Wow, Mike. Super interview! I have seen the EFX brand before, but never knew anything about them. It is very cool to know that Jeff and I were competing at about the same time. When he was talking about doing the research on his product, it reminded me of the many hours I spent in the local library with my nose stuck in the Indicus Medicus researching anabolics. So now I have to go home and toss the creatine I am currently taking, and checkout theirs. Many thanks! Are you able to recommend a supplement for muscle fatigue?
Maybe I missed it, but I am a little unclear;
He says that he used to license Kre Alkalyn to other companies. Later, these two partnered up and started EFX and sold Kre Alkalyn directly.
But, today, there are still a few companies that sell products called "Kre Alkalyn" and are highly rated, certified, etc.
So... Is Kre Alkalyn sold by companies other than EFX still legitimate Kre Alkalyn? He makes it seem as though nobody else knows how to make the stuff other than him, so for other companies to sell their own, they would have either had to figure it out (which he says they haven't) or they source it from him (which I thought he said he stopped doing when he made EFX and started selling it himself).
But then again, since he has the patents, how could other companies sell a product called "Kre Alkalyn" if it isn't, in fact, real Kre Alkalyn?
I could see where that would be confusing but yes, anything Kre Alkalyn is made by them or more specifically Dr. Jeff’s co. All American Pharmaceutical. They also are a manufacturing company for other supplement companies.
When anyone states they sold something for a marketing ploy tells me they are greedy and dishonest.
I'm not trying to directly defend him, but I wouldn't take that one line too out of context. I don't think he saying he was directly trying to take advantage of people only that at the time most creatine was being pushed with sugar as a means to better margins. I actually took it other way in that the fact that he also goes on record admits that's what was going as being honest. Pretty much every sports nutrition supplement is marketed on the 30day serving size, which when you get down to brass tax is doing the same thing. But I appreciate you watching and the comment brother.
