Hey Rob! The reason that Nightmare was able to be ripped away from the living realm by Deadman is because previously it was stated that if you die in the nightmare you die in the real realm, so his body died to achieve the full power of the nightmare stone!
I'm surprised Dr. Hate wasn't actually Superboy Prime. Then again, he's got enough hate to break dimensions.
I was actually think that this was Prime as well.
Wouldn’t make sense. Last we saw him he was on his world again and was happy. Like actually happy for the first time in decades, he wouldn’t leave that just to become some new villain when he’s plenty powerful on his own without those two objects

Rob forgot that in one of the other videos, he said that Insomnia killed his body and transitioned to the real world from the dream. That's why he was able to be dragged to death realm.

We need an origin of that Helmet of Hate. For Fate/Nabu not to have knowledge of that, that's on of the wonky parts. Also, this new Doctor Hate has a feathery mottif in his design. Could it be a different Carter Hall?

Also, can you really count that? There are plenty of times when a character is taking the power of another character. Later on we find out either it wasn't the full power, or the character that stole the power isn't capable of wielding the full power.

What pissed me off about Insomnias Origin story, and why he’s mad at the Justice League was THIS WHOLE THING WAS 100% his own damn fault. His family was concerned and wanted to leave because of the JL battle and Insomnia jus goes “Nah, we’re fine, JL got it.” and now you want to blame them?

I hope doctor hate ends up being someone like Clarion so they basically can do a lords of order vs lords of chaos story.
Does Clarion have a family? I think the video mention something about the family not liking him doing what he did by making the helmet and donning it.
Insomnia died last issue to unleash the Nightmare World. It was the final way to fully unlock the stone, and he killed himself in his own personal nightmare so he could achieve victory. So yes, he is a ghost.
Just real confused why Dream of the Endless hasn't gotten involved, if for nothing else to take back the dream/nightmare stone. Other than the writers choosing not to of course.
Because the fight would have been over in seconds.
My thoughts exactly, I commented on the last video suspecting he would do so....but never did. It's a shame in my opinion and would make sense for him to do so. He did in the original sandman story

Doctor hate sounds like a super villain from like a kids show from the early 2000s late 90s like a static shock villain
i like the artwork and i like tthe heroes they chose to spotlight during the event
I occasionally become self-aware in my dreams. every couple of weeks (years of training). The general term generally applied to that experience is Lucid Dreaming. And you know what i have discovered during those moments that it sucks, occasionally. It sucks because I can't take advantage of being aware that i am in a dream. No flying power blasting, super strength, or other cool abilities. It is sheer boredom for me when this occurs. The reason for my lack of dream reality altering, is due to me being so aware(awake) while in that dream. That the dream world is almost indistinguishable to this so-called reality we live in, specifically physics. The best example is from the Matrix (1999), Neo's failed Highrise jump in the construct program. Though aware he existed in a simulation, he still held onto the concept of gravity when he took that leap of faith and fell. The only positives from my experiences with lucid dreaming are :
1. I can force myself to wake up when I become bored during the experience.
2. I enter otherworldly dimensions/realities, with many of them being frightening, but fantastic to have experience.
3. If the dream is pleasant enough, I can renter it after a momentary wake up.
Insomnia and Injustice Superman would get along perfectly.
That's the secret, I'm always living my nightmare.

I was confused for a second. Without my eye specks on, I thought the thumbnail was of Kang the Conqueror.
What, no mention or brief appearance of Hal Jordan? I wonder if the two part mini series were better than the main line. As for Walker, she never trusted the Justice League. She would use them on occasion but never fully trusted them. I just hope this Doctor Hate is a brand new villain instead of an existing one getting a major upgrade. Problem is I can see Savage doing just this to finally get the power to defeat everyone. I do wonder if the dream stone and nightmare stone are anti-thesis of each other or more of two sides of the same coin.
This reminds me of that justice league doomsday movie, doomsday is on a comet being carried through space and an astronaut sees this and his teammate warns him to move the ship or thier going to die. Doomsday Is miles away but this guy won't move the ship because he believes super man Is Gonna save him ,long story short the ship and crew bite the dust because the captain even till the last second thought Kal was gonna save them but he didn't . The league can't be everywhere
I really want to dunk on the Dr Hate name but he does look like an evil Dr Fate... so it fits. I hate it, but it fits the design.

Batman/Catwoman Gotham War picks up the story of Batman directly after Night Terrors. He comes to 2 months after Night Terrors and immediately adorns the Cowl. Amanda Waller is amazing. The Wall will never Fall!
I wonder if they’ll bring Metalocalypse in to the story, so Dr.Hate and Dr. Rockso will battle.

They even switched the art a lil to try to match the old Vertigo Sandman series. A bit disappointing that they weren't trying to bring that back because that was a good series in it's own way. This is what the best is writing? I haven't been keeping up with DC for like 2 years, i hope this year is better

I had a feeling that the entire night terrors Ark was going to be wack and I was right. And seeing how it ended with "Doctor hate" just reassured me to be happy that I didn't waste time reading all those issues.

Made sense Insomnia scarified himself to get the stone so he would be a spirit.
Doctor hate looks like an evil fate or high evolutionary form Marvel not bad design wise but why honestly they should hace asked Niel for his permission to bring Daniel and collect the stone and unmake it not undoing anything that happened but foreboding the heroes on how faith in them has shaken and that they need to stand sturdy against the shifting and regain the hope in the heroes at the end of this storm.
So Amanda Waller is setting something up right... I refuse to believe one of the main antagonists of all the heroes is just now working as some minions or something... Out right REFUSE.
Y'all are forgetting that one order to get the nightmare stone a sacrifice is needed in order to get it into the realm world insomnia killed himself. That's why dead man was able to do what he did here.

Doctor Hate is going to FUCK everybody UP!!!!!!! With the stones powers, the strength, abilities and knowledge given to the Helmets wearer, the possible weakness would be that the actual Helmet of Nabu is itself scary and those fears weren't kept in check then they could be their own downfall.
idk, Doctor Hate seems kinda cool! theres nothing there right now but the design is solid and a play off of doctor fate. I just like the magic side crossing over more often lately.

DC comics is becoming more predictable. But this event was an appropriate way to use Boston Brand and reintroduce the second version of sandman.
I much preferred this event to other events I've been through, including the various crisis events.
As for Insomnia's punishment, I'm thinking that Dream of the Endless may have caused this. If you remember the first couple of issues, he punished the idiot who captured him with "The Curse of Endless Waking." This caused him to think he woke up, then things go wonky, he wakes from that dream only to have things go horrific again.

I mean...yeah. It's a little past due to the fact that if they hadn't done Doctor Hate until now, they probably shouldn't have. We have evil versions of almost every member of the Justice League, but did we REALLY NEED the opposite of Doctor Fate considering that there are SO many evil magic users in DC?

I know this is a wild take but if they're dealing with Dr.Hate in the future I want the JL to bring in Atrocitus to come help with that a bit. Give him the attention he needs. I know hate and rage is not the same but still.
I know that Amanda Waller is a government agent comfortable operating in grey areas. I get that, I LOVE IT.
But you have to question the judgement of handing incredibly powerful mystical artifacts called "The Helmet of Hate" and "The Nightmare Stone" over to any spellcaster she knows. Because, my money is on Felix Faust, whoever that is is definitely not the nicest of people start with and augmented by the godlike nightmare stone powers and the presumably Lord of Order level power of the Helmet of Hate, that's just trouble.
Unless she plans on unleashing that on TimeWarner Cable this is just uncalled for.
