for those to question or make this woman feel or look incompetent and undermine her standing is just appalling.

Exactly, I grew up with an older brother, 3 years. By the time he was 15 I was overpowered every time.
Yep! I have three brothers. When we were little kids I could fight with them, but as soon as we got older it was absolutely out of the question that they ever played rough with me. None of them have ever hurt me, but I am acutely aware of how much stronger they are, and have been since puberty. My younger brother is 6'4 and can pick me up with one arm effortlessly.
Male strength is not a joke and it sickens me seeing all the media out there of "badass strong women" who are portrayed going toe to toe with much bigger men and beating them. I think it genuinely influences impressionable women that they could ever hope to win a fight with a man.

Sports will hurt anybody in some way. Some injuries, getting the ball in the face or similar is completely normal and that's it with all-girl-sports as well.

The fact that they said they didn't understand the video shows how dangerously deceptive and demonically dishonest politicians can be. Who ever claimed not to understand this video should hide his/her face in shame.
For those politicians to say they couldn’t make sense of the videos makes me think they aren’t the right people for the jobs they do. There was no question in the minds of the intelligent people who watched and commented on the videos.
It means those examples are not enough to make decision, not enough to consider it because they are trans People. Accident happens in sport. All cis men are not equal neither, all cis-women neither.
Those video looks like cherry picking. And you can't take political décision, with this. You need real data.

There are no cis-women or cis-men, only men and women. But there are indeed fake men and fake women, which some of our mentally challenged brothers and sisters like to fancy as "real" and "special" kind of men and women.
