Major Force Origin - This Cruel Unstable Murderer Was Made Into One Of The Most Powerful Being In DC

- In 1988, DC comics introduced us to a unique villain who, apparently, has the ability to stand and fight against the entire Justice League of America. This villain is known as Major Force, and his existence reeks of evil. Although he was not born with super powers, the day he gained them, he swore to use them for the most horrible causes and started his journey to being the worst nightmare of the last Green Lantern. In fact, his powers share a connection to the Quantum Field and have also made him immortal. But what are these unreal powers, and how did Major Force achieve them? Well, in this video, we will explore everything about this despicable DC villain. So, without further delay, let us dive right into the video.
The government: We have a guy in the brig who is clearly criminally insane. We should give him unlimited super powers.
Fr
What could go wrong?
**scratches head** why is that criminal decided to kill us? strange isn't it?
I wouldn’t doubt them doing that in real life 😂😂😂
Seems right
I like it when they have Major Force as a "rival hero" to Captain Atom instead of an outright villain. In the Young Justice comic tie-in, he almost made it into the Justice League before Captain Atom voted against him.
Imagine if Major Force was in Justice League: Unlimited.
I know, why wasn't he?
It would have been cool if they used him instead of turning captain atom against everyone but it was still cool
@@crazymulatto8981 The series ended too soon to involve enough of DC canon because of suits who did not see it as profitable enough. There are a lot of reasons behind the profit loss, and they were not happy with the silver and gold payout because it was less than the platinum they loved early on.
It was the corporate suit philosophy of kill things that profit less because they might not profit later. It's part of why art media tends to turn to sh^t and reboots are far more common than new stuff becoming produced.
@@That80sGuy1972 yes, that definitely makes sense, what a shame though...
@@That80sGuy1972 RIP
So Major Force sounds like an energy variant of Doomsday (he dies, only to be revived with new and unlocked powers he did not have beforehand) and he is an arch enemy of Green/White Lantern Kyle Ryner and Guy Gardner. He is Kyle’s Doomsday in simplest terms.
I like to think of it as DC’s Carnage
DC's Red Hulk
@@ATEG8374but more powerful. Major would stomp Red Hulk.
DC characters are so dark and twisted (I love it). It funny how the cartoons put a lighthearted spin on some their most notorious villains.
Hey so just some information, for fun and for free: sergeants aren't officers. They're the pinnacle of enlisted men. One of the first, maybe the second one, major force basis characters was a sergeant. I don't think it really matters but others might. Otherwise, as usual, great job
Major Force: I'm going to blast you with dark matter!
Green Lantern: I'm quite sure that's scientifically impossible.
Major Force: Bite me!
Scientifically impossible? Dude, your talking about comics, the comics where people exposed to radiation gain superpowers instead of becoming "melting cheese", comics where magic as concept exists outside of science, comics, where being thrown in space results in becoming god-like being and not just frozen to death
“One of DCs most demented characters.” Wow. Given the lineup of messed up characters in DC, that’s saying ALOT!
He was one of DC's most demented, POWERFUL characters.
He was a bit less demented than a lot of the not-so-powerful characters. Major Force was more evil than insane, albeit demented level insane.
Imagine if these guys were picked from Black Gate or Arkham as the guy they used instead of the criminal that Major Force was created upon: Mr. Freeze, Joker, Riddler, Sztaz (I think I murdered the spelling of that self-scaring assassin/serial killer), Joe Chill, Deadshot, Man-Bat, Scarecrow, Hush, Dr. Silvana, OG Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Bane, Black Mask, Captain Boomerang, The Top, The Ultra-Humanite, Calendar Man, Kite Man (imagine that guy on quantum power, and then you stop laughing), Two-Face, or even... even Penguin, that relatively pathetic penguin-looking fat guy who keeps getting beat down despite being underestimated as brilliant criminal. I imagine Penguin would, given being part of the experiment that created Major Force instead of the other guy, would be the most demented and power-abusing foil to Captain Atom. It's a virtual boy scout with godlike power vs. a power-abusing, cunning criminally-minded scumbag who loves to pretend to be a good guy in the public. It's an angel fighting a demon who is good at pretending to be an angel, who is good at making the angel look like the demon.
Want to play with me?
Who would you find as a better and far more dementedly evil than Penguin if he was chosen as the bad guy in the program that created Major Force? If you pick Joker, I will agree to disagree because he will just be some boring super-enemy that everyone from everywhere will need to kill. Think about it, think about the character. Who is better than Penguin for that "volunteer" to be a far worse subject than the rand-o bad guy for that subject that created Major Force to be an awesome and demented DC Comics villain? I'm guessing, despite my not knowing you at all, you are thinking Hush after I said Joker would be a boring one (unless you are a fan of might is everything type thing common in anime).
He created the “Stuffed into a Fridge” trope.
Yup. That's him alright.
Really? Interesting.
@@fakeadamsandler9180 Yep
I don't understand
@@chideraumejiaku3895 I believe it was his 1st appearance in Green Lantern, broke into newly appointed Green Lantern's Kyle Rayner girlfriend's apartment and killed her then stuff her body into the refrigerator.
Oh I Was actually wondering if you could possibly do the origin of Daniel Dreiberg better known as a Night Owl ll
I don’t know why, but I always liked this guy. In the old comics though, wasn’t he NOT as sociopathic ?
Oh, he was. Even before he got his powers he got a sadistic pleasure from killing.
He looks cool. I like him. It's fine to like sociopathic characters just don't idolize them.
He killed a woman and stuff her body in a refrigerator
@@MrBarborosa wdym Patrick Bateman is literally me.
His very first appearance in comics is him raping and murdering somebody.
The bastard who murdered Kyle Rayner's girlfriend.
Too bad he died before that could happen
Yep It’s one of the most heinous and disgusting acts in comics history and the bastard is still alive
@@nicktroisi6347 not necessarily, he died during the events of *Superman/Batman:Public Enemies*
Give Kyle the red and yellow rings and he'll give major force the punishment he deserves!
He already did when he died during Lex Luthor's term as president of the United States
or the black lantern
@@nesseihtgnay9419 not sure I'd put money on that
@@damianprock1650 And pretty much when Kyle became a White Lantern as basically an all-power-rings (except black ring) guy. It was the God ring, and quickly became part of a corps he formed.
@@That80sGuy1972 that figures
He could be a major villain against Capt Atom.
Don't forget when Lex Luther hires Major force his villainous trigger finger's itching, he wants to kill Superman and Batman but Lex convinces him to wait until the public sees them as bad guys and thinks they killed Matalo.
That was a really stupid idea to give the worst person possible trial super powers
The real crime of this guy is he’s the reason for the book “woman in refrigerators”.
Correction Major Force is Captain Atoms nemesis
But also an enemy of Green Lantern Kyle Rayner
@@markmagician2471 like how daredevil share king pin with spiderman
Fridge.
I'd like to see what would happen if Major Force attacked Dr. Manhattan😎That was one of yhe most messed up stories what he did to Kyle's GF...
What I find really bad is, in a recent issue of Nightwing, so tt made it canon that Dick and Kyle hang out sometimes at the start of his run. At least enough that he was at Dick's birthday party, despite almost never sharing a panel. (I mean, it kinda makes sense that they don't? Omega Lantern was basically the Spyral arc, only good. Oddly both are by Tom King.)
The thing is, Babs is kidnapped and thrown in a refrigerator truck at one scene, and she tells Dick via her cell phone "They fridged me to get to you." And then you go back to that earlier scene and Tom? Not funny. Nor was the idea of "Batman slapping Robin" merchandise existing in-universe.
Absorbtion based ability users usually end up clapping the justice league, just look at amazo.
I mean, they usually do have a downside, absorbing the weaknesses as well. So if one of them absorbs Superman's abilities, get out the bullhorn. As the Good Book says, make a noise. Maybe not a joyful one, but definitely a noise.
He's a villain?! Might explains a few things for me... Look I don't know much about him, so this wil be great.
Why can't we just get a Captain Atom Solo movie with Major Force as the villain I think that would be amazing
Man this guy loves stuffing women into fridges
This corny-looking villain is definitely OP! I wonder if DC will bring him to the tv or big screen
Nah he looks cool
Powerful and dangerous but will always be known as the guy who created the 'woman in the fridge' trope....
Why the hell dose he remind me of red hulk from marvel
Because he was a soldier
@@brandonfitzgerald8831 so he's dc version of red hulk
@@scar2377 maybe
@@brandonfitzgerald8831 lmao not “maybe” he clearly isn’t based on red hulk in any capacity
@@scar2377 yes, because they were both soldiers this guy is clearly DC’s red hulk. Even though they don’t look similar and don’t even share powers.
He is just the evil version of captain ⚛️
But weaker
_"He can blast dark matter"_ well it's not "dark" anymore if he knows what it is and can blast it from his body lol I mean, physicists don't even know what dark matter is, that's why we call it dark matter, how does he recognize what it is? He could seriously help improve our understanding of the universe with that knowledge.
He is a super villain my friend. Not a scientist.
Kinda the same reason why computer science has what's called the "black box" no human can really determine how that portion of the computer code operates.
That's what makes him a villain.
@@WaTahBasTard Interesting, I'm a programmer and I've never heard of the "black box." If you understand the CPU's architecture, you can always reverse engineer machine code with enough time. And you can always know what the machine code is simply by looking at the flash memory (or whatever kind of memory it uses). It's a lot of tedious work but it is 100% viable, hackers do it all the time.
@@tristunalekzander5608 Very true, just from what little ive studied at a certain point the code becomes so entangled it can become indecernable like an insanely tangled knot of rope, I'm no official computer programmer myself but I have fiddled around with it get hiw it works. The black box concept seems a bit more common amongst A.I. programming. Anyway When you mentioned black matter it reminded me of the black box.
Been waiting for someone to talk about this guy. He always seems cool and interesting to me. I've always liked his design.
He is honestly my favorite DC villian been waiting on you guys to cover him
I’d love to see a Captain Atom live action film with the hero facing off against MAJOR FORCE. 🤓🤓🤓💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽🚀🚀🚀
He looks like Winnie the Pooh and McDonalds combined
Captain Atom and Major Force are so awesome
MAJOR FORCE is my favorite DC character he's a pissed of version of Captain Atom he's a true bully I like'm 💪👍💪
Major Force is so awesome he will be a awesome villain for a Captain Atom movie
I Absolutely Love, Respect and Appreciate Major Force as one of THE Most Popular DC Villains of All Time of the DC Universe! If only he could've been more Popular though. He could've appeared in *Young Justice.* I Absolutely Respect Major Force as the True Evil Archenemy and Worthy Adversary of Captain Atom. I would love to see these two go Head-to-Head in Epic Showdown of the DC Universe History.
Bottom line...can this guy take out Superman?
He just like homelander
So without any further delay, let us dive right into this video..... but before this explanation let us promote our brand. Lol. Marvelous Contradiction.
Major Force and the guy who he was created as his hero foil of... they would be totally OP if they were brilliant scientists who totally understood the powers they have. I mean, Captain Atom, he's done things on a whim that Firestorm needed to think about. Also, there's the borderline energy life form issue.
Major Force is evil, if he thought about what he could do, he could hold the entire planet hostage as being a suicide bomber that doesn't die by exploding who also explodes yellow light and kryptonite radiation. Ultimate boomski.
Our generation: Gaddayum he's terrifying
Zoomers: CANCEL THAT VILLAIN AND HIS WRITER!

First scientist: We brought Major Force back to life!
Second scientist: For scientists, we sure are phucking stupid!
Fuse Manhattan with captain atom
This guy needs to be sent to the negative zone.
What if someone combined Captain Atom and Firestorm, but they were a psychopathic monster?
Clifford Zmeck, aka Major Force, my favorite Captain Atom foe!
Powerful, and crazy! He has so much quantum energy, he's immortal. He may be more powerful than Captain Atom!
He looks like an evil Captain Atom
That's because in a way he kind of is.
Shouldnt he be a Captain Atom villian?
So a cosmic venom and carnage
Pretty much. 🤷
Why the f would you give a criminal powers?
iirc he was a russain origanlly
so if i was major force all i have to do is keep killing my self consectutevly enough times till i get bopard of it, to give my self a more op lv
Okay do Captain Atom and Bombshell Amy Allen
I don't trust dc government, Captain Atom deserve better man, he lost his wife, don't know if his kids alive and use as a product.
