Greg, as kids my brother, cousin, and I use to make small shelters (we called them forts!) when we would visit our grandparents in Puerto Rico and use Banana leaves in the same way from their coffee and banana farm. Your shelter brought back some great memories and a smile on my face! ¡Gracias señor!
Cranbrook here Greg love the content on eating wild plants since I live in the same area as you. I don't think I've seen skunk cabbage before which is pretty cool. Keep up the good work man 🇨🇦🍁🇨🇦

Greg my wife and I love every bit of your videos. We love how knowledgeable you are, and we enjoy learning from you. Been watching since you started the channel and we enjoy every video. Thanks for the amazing content brother, keep it up!
Finley is a lucky dog. He's doing very well with you, you can see that immediately. You can count yourself lucky to have such a great companion and friend by your side. I wish Finley a long, healthy life. Unfortunately I have just lost my 14 year old Belgian Shepherd Lea (Malinois) myself. Many greetings from Germany Torsten
Greg you are a wealth of knowledge. Also such a kind, compassionate man. You are the epitome of a good human being. I live in White Mntns, N.H. I'm 61 and have a degenerative spine disease which limits my time in the woods now. You're videos help me relive the years I've spent here in the mountains of NH. If you are ever in the area...you have a free place to rest your head and have a good meal.
I love greg ovens his videos always makes me feel at ease. After months and months of working i just turn on my tv go to youtube sit back relax and watch some greg ovens perfect.
Remember getting lost in the woods at night, as soon as I knew I was lost I stoped and made a kickass Fort all with no flashlight, and you never leave the house without a lighter thanks for that greg!!

Those shots of you sitting next to the shelter with your pup convey a deep satisfaction which is clearly genuine, something which is rarely seen in todays world. Also, you need a Silky Katanaboy. It will change your life.
you are the best greg, don't let anyone tell you that you talk too much. Talk as much as you want because we are all here for it, the others can go watch your ASMR channel if they don't want to hear talking
Finn is so sweet! Thanks for your videos, so helpful and I'm learning so much. Thank you for all your time and care that you put into your informative videos. Much appreciated!!!

@@Jib230181 You're welcome. When Greg was 'asking' for suggestions to name his dog, and myself also being a British Columbian, I presented a whole list of great names for him to name his pup, but unfortunately when he was stuck with that very odd name, I knew that no one will ever 'get it right' if you know what I mean! Well, Greg is now resorting to shorten his name to 'Fin'.....and even that doesn't work! In my personal opinion, It was an all around bad name for his pup....but what do I know.....huh!
Hello. My name is Jackie. I saw you on my favorite TV show alone Patagonia. I’m so glad you have a UA-cam channel now and I can watch and learn from you. I started learning about Bush craft one year ago. And I’ve been watching alone for the past year. I wish I could do what you guys do but unfortunately my health is declining fast. The most I get to do is go to a local pub. And I try to gather what I can. I want to go to a big place and find berries and mushrooms that I can forage and cook and eat. I am a dialysis recipient right now and can only go on a camping trip for the weekend Friday to Monday. But I am working towards getting a new kidney so I can get off dialysis and live out in the wilderness for weeks on end. Because my heart belongs in the wilderness. I love it love I love the outdoors! So I’ll just enjoy watching you and learning from you. I am so proud that you’re able to do what you can do. Thanks for sharing your bush craft skills with me.
Thanks to all of you for your support and kind comments too.
