Cult brings great memories specially playing with such energy, absolutely killer guitar tone from Billy and incredible vocals from Ian. Unexpected but wonderful video. I remember watch them live in 2001 and I dare to say they're better now.
They still got it! Great set list, Ian's voice is perfect, Billy Duffy drips coolness and sounds great while Tempesta keeps the beat. This is what its all about!!
I have watched this video 3 times and am eternally amazed how Duffy can make the sets sound like there are multiple guitars on stage. He is a technical expert and gets the absolute angelic tones out of his Gibson and Falcon guitars.

Seeing the Cult is definitely on my Bucket list! They sound amazing, thank you for capturing this. Kris Kristofferson wrote some big hits including “Me and Bobby McGee “ and “ Help me Make it through the night” , it definitely hurt when he passed because Willie Nelson is the only highwaymen left. It’s sad watching all my heroes and the music I grew up on passing away day by day

I went to this show at Yaamava and it was one of the best performances I've seen them do. It was a great set that spanned across their many albums. I have seen them about 6 times since Sonic Temple came out and this one rocked. It was weird to see that the average age was over 50. Ian kept his energy up which was awesome to see!

They are not trendy.They write music from the heart. You can tell what's going on in Ian and Billys life through the years as there music changes. Some music is more popular than others . To me...its all The Cult, and it all rocks . From little face to Brother wolf, sister moon. Its all music that I appreciate. And this music is part of the sound track of my life. Its crazy the way their music has just always been there at so many different seasons in my life. Thats why this band is something you should not miss. Peace out.....
John Tempesta on drums. Huge groove. A long time Tama endorsee and even has a signature snare named in his honour.. A kick ass 14"x7" brass shell monster and one of the best snare drums ever produced.

Billy just flows it’s the perfect place for his sound and Ian’s voice is more better as they tour more….but you can never take away his talent as the best front man in the business….
Good to see "Star" in the set list - I saw them circa 94/95 in Tempe, Az on that tour. During Star someone was getting kicked out and Ian jumped off the stage to go get them from security - I was front row where he went into the crowd and remember touching his sweaty shoulder as he went by. Good times! CFFC!!!!
I’m 62 an saw the Cult at the Long Beach arena New Years Eve 1990 for the first time..They were so amazing. Since them I’ve seen them 3 additional time. One of my favorite bands ever!
I was at the same concert on NYE as a HS Jr. Went with then GF and some friends. Still one of the best concerts I've ever been to. And I've been to plenty in all genres. They rocked n still do. Happy for it!

I'm a guy who was a teenager in the mid 80s I've always enjoyed several genres of music. Opera, soprano style, symphony Orchestra, metal, rock, classical, country and western, rap, Spanish, etc. First time I heard the Cult I was amazed by Ian's voice I wanted to sound as good as his voice and wanted to play as good as Billy. They probably sound better now than they were at the peak of their career. I greatly appreciate you sharing this with us
I grew up in the 70s early metal head. Foghat, The Godz and Deep Purple. When the 80s came bands with a different sound like Cult and Great White inspired me. I've seen The Cult just once in my life, in 1993 as a support to Metallica in Budapest. And I was so honored to see them life. I had no oother chance to see them life again, but they are still amazing as always. Thank you so much for sharing.

I was first introduced to them in the mid 80’s. They opened for Billy Idol at the LA Forum and KILLED IT. No one really knew them but sure did after their 55 minute opening show. While Billy was rather good and Steve Stevens was in prime form - everyone was talking about the opening act and how good they were.

Back then I saw John Tempesta with Helmet, he is such a hard working dude on the drums ... imagine he was on the road with Exodus, Testament and White Zombie.
First time we saw them live was with Billy idol at the cow Palace in SF! Best concert ever! Took bothnof our sons with us. Aaron 9 , mike 15! Last month i bought them tickets to go see them at thunder valley CA. Im so glad i was able to give them that experience again! My hubby loved them too. He passed away 2012.

I've seen The Cult just once in my life, in 1993 as a support to Metallica in Budapest. And I was so honored to see them life. I had no oother chance to see them life again, but they are still amazing as always. Thank you so much for sharing.

I was first introduced to them in the mid 80’s. They opened for Billy Idol at the LA Forum and KILLED IT. No one really knew them but sure did after their 55 minute opening show. While Billy was rather good and Steve Stevens was in prime form - everyone was talking about the opening act and how good they were.
Last night at Harrah’s here in San Diego, what a show. Ian and Billy slaying all night. This my friends is pure hard rock n roll. Period!

First time we saw them live was with Billy idol at the cow Palace in SF! Best concert ever! Took bothnof our sons with us. Aaron 9 , mike 15! Last month i bought them tickets to go see them at thunder valley CA. Im so glad i was able to give them that experience again! My hubby loved them too. He passed away 2012.
