@@toeknee3302 Yeah tis a shame that the PSV hasn't got anywhere near as many decent games as the PSP, which has some awsome exclusives that can't be played anywhere else (except on the Vita in BC mode), like Pilot Academy for example. Tbh the best games on the PSV are actually PSP games, especially on a modded PSV with double resolution, GTA Liberty City Stories & Vice City Stories look and play superbly, SONY missed such a gargantuan opportunity in not releasing a GTA game on the Vita, GTA 4 as a launch title would have sold so many consoles for them, as would Vita ports the GTA 3/VC/SA with updated visuals in qHD (960x540), maybe a couple new radio stations for good measure. Then there are other PlayStation associated IP's like Metal Gear Solid, again an updated version of which (especially as a launch title) with spruced up visuals in qHD would have almost certainly shifted a few million consoles for SONY, MGS2 and 3 were ok ports but they could have been miles better with better visuals given how much more juice the PSV has over the PS2. There are so many Resident Evil games that would have been proper sweet on the Vita, the RE1 remake, remasters of 2/3 again in qHD would have been perfect for the handheld, it could have easily handled a decent port of RE4 too in qHD, all of which would look tasty af on the OLED screen, the Crash Bandicoot games would in qHD/updated textures also really have popped on the OLED, so a Crash trilogy collection (again especial at or near launch) would have been another perfect IP for the Vita. The PSP/PSV also had PlayStation MINI's too, the handheld equivalent of XBOX Arcade (another great platform that I miss that had some amazing titles), which had some really awsome smaller sized simple mostly arcade style type games, or they were updated arcade ports, a lot of them were of a fairly high quality and really well-made, far better than your average ad filled smartphone game of today's standards, something the NSwitch would be better off having instead of just flooding the normal eshop with all the smartphone type games that are on there, there were some excellent Minis though, and they were very cheap, two of my faves were Blast Off and Retro Cave Flyer. Malicious Rebirth is one of those games you know would not be popular, but man the aesthetics and gameplay went so hard It has that obscure ps2 era action game energy that i miss so much nowadays
Some weapons are op and make the game easy. There is a mod (for pc, and modded vitas) that balances all the weapons, though it makes reapers too strong if you know how to use their combos.
No BS in the beginning. That's what I want to see. No ridiculously long intro. No "hit the like button and don't forget to subscribe" --- just a quick intro and straight to the content.
The Binding of Isaac rebirth is one of my top 3 games of all times , and it is on psvita , I have platinum trophie, but non the less I still play it almost every day . I have more time played on it than any other game .
Chaos Child and Muv Luv (which just released on vita) are great games that I haven't seen anyone mentioning. Also, if you know japanese, you can get Chaos Head, the sorta prequel to Chaos Child, on vita. All are extremely gripping and great VNs. If you don't like VNs, which is understandable, there's also Demon Gaze 2, stranger of sword city and Shiin (japan only, but great horror dungeon crawler/adventure game).
I've never seen the anime, but I heard it wasn't that good. By the way, Chaos Child is already released on vita. If you meant Chaos Head, you only need japanese in order to play Chaos Head Noah on vita, which adds extra heroine routes to the game. You can play the original Chaos Head game on PC with an english patch, which may take a little bit of digging around to find.
@@adeadalienn2457 I don't think the anime for ChaoS;Head/Child is bad if you have no plans to play the VN. I mean they are rushed af but you can still enjoy them. I might give ChaoS;Child VN a try later when I forget the anime. I actually love VNs but I was in a hurry so I watched the anime instead, and I personally never saw anyone other than me that enjoyed it lol
If only their was more non-otome VNs for Vita. I'm still looking forward to get Punchline and Fata Morgana (hoping to get physical for both). I already bought Muv-Luv Double Pack when it came out and I'm so excited to try it. I recently watched Kimi ga Nozomu Eien which I believe shares some characters with Muv-Luv. (Akane Maniax OVA). We should have also gotten YU-NO remake but alas. Western version will only release on PS4/Steam.
Death Mark is also coming out in english in October, and Catherine and NG are confirmed to be releasing in japanese. Sadly, the otome market is large in Japan, which is why the market is so over-saturated with them. At the very least, it gives companies like Dramatic Create the funds to create and port galgames and plotges to the vita, so it does have its uses.
This is what i called hidden gems.. after all these years i am still new to many of these.. i have bought some of those games before but never heard many of these titles before...

I quite like the VN and otome games the vita has on the Japanese store. Amnesia V Edition and the two fan disks (Later x Crowd and World), Code Realise, Collar x Malice, Hyakka Hyakurou and Steam Prison are a few of my favourites in that they have emotional and well written stories as well. I've heard many are being translated now as well.

Great video man, very much enjoyed! Finally a list that doesn't contain P4G, Killzone, Gravity Rush and Uncharted for the billionth time in a row.
Haha thanks mate I appreciate that!
But what about Persona Rush: Golden Mercenaries?
these are amazing games apart p4g...
Underfell Sans 101 I like it but it is overhyped tho
MangakasDream Disagreed. Overhyped implying it doesn’t live up to the hype but P4G does.
Vita fans deserve an apology bow from sony honchos for their blatant ignoring of this amazing handheld.
