Did my first solo winter camping trip (with my dog) in Feb of 22' at Kump Lake in BC, just north of Princeton. Hauled all my gear in a ski pulk and snowshoes up a hill for about 250 meters. Took my four trips (brought too much stuff) and spent 2 nights in a Luxe tipi tent with a wood stove. NO ONE around, just some elk passing though here and there. Got down to -18C at night. Didn't get to bed until 1:30am the first night, I was SO exhausted. Winter camping is a lot of work if you want to keep a fire going in your tent but it's a great experience. I've since done it a few times in different areas of BC and just LOVE it! No bugs, no bears, NO PEOPLE! Beautiful footage Greg!

This is how all our ancestry lived... Homes cost money, stress, anxiety, pride, ego, fear... cars cost us fuel, oil, accidents, rage. We pay the bills, electric, gas, water, sewage, some pay for heating oil. The old days, and ways may of been tough, but a better person was the payoff... learn to start a fire, field dress small game, identify plant edibles, build shelter, meditate, respect nature for the wealth of life it provides, instead of destroying nature for the money it provides.

Thanks for taking us with you. I used to do a lot of winter camping when I was young and I miss it. One day I may get back to it.

If we all lived like this there would be plenty of meat, fish, edibles and everything we need. And the world wouldn't be on the brink of destruction. God Bless Greg i hope i meet you one day im working on getting a visa for B.C.

Every other survivalist youtuber- builds a leanto, snow shelter, or elaborate tent. Greg- sleeping bag and a fire. I know that its just an overnight camp but still XD

Winter camping is the best. No bugs, snakes or people around and you can actually enjoy a fire. 🇺🇸

I don't know if you will every read this Greg, but I want to let you know something.
I am sitting here in my home office in Germany, watching your videos every day. I really appreciate your way to explain things, to show things and I really like your voice when working my ass up here.
For a guy from a country where you can't even find that kind of wilderness, it's incredible interesting. I very hope you will not stop doing new content and really wish you all the best! :)
    Best Wishes from Germany!
    Markus

This is how you survive in the bush: you just bring a chicken with you. It's a lot easier then hunting
