I’m so mad rob didn’t realize that Arkham Batman was the one he thought was from the Snyder verse he even mentioned being taken over by jokers toxin just like in the last game but he got rid of it and joker still came back, which never happened in the movies and explains what happens after the last game I hope he realizes form the comments

I think it's hilarious and wholesome that Adam West Batman's utility belt ended up saving Prime Batman and the Multiverse thanks to his shark repellent. In the grand scheme of the multiverse, even the goofy but wholesome variants of characters can help save the day, I find that concept beautiful.

You could argue that the most effective Batman was the camp, goofy universe that Adam West portrayed

The great thing about the original shark repellant scene is that it doesn't just leave after being sprayed, it falls in the water and then explodes.

@@AbigatorM Batman Beyond follows BTAS and the Justice League/Unlimited series. They share developers and Kevin Conroy still voices Bruce as well as other voice actors making cameos.
No matter though, while Batman Beyond follows the chronology of the preceding series, one can easily say that it is not the only future. Like how almost all Bruce Waynes share more or less the same night in Crime Alley, but branch off from there.
As far as comic book logic goes, this is a common universe split that has been done lots of times in print. Now the print has brought in the animation as well.

The Justice League Unlimited Batman and the old Bruce from Batman Beyond did meet up. There's a scene when they both yell at Terry and he jokes about something similar to "this must be what they used to call stereo". It still makes me laugh to this day

A main Batman did meet the old, grizzled Batman in the DCAU Justice League Unlimited season one episode 'The Once and Future Thing' it was great. Terry McGinnis was involved as well. On a side note, did anyone else tear up just a bit when Batman entered the BTAS universe?
When you said this was one of the coolest batman stories DC has ever done, I was not expecting, but was pleasantly surprised by the shark repellant.

Rob you forgot to include the most INSANE part of that story which is Batman also left an imprint on the other Batmen he visited and now those Batmen have The Batman of Zur En Arrh personality imbedded into their subconscious 🤯
What does this mean for the future though? More Failsafes (please no)? More purple people eating Batmen?

Remember in TAS, Harvey takes on a THIRD persona called the judge. so the judge is confirmed to be in Harvey somewhere in that continuity at least.
I missed how he got his hand back! This was an amazing story with some great moments of Batmania. This is what Dark Crisis should have been for all the major DC characters!

Always found the old but more violent Batman from TDKR a really fascinating version of the character. Curiously, it was once planned to include a fight between this Batman and Rorschach during the "Countdown: Arena" event (according to a promotional art that depicts them in a Battle Royale), something that sadly never happened
Old man Batman in the TDKR is awesome. Big as hell too physically that really stuck with me, his 2 part movie was amazing especially the last fight and the ending

This end is Faqing crazy! Seeing Batman’s history from across our history with him is beautiful. From west to affleck, I cannot believe it turned out like this😂 getting a piece from each Batman is magical, like everything that has led up to this, every Batman mattered.

This is easy to explain. Batman beyond Joker is the same Joker from the animated series. They're the same continuity.The Joker was killed after the animated series ended, but while Batman was still in his prime.
In this story they wanted to have Crimson Mask jump through the most notable Batman stories outside of comics. They probably split it into two universes because the distinct art styles helped lean into that. So that universe crimson mask ressurects him before Batman Beyond events, and then the second one He's ressurected after.
Loved the story here, seeing Batman Beyond was awesome. Brings back the Justice league episode where batman traveled with the others to the future and met old bruce for the episode. This was a good love letter to batman. They need to do this kind of stuff more and make movies of this.

This was a great story, was genuinely intrigued by this universal cat and mouse game. Loved seeing the Sndyderverse get some flowers too even for a moment. Batman still has some of the best stories at DC. I didn't think they still had this in them.
Harvey Dent reminded me of the BTAS episode when he was The Judge. Kinda a cross between that portrayal of the character & Bane.

Recently it was my friend's birthday, and they are an avid fanwriter of the DC universe, with their own little batman AU. As a gift, I thought it would be fun to use this plotline as an excuse to inject a little chaos into their AU, and wrote them a little story of this Batman crashing into theirs, hahaha.
One of the universes Batman travels to is the Arkham universe from the Batman Arkham games. Its a very interesting panel

In the beginning, the comics explained guy was talking about this universe's version of Harvey Dent, and his identity as The Judge, in a way that made it seem like he wasn't aware of the Judge persona (Harvey's *third* identity, unbeknownst to both him and Two-Face) from "The New Batman Superman Adventures."
Been a Batman Fan-boy since my dad introduced me to comics when I was really young... Batman can do anything I don't care he is the best superhero hands down... Fall from space? He's Batman, Survive canonically destructive laser-eye beams of uber-death? He's Batman, or having to take him out as the first person in any type of crisis because he could stop it almost instantly? BECAUSE HE'S BATMAN... and he's the best 😂
