I am going to say if a Fighting Collection 3 is announced, I can see Rival Schools, Star Gladiator, both Slam Masters games, Tech Romancer, Final Fight Revenge, and that is about it, unless Capcom is lucky to port Onimusha Blade Warriors. The EX games would be their own collection, seeing how Arika developed the trilogy, and games like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom are never going to happen due to copyright issues.
Street Fighter EX needs its own collection And also, please bring Spawn: In The Demon's Hand and Jojo back!! Those games need new licensing to come back!
Alpha 3 Max and Sengoku Basara X definitely need to come in a pack. Additionally Hyper Street Fighter Alpha would be so sick. The EX games and TVC too. Jojo could happen but they'd have to let Bamco publish it. Funny story about the rerelease on PS3, I can't renew my license that I paid for. Also dev teams don't matter. Aside from the arika games since they own the characters. Like the Fate is owned by French Bread. So regardless of 8ing and Cavia's involvement, it's between Capcom and French Bread to release it. The SF Movie games issues would be the actors likenesses, not the external dev team.
The only reason these two didn't make it to this collection is because Capcom didn't want to tweak their ZN2 emulator to accommodate Rival Schools. Both Rival Schools & Plasma Sword ran on the ZN2 arcade hardware.
@@citystatemanticore As a Fate fan (the old Fate, not the gacha) that game was pretty cool too. I remember it having some kind of mini-games too. Kinda like a shoot'em up.

Street fighter the movie (console and arcade), Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, Star Gladiator, Super Street Fighter 2 HD remix, Rival schools, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Street Fighter EX trilogy, Gotcha force, Saturday night slam masters, Tech Romancer, Spawn: In The Demons’s Hand (because of hand to hand combat option), and Heavy Metal Geomatrix. I think vanilla Street Fighter 4 can be in the collection than Super and Ultra Street Fighter 2. I also think OG marvel vs Capcom 3 should have been in Marvel vs Capcom collection. And I think all the games listed need to be in the third collection.
This is a weird observation, but in Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game I never realized how much you can see the flat surface the Honda actor was laying on during his headbutt and splash animations.
God, I loved Slam Masters as a kid. It was everything I wanted in a wrestling game. I understand it's not a traditional Capcom fighter, but isn't that what people love about Power Stone? You missed Rival Schools, the game that's the prequel to Project Justice. Anyway... Game-Arcade hardware it's based on Tech Romancer-Sony ZN-2 I never played the Dreamcast version but I hear it had more features compared to Plasma Sword which was bare-bones hence why the latter's Dreamcast port (which would count as a NAOMI update since it too was Sony ZN-2) is included in Collection 2. Street Fighter EX series 1 & 1 Plus - Sony ZN-1 1 Plus Alpha - PS1 console-only 2 & 2 Plus - Sony ZN-2 3 - PS2 console-only With how they have only ported arcade ROMs, it would be interesting to see what they would do here, I personally hope they make an exception and include 1 Plus Alpha and/or 3 and if any games need to get cut, vanilla 1 would be my guess. Final Fight Revenge-Sega ST-V I wonder if this one would be possible given the hardware is based on the Saturn. From what I've heard, the Saturn is difficult to emulate and is why Capcom never used that console's version of Mega Man 8 & X4 for those collections. Saturday Night Slam Masters series 1-CPS Q-Sound 2-CPS2 The first game is on Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium but oddly enough, the second one isn't. I wonder why? It didn't get an English release in the US but it did in Europe so it does exist. Sengoku Basara X-Namco System 246 This game would actually be possible because it's based off the same hardware as Capcom Fighting Evolution. The problem is that Capcom hasn't done much of anything with the Sengoku Basara IP in a while plus they fumbled with the two attempts at bringing the series outside of Japan with the first & third games. Capcom Fighting All Stars-Namco System 246 Yeeeaaaahhhh.......this would be nice. Fate/Unlimited Codes-Namco System 246 This too, I've heard interesting things about Eighting's games which includes TvC and am looking forward to their Hunter x Hunter game...whenever I get a PS5.
@@NJ973201 I figured since rival schools didn’t make it in with project justice, that they probably weren’t gonna bother with it. Prolly should’ve included it regardless tho.
More likely, Street Fighter EX should be it's own Collection with Both Arcade & Console Version added, & a New Version of EX3 as an Arcade Rom Bonus, & Arika's Fighting Layer as a Bonus.
@@Krs55 I said series when I was talking about it but I should’ve been more clear. I hear 2 has some license stuff it might have to clear with a certain artist though so it might be a bit difficult. Not sure
Big Slam Masters fan. So, the SNES version got rereleased in the Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium a few years back and is playable on Switch. The Genesis version was not included in this and is a VERY different game. Then, the sequel was only released in arcades in Japan. So while Saturday Night Slam Masters does have a playable version on the Switch now, There's a lot of room for improvement and including the unreleased sequel to the US would be fantastic.
I think it would make more sense for Capcom to release a Capcom Arcade Stadium 3 emulation suite and release all three iterations of SF3, Red Earth, and the ZN and NAOMI arcade games.
If you're including Heavy Metal and Spawn, I would also mention Gotcha Force since it was also somewhat of a hybrid between a TPS and a Fighter. Having that game in a modern collection would REALLY help in the used game market as Gotcha Force goes for obscene prices now. Also, what about Rival Schools or Star Gladiator? Their sequels are in FC2.
Did you forget about Ring of Destruction: Slam Masters II? That was the traditional fighting game sequel to the first Slam Masters. It never got a home release. Edit: Nvm, someone already mentioned it in the comments.
I would be daring and say: Bring "Street Fighter One", the Modded version of the 1987 game that makes it enjoyable to play. XP Yes VERY unlikely but let me dream. 😊
@@SOK39 capcom could genuinely fill up another beat em up collection too but there’s a lot of weird license issues there too. But getting final fight 2 and 3 more accessible would be easy and amazing of course
Tech Romancer, Rival Schools United by Fate, Star Gladiator, a few slam masters games, and cannon spike as a bonus Edit: I almost forgot, that japanese only, saturn exclusive, final fight revenge!!
@citystatemanticore thinking back, as awesome and unique as capcom fighter were in the late 80s to the late 90s, maybe early 2000s, I feel like a 3rd collection would probably cover all their fighting games.. right?? Okay, Gotcha Force only on gamecube wasn't a fighting game per say, but it was a 4 person versus style thing. Now THAT would be AMAZING online!
also the reason Rival Schools was not on the other release is because the only easily emulatable version of the game they could use is the PS1 version, and apparently the opening animated cutscene has copyright issues with the song in it. So until they find a good way to emulate the original arcade game 100% accurately, then they'd have to clear the rights to the PS1 version, which they havn't done yet and may have continued trouble doing.
As you can see they don’t have really a 3 if you look at this one they added again street fighter alpha 3 a game that was already released on street fighter collection capcom is done after marvel Vs capcom collection the punisher should of been added with the best em up bundle that included final fight it has nothing to do with X-men vs street fighter
If Capcom's Part 3 Fighting will ever get a shot of getting ported is, let Bandai Namco Publish the Game, with a Special Thanks to Capcom in the End Credit.
NO. WAY. (Capcom fans, like me, would make zero sense of that Capcom doesn't need the help of Bamco! What are you even thinking??) >.< What does Capcom need with Bamco? Screw JoJo's they have enough other stuff, plus it's a COLLECTION. Bamco only has the rights to ONE game. Not just No, but HEY-UL NO! (And ha-ha for having the courage to even *suggest* such irrelevance!)
I gonna say my opinion on every game you mentioned in this video and even add some gomes you didn’t mention. Tech Romancer - it’s for sure gonna be in Capcom Fighting Collection 3. Street Fighter EX Series - the 1st and 2nd (original or arcade updates) will be possible. EX3 less likely because it’s doesn’t have an Arcade version. EX3 more likely to be available via PlayStation Plus Premium. Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max - i think this version needs to be included even back in the street fighter 30th anniversary collection. Im glad upper included included in CFC2 but its too little too late. SFA3M will not be included in a Capcom Fighting Collection 3 because its not an arcade version, i wanted the psp power stone collection content in the CFC2 release or Dee in all the versions of Darkstalkers in CFC1 just like in the Darkstalkers collection on ps2 but capcom are using arcade roms for easy job. The only way i can see Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, Power Stone Collection and even Darkstalkers Chronicles is if capcom willing to put them on PlayStation Plus Premium. Final Fight Revenge - it’s possible and to be honest it’s can devalue the saturn port. Slam Masters - we really don’t need it in CFC3 . It’s available in Capcom Arcade Stadium 2 so we got it on modern consoles. Slam Masters 2 - on the other hand… this one is locked on arcades. I don’t know if we gonna get it in CFC3 because it’s possible that’s all the collections are based on eras (1 was a CPS2 collection and 2 is an 6th generation era collection). It’s possible if we gonna see 5th gen titles like rival schools and star gladiator. Street Fighter The Movie- Definitely No! The CFC using arcade versions and the arcade version of the movie tie-in game sucks. It’s not gonna happen. Street Fighter 4 - it’s more likely but we possible gonna get Vanilla and Super Arcade Edition because Ultra is available on PS4 and steam. By the way Street Fighter 4 running on MT Framework so it’s easier to port it because capcom using the same engine on those collections. Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 - we gonna see it on one of the Nintendo Directs next year because i think UMvC3 and MvCI will get ported to Nintendo platforms (don’t know if it’s the switch or the successor yet). The PS4 version will get a re-print physical copy and it’s gonna be sold by limited run games or pixnlove. It’s not gonna be in CFC3 it’s gonna get a standalone release with MvCI. Ultra Street Fighter 2 - in the nvidia leaks we saw that USF2 will get ported to other platforms. The game runs on MT framework so it’s an easy work. If the leak it’s true so it’s not gonna be on CFC3. Street Fighter X Tekken - it’s possible. No Cole or the Japanese PlayStation cats mascots but i can see it in CFC3. Yeah there’s no arcade version but it’s running on MT Framework so it’s an easy job even if it’s the console versions. It’s more dependent on Namco because they too busy with Tekken 8 content right now. Sengoku Basara Cross - it’s possible. Sengoku Basara is a capcom ip and it’s running on the same arcade hardware that’s Capcom Fighting Evolution running on. I think it’s possible with or without ASW but i think ASW can work with capcom to polish it for CFC3. Onimusha Blade Warrior- less likely to see it in a CFC3. I can see it in a onimusha collection (they put the main character in astrobot btw). Viewtiful Joe Red Hot Rumble - i don’t see it in a CFC3. It’s possible to see it in a Viewtiful Joe collection or in Nintendo Switch Online if they add GameCube games or via PlayStation Plus Premium (it’s also got a PSP port). Capcom Fighting All Stars - i want it in CFC3 so much! It’s deserves to be included but it’s more if capcom willing to put it, the heads of the Capcom Fighting Division want to make all the fighting games included on modern hardware. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - i can’t see it in CFC3 because capcom doesn’t own the IP. The only way i can see it in modern hardware is if Bandai (the Anime side of Bandai Namco Entertainment) would do an JoJo's Bizarre Adventure retro games collection and it’s only depending on if capcom willing to do it. They used the disney games in the Disney games collection few years ago without capcom publishing it. Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom - in japan it’s possible even for a standalone release but in the west its licensing nightmare. Capcom can make it work if they want. I can see it in CFC3 but it’s very dependent if they can make the licensing nightmare solved and make a cover art that’s don’t bury kazuya, ryu and a Tatsunoko character. Heavy Metal/Spawn - gonna put them both. The chance we can see them is if capcom gonna do a Beat Em Up collection 2. Those games ain’t fighting games. Fate/unlimited codes - i think it’s a possibility more than you think. 8ing worked with capcom a lot especially in the Versus games in the late 00s and early 10s, and the ip owner of the fate ip actually very open with working woth other companies. Also the game running on the same hardware that’s capcom fighting evolution and sengoku basara cross running on. But it’s more challenging because it’s a 3d game unlike the other 2 i mentioned. Rival Schools & star gladiator- you didn’t talked about those games so i will. They gonna be in CFC3 or even Capcom Arcade Stadium 3. Rival Schools is more problematic in whats version in CFC3 because the PS1 version maybe have loading times but there’s a lot of console exclusive characters (and an updated version that’s exclusive in japan on the ps1). I think it’s possible to put the arcade version of rival schools but they need to remove the soft bank ads. Star Gladiator is a safe bet. Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold - you didn’t talk about this one as well. I want the ps2 version because of cammy but the arcade version exists. I don’t think we gonna get it in CFC3 we gonna get it in Arcade stadium 3. Darkstalkers Chronicles & Power Stone Collection- If Alpha 3 Max will be a PlayStation Plus Premium we gonna see those games as well. Super Puzzle Fighting 2 - why i mentioning it? It’s in CFC1! That’s true but… the CPS2 version sucks. I want the Dreamcast/PSP ports or HD Remix but we never gonna get it.
I think Street Fighter The Movie probably falls in the last category because of the actors and actresses likeness, Capcom apparently already has that issue with the Onimusha series (according to fans at least, that's why it doesn't get re-releases). I just think the Van Damme likeness is probably too expensive for a kusoge re-release. JoJo on the other hand I don't think it's impossible, Bandai Namco owns the game license for the franchise, and from everything we can tell them and Capcom have a decent relationship. Apparently the arcade board/system used for Capcom Fighting Jam was made by Namco even (Namco System 246).
Maybe Capcom is Convincing Bandai Namco to Included Their Part 3 & 5 Game on a Hypothetical JJBA Collection Along with a Part 3 JRPG, & the Phantom Blood PS2 Game.
@@MVKBPR damn, I didn’t even think about likeness issues with the street fighter movie games but that’s a great point. Honestly I’m hoping you’re right with jojo too. I’d prefer heritage getting rereleased again vs sf the movie lol.
I believe only one of them run on ZN... Plasma Sword. Majority of them are NAOMI games. What they should have done is emulate the Dreamcast versions of the games instead... since the Dreamcast is relatively easy to emulate.
@sdlock83 rival schools united by fate too no? That one only was only released on ps1 I believe. Gameplay was solid like the arcade, but the graphics were lacking a bit
@@gm9984 Nope. Rival Schools was originally a ZN2 arcade game, and was later ported to the PS1. Just like how the NAOMI arcade hardware is structurally similar to the Dreamcast hardware, the ZN2 hardware is virtually identical to the PS1 hardware, which translated to ease of porting.
@sdlock83 wow interesting. Didn't know that. So does that mean that an exact arcade port can actually be done? I honestly don't see why not, other than copy right issues
@@gm9984 No copyright issue. My presumption is that the development team were not allocated the time and resources to tweak the ZN2 emulator to run Rival Schools optimally. Rival Schools is overall a larger and more content-filled game compared to Plasma Sword. Also remember that the folks commissioned to work on in-house emulators, emulation, and compiling the ROMs in a presentable manner for release... they are doing all of this as collateral duties (secondary or tertiary responsibilities) in addition to their main jobs, which were probably R&D for their not flagship titles like Street Fighter 6, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, etc.
The third collection should be a "not in the arcade" collection. Street Fighter II HD Remix (better than Ultra) Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower Rival Schools
@@citystatemanticore I heard that the arcade version would have been very difficult to emulate. That's one reason I think they should do a console exclusive collection.
What's left is the HD remix version and they need to include within it the extra music soundtrack CPS-2 and FM-Towns versions of Super Street Fighter II that was released for the 3DO version at first but re-released with the release of Hyper Street Fighter 2 in 2004 for the PlayStation 2 but these two music tracks are completely missing on the Steam version which was included in the Capcom Fighting Collection 1 along with many stoopid petty censorship from Darkstalkers. And as a joke they should include the Street Fighter 2010 from the NES.
1) Street Fighter EX 2) Street Fighter EX2 3) Street Fighter EX3 4) Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars 5) Street Fighter: The Movie 6) Star Gladiator 7) Rival Schools 8) Tech Romancer
My Capcom Fighting Collection 3 wishlist: Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition Rival Schools Star Gladiator Tech Romancer Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha Street Fighter EX2 Plus Street Fighter EX3
I think they should just make a fighting game collection thats all kusoge like sengoku basara X, street fighter the movie, and maybe throw in the final fight fighting game. Even bad games should be preserved too.
@citystatemanticore honestly I'd buy it only for messing around in them alone. Especially since these games are either japan only or extremely rare now.
Woul d like to see Gotcha Force make it into the collection to &, this one has a super small chance but, would like to see Street Fighter Online Mouse Generation as I almost had the chance to play it back then and watching tournament play of it it's INSANE.
@@SeelkadoomandJokic00 shit I forgot about gotcha force. That would be a good one. No idea what mouse generation is but taking a gander at it, it looks really weird. Totally played with mouse? Wish I’d have had a chance to try it lol.
If they do another one is probably gonna be the ZN-1/2 arcade ports so: Street Fighter EX 1 and 2, Star Gladiator, Rival School and Tech Romancer. From other systems they could add SF Ex3 or SF:The movie or maybe Cannon Spike if they're fancy. Slam Masters has some licensing deals with the artist (the creator of Fist of the North Star) which is why it hasn't been ported into any capcom collection, I hope they could handle that. As for Jojo I think they will port it eventually, but by itself just like the PS360 port. I think that capcom could justify an USF4 and MVC3 port if they make it for the switch or whatever Nintendo is going to make next, since they don't have access to those games, although the port I want the most is for Tatsunoko.
i see nothing wrong with putting Viewtiful Joe as a maybe. Fighting collection one had puzzle fighter and MVC collection is going to have punisher. I think its more of what fits the vibe of the collection.
The answer is simple: The console version of every single Capcom fighting came, because if I want to Play Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold I have to hook up my PS2 and use the Alpha Anthology. Then you have the EX Editions of the Marvel games that have some unique mechanics in how they were adjusted to be 1 v 1 fighters instead of tag.
Some that you didn't mention that would be cool are Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, Hyper Street Fighter Alpha, Rival Schools, Star Gladiator, Vampire Chronicle and the exclusive version of Vampire Saviour on that PS2 collection that had Dee.
One I'd bring Back in Gaia Master, which is basically a card fighter meets Fortune Street, and if Fortune Street doesn't ring a bell, than think Mario Party. Only releasing in Japan, it would be a hard sell, but its most "famous" character, Princess Tiara has received 2 figures (1 being a palette swap of the other) not to mention was planned to be playable in Tatsunoko
@citystatemanticore the only reason I really want it to comeback is simply because the characters are really cool and have great designs and it'll be a shame if they stay hidden forever
It would be cool seeing a Capcom one-off collection, featuring games that aren't a series or have sequels, like Haunting Ground, Chaos Legion (Capcom actually does own the IP despite misconceptions), Gaia Master, etc.
You forgot a capcom game that released on Dreamcast which is "Cannon Spike" a multi-directional shooter arcade game that include Cammy and Charlie from the Street Fighter series; Arthur from Ghosts 'n Goblins and other characters
@@wvu9787 saw some news recently that said capcom was working on fixing the games broken by gfwl removal and sfxt is one of them so hopefully it’ll be back soon.
I think you're right about Ultra Street Fighter IV & Ultimate Marvel V's Capcom 3 for the reason you said, they are still selling both of them on new age systems but! What if the earlier iterations of these games would be on it instead???
Personally I would like to see a Street Fighter III Ultimate Edition. That has every stage from the SFIII series and lets you select any version of each character, all in one game. With Online play and rollback net code.

Sengoku Basara X-Namco System 246
This game would actually be possible because it's based off the same hardware as Capcom Fighting Evolution. The problem is that Capcom hasn't done much of anything with the Sengoku Basara IP in a while plus they fumbled with the two attempts at bringing the series outside of Japan with the first & third games.
Capcom Fighting All Stars-Namco System 246
Yeeeaaaahhhh.......this would be nice.
Fate/Unlimited Codes-Namco System 246
This too, I've heard interesting things about Eighting's games which includes TvC and am looking forward to their Hunter x Hunter game...whenever I get a PS5.

Kinda surprised that you didn’t mentioned Saturday Night Slam Masters 2: Ring Of Destruction
Alpha 2 Gold and 3rd Strike with rollback

Perhaps the Final Fight games?
@@SOK39 capcom could genuinely fill up another beat em up collection too but there’s a lot of weird license issues there too. But getting final fight 2 and 3 more accessible would be easy and amazing of course

Edit: I almost forgot, that japanese only, saturn exclusive, final fight revenge!!
Made this comment before I watch full video, and literally every title I said was already mentioned 😂
@@gm9984 I tried to be thorough haha. I appreciate the comment regardless though :)
@@the-NightStar interesting. I figured there was something to that one not being in the 2nd bundle.
Tatsunoko Vs Capcom is the holy grail at this point. Also they need to re-release the Dungeon and Dragon beat ‘em up games.
Do they not sell chronicles of mystara anymore?
Why?
I can see it in CFC3 but it’s very dependent if they can make the licensing nightmare solved and make a cover art that’s don’t bury kazuya, ryu and a
Tatsunoko character.
Also the game running on the same
hardware that’s capcom fighting evolution and sengoku basara cross running on.

The first rival schools for one, passing on cfc2 because they did not put both rival schools games in.
The Bulk of this Collection should be their ZN Arcade Rom.

I heard that the arcade version would have been very difficult to emulate.
