Going over my overall thoughts about the convention and what brands / products stood out to me. I tried to be fairly brief and not go into in depth with this as there may be some things I will get into on future videos. Overall though, these were my general thoughts.

You make interesting exercise equipment. I just ordered the monster curl bar and revolving ladder from your company. I am looking forward to using them even though I am a 67-year-old exercise enthusiast, who has never arm wrestled and has no desire to do so. I suggest you consider marketing your products to exercise enthusiasts, who want to increase the maximum number of pull-ups they can do. For instance, pull-ups are one of the strength and endurance skills tested in the United States Marine Corps physical fitness test. In my opinion, your grip training devices will aid cross-fitters, exercise enthusiasts, and U.S. Marines wanting to improve their pull-up numbers by increasing the time they can hang on to a pull-up bar.
@@shiwakuseven5859 yes grip strength is not trained to the level is should be IMO by many different athletes.
As for the marketing aspect I make everything myself but I am in a position I need to make a decision about hiring another employee as I am
at capacity of what I can do solo, so the marketing happens organically. Appreciate the kind words!
That ATX hack squat/leg press combo is FIRE. At least from observation. We need some of their quality tweaks to our US models. Wish they shipped overseas. Thanks for the video.

One of my regrets from this conference is not spending more time at the ATX booth and playing more with Titans belt squat. Thanks again for watching.

Hey man great review! It was great seeing you too! I can tell you that Saturday was definitely more active than Friday. It was cool watching all the competitions that day too. I'm not sure if you saw but there actually was a Harambe booth there too but I think they got lost in the shuffle. I think there should have been more portable representation and hopefully next year there will be. Moving to Louisville will probably bring in more people too because there's an airport right there.
Thanks Frank, not a detailed production but more of a rundown of my experience. Good to hear about Saturday, I figured that would be a bigger turn out. I did catch Harambe and talked to the "GOOB" man for a bit, but believe or not just forgot to film footage of their booth. I think you're right about the next year being a bigger deal being near an airport. Awesome seeing you there and meeting you again. Now you got to let me know if you're going to some comic cons.

Its such a fun time, and it ended way too quick. I cannot wait for next year in Louisville, however something about French Lick connects with me.
I ended up not checking as much stuff out as i would have liked as it was so easy to connect with people and spend forever talking about equipment.
I hear you. I loved the location, minus the close calls on that narrow back roads in.

I loved getting to see Indiana. I don't think I would have ever seen it any other way. I stayed in Salem.

It would be great to have one of these closer to home (Long Island, NY for me). It would also be great to have a variety of the sliding bench vendors there, to give potential customers a chance to try out the different brands and different models. Same with some of the new electronic home gyms, and certainly with that Flexicon machine you just featured. Good clip!

ATX was definitely my favorite booth. Great bunch of guys and I ended up taking home a bar from them.
They probably had the cleanest most professional looking booth. One of my biggest regrets was not spending much time in there. I think my brain just saw big machines that I knew weren't for me or at least couldn't fit in my garage.
Looks like a lot of fun you must have been a celebrity there!

Definitely felt like a lot of “iron” like you mentioned and was really laid back. I enjoyed it and all the vendors were very friendly and willing to share. Agreed that it felt awkward to try stuff out since I didn’t see too many people trying stuff. I’ll go back next year to Louisville
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I wasn't sure if it was just me that was noticing that. I actually had my intensions set on getting on a full workout at the convention.

Maaaaan I knew I saw you up there bro. I was on the phone with my wife and I passed by you and I knew that was you but my wife was talking to me about several things.
I was in the arm grip competition and paid for it with a jacked up hand for now! lol super sore😂 . Wish I had a chance to speak with you in person and all . I stayed till Saturday evening and drove back home 4hrs away

@@hybridresistance Saturday was about the same. Depending if you stayed for more deadlift completion and all. Toward the end was where most vendors were selling their equipment for half off and even more to the degree that it was a giveaway. It was great meeting people and building the community more.
Honestly I have mixed feeling towards the DJ and some things but overall the event was well put together and positive. Convos were great, comedy and competition. It took a bit to warm up to some people ..
I wish more vendors were there but things happen which is understandable. Next year indeed

That's pretty cool! 💯💯💪💪I'm getting the comic-con feel from some of these folks though💯💯😂😂 It's akin to looking at the back of a comic book from the 70s or 80s with Charlie Atlas....and the zit popper machines. God bless your soul for having that kind of patience. Pretty neat concept though. I would actually go if something like this was nearby. I bet there were actually some pretty cool gadgets, doodads, and thingamajigs. If I ever do go though...I call dibbs on the Ronnie Coleman cosplay. Btw, nothin beats that guy playin' Pebbles n' Bam Bam with the Mallet though💪💪💪💪💪💪💯💯😂😂 Best video ever! I know you had fun!!!!!!💪💪💯💯

What's the device called from Armed Assassin's that was a practical bag for your buck?
It was the "Inch Axel Wrench" I believe the 2 2/8" size with three hold bar and then a loading pin for weights. I may even make a whole video on it because it wasn't the most intuitive thing to use w/out the tips he gave me at the convention.
I would be tempted to buy more stuff lol
I saw the Ironmaster bench. Did you, by chance, get a close look at it? if so, what did you think?
I did jump on it for a little bit, but it honestly wasn’t something that I looked too much into. I was definitely spending a lot more time just playing with the dumbbells as I never saw those up close.
Iron master product are great . IM 2000 and bench are One of the best piece of home Gym equipement! We will see IM 3000 this year ?!
Next year will be in Louisville, so should be easier to attend. Were you there on Saturday also? Better crowd & more energy than Saturday, IMO.
No I was actually only there for the set up on Thursday and Friday so I could see how Saturday would have been a better turn out.
Titan Squat Max MD BEST leg machine ever built glad its in this video. I added 30%+ strength and 2 inches to legs in 2.5 months with it. I also am huge fan of Rep's cambered bar for chest, back and its my favorite shoulder press just feels so good.
I'm eyeing that Squat Max HD, but I don't know where I'd put it. Comments like this though are making me think I need to fit it in.
@@hybridresistance I kicked my wife out of garage her car that is for it and it works. I am getting so strong and quads blowing up. I'm 53 and did 240lbs for 10 reps today its at least 40% harder than regular squats weight wise but I feel safe on it as I can't hurt lower back/hips etc. I still squat but usually 135lbs warmup, 185x15 and maybe 225x10 to 12 just a set or two some days for hips, lower back etc. It really doesn't have that big a footprint 25-35% smaller than Rogue Rhino which might be #2 best belt squat. If I didn't have cable system would have bought that one for bent over rows/shrugs and easy setup but damn its huge. If you get the Titan use box knife to cut off foam on weight loading pin it adds resistance and add 7/8" PVC pipe fits perfectly and is smoother. I failed early on on 8th rep was rubbing and I couldn't lift it up. Now buttery smooth. Showed it to a couple I met at community pool who lift he loved it and did 150lbs for 8 or 9 reps said he wishes his gym had it. His wife did 100lbs for 8 or so reps my wife doesn't squat can barely lift 50lbs for 5 reps. If you want strong big legs a must have! Feels good on back like having spine pulled a bit and hanging for 45+ secs on pullup bar.

I saw some but nothing really too crazy. At least from what I saw. I was surprised at how many people didn’t have things on site to actually purchase because there was a couple things I wanted to pick up, but they didn’t have in stock at the show . There were definitely deals to be had if you were ready to purchase equipment on site as many companies wanted to offload the equipment and not have to pack it and ship it back. that is probably one of the biggest perks about attending something like this.

ATX was selling their whole both. A multigrip tricep bar was all I could fit in my luggage though. Some were selling their floor benches off too. Nice bars too.
Is this convention going to other cities too?
No, it’s only held once a year I believe. Word on the street, it will be in Louisville next year.
I didn't now this was a thing. I might have to try to make it one year, if they keep it going. Did you see any other UA-camrs? Coop from Garage Gym Reviews come to mind.
The only person I recognized was the Glucks Gym guy, but that was pretty much it. I went up and said hi to him briefly (don't think he knew who I was). I'm sure he'll have a big video coming out because he had what looked like a videographer with him. Like I was saying I don't think I'm as involved in that "community" as much or follow many people to recognize anyone. There really wasn't many people there which I don't know if it was just the marketing of the show or just a representation that this community really isn't that big in general. I think you would have loved it though. You probably could have had your own booth with some of your home make equipment.

Haha I have the original pepin fast dumbbells they are amazing best piece in my home gym …pricier then my ironmaster 2000 tho 😂
I'm trying to figure out what the major difference in the original versus these newer ones versus just being mass produced overseas compared to Canada.

Whose rack was better , Bolt or Vesta?
Kind hard to say off memory. They both stood out to me on the cost, but the vesta looked a little more compact.
I thought Bolt but that's just my impression. Bolt was showing more attachments.

Rogue was a complete azz to Tim with GymCrafter. They said they were not doing any interviews at all for social media. They are lagging behind in product development, and they know it. They probably are tired of people asking what they’re doing or what Products they will be coming out within the future.
Also the Rep-pins dumbbells look SO SWEET!!
I can’t say anything specific to them as I didn’t really inquire too much, but it definitely wasn’t a show where I felt the big companies were actively coming out to pull you in.
I don’t see how them not wanting to do an “official” overview on a small time UA-camrs channel is them being an ass. They could have had a “clause” of some sort to not do any social media “interviews” on a new piece of equipment releasing in a few days. As a UA-cam reviewer, he should have done his own review for his subscribers and not let his own disappointment run him away.

I thought you were going to talk about the equipment there. You already talked about the rep peppin in a video. I heard the rouge fm-6 was there. I have looked all over UA-cam and have not found any coverage. There was not a lot of equipment or people there. Why not cover everything? I did not see you cover bells of steel. If you going to do something? Do it right. Were y’all trying to meet a quota? This is like people filing for government assistance. Did y’all go for the event or sponsorship/grant? Are you an essential company? LOL
Thanks Lamar for the comment. This video actually came out before my peppin db video. I hear what you’re saying but like I said in the video, this was very last minute decision. No one sponsored me to come or anything, just came actually with my one of my kids and another family member for fun. So that was another reason I couldnt spend hours at the event. Other part is the time I was in pool with my son. Despite that, I was there for a decent chunk of time. This is just one man’s general thoughts about what stood out to me. If I didn’t mention it in this video, it really didn’t stand out to me.

@@hybridresistance yep, that rack insert is something that Nate at ExecutiveFit and I discussed at HGC '23 and he brought it this year to get feedback. It'll eventually make it's way to my gym. Hope to meet you next year!
